I was in the same boat, and I tried to fix things by hanging out with her more and that was a mistake. I should have moved on regarding how painful that might be, but that might be the only way to take the interest back and opportunity for her to chase me.

The thing is, she still kept testing me after that and even showed blatant signs of interest and flirting. She is a very confusing individual to say the least. I pulled away at one point and didn't talk to her for a week or so. I noticed her get progressively irritated and she started to be blatantly disrespectful to me in front of other people. One convo, we were talking about our past relationship where things went wrong and she told me she was "in love" with a married man. A dude whom she told me was "just a friend" throughout our relationship (2 years). I had speculation she was seeing him again and confirmed my intuition she'd had been seeing him during the 49 days and had feeling for this guy who was "just a friend" all along. I ended up telling her not to contact me ever again. This happened almost 3 weeks ago now.

Corey, how do you handle a woman you work with, who you know has interest in you, but you (me) over pursued? It's harder when you have to see her 3-4 times a week and she's constantly testing you. Nevermind the fact that she talks about you to everyone in the same workplace.

@Lucy_14141 We work together, so by over-pursue I mean I overreacted to her initial signs of interest towards me. I started asking questions about her to get to know her, and once that happened she started testing me non-stop. I also asked her out on a date at one point, to which she said she "has a BF". I didn't really believe her, but I didn't overreact and kind of just brushed it off by making a joke. The thing is, she still kept testing me after that and even showed blatant signs of interest and flirting. She is a very confusing individual to say the least. I am beginning to think she is a narcissist though and just loves the attention. Seeing as she gets attention from everyone, especially other guys we work with. I pulled away at one point and didn't talk to her for a week or so. I noticed her get progressively irritated and she started to be blatantly disrespectful to me in front of other people. She still shows interest from time to time and can still be very overtly flirtatious.
@Lucy_14141 I do get the sense she has genuine interest and part of the issue is she is not good at communicating it. She is a bit younger than me as well. So, that can obviously play into it. She is a very beautiful girl. So I know she has a lot of guys all clamoring for her attention. So, it could also be her naturally having her guard up.
