  • Christmas shopping for your husband/boyfriend? I talk about 10 tools you should consider picking up from Harbor Freight for that DIYer or man (or woman) in your life for Christmas gifts.
Here is a short list -
Hardy Work Gloves, Pittsburgh Ratchets (which I have reviewed), Bauer Cordless tools, Diablo or Central Pneumatic Hose Reel, Doyle Bench Vise or Central Forge Bench Vise, Daytona or Pittsburgh Jack, Titanium Welder (potentially the best welders for the money), Electric or Predator Hydraulic Log Splitter, Predator Generators, or US General tool boxes.

For stocking stuffers the pick set that always goes on sale for $1 is great. I got them for doing oil changes, but have ended up using them for other things now. The Pittsburgh 22 piece fully polished wrench set is another one of my favorites. I use those wrenches all the time around the house and for automotive. Even at regular price its a great deal for a set of decent wrenches with a lifetime warranty! Also for working on cars I got the bauer set of extended metric nutsetters. Those are awesome if you have to take off splash shields all the time.
I also of course recommend the 3 ton jack, and Buaer cordless tools as well.

Their breaker bars are awesome I’ve had mine for 5 years.
My low profile 3 ton Pittsburgh jack I’ve had for over a decade. Their Quinn ratchet is awesome. I try to avoid buying anything with circuitry involved from HF but their welders are great and if the Bauer lineup didn’t cost you almost as much as Makita or Milwaukee brushed tools then I’d have a positive opinion on them but I do believe they are a scam but to see a knowledgeable person such as yourself use them I am curious about them again.

Bauer prices have dropped. Brushed Bauer is cheap. Brushless Bauer is like old regular Bauer Prices. Also, I see people regularly saying it’s almost as close as Mikita or Milwaukee and I think that might be true for a drill/driver kits but not when it comes to the extra tools. Everything Milwaukee is $120+. Like it starts at $120 and goes up from there. Most Bauer tools are are under $100. If you’re a tradesman, definitely do consider a pro brand, but if you’re a DIYer consider Bauer as an option. Thanks for watching!
