And that's the best part about this class is compared to every other VR glasses You can wear them without a problem because even though people are looking they're not thinking something's out of the ordinary when I'm wearing them in a public place
Nice. I am exceptionally near sighted. It would be nice if the device could be effectively be move closer, or farther, way to compensate. But I guess a single focus lens from the eye place would not be that expensive. You didn't emphasize it, but I guess this is like a standard 1080p TV. I would love a super wide-screen mode.
Also, if you wear glasses... You can take the included eye glass inserts to your eye doctor and have them put your prescription on them. The inserts fit into the Xreal glasses themselves and look like a really small pair of bifocals
It’s highly impressive stuff for sure. But I don’t think these glasses will provide the visuals of my LG OLED. These glasses should be great for use when you’re out and about. But when at home, large OLED & full home cinema setup is still the way to go
My favorite thing is to wear them and look straight at people. Obviously you’re just looking at the projected screen but people think you’re looking at them 😂
@@jrob0021 Thanks for the reply! Definitely don't have the money for something like this as of right now, but is seems pretty cool. Think I'm gonna save for a steam deck first though.
I wanted to get a pair of these but it's not compatible with my phone so there is no point until I get steam deck or something but I don't have the money for both
Considered getting these but needing to be physically tethered to an external device basically will make them an expensive gimmick you'll rarely use. Even having a battery with Bluetooth functionality would make it significantly more worth it even if it can't run anything natively.
@@justinhalen2126 Entirely different, that was the only way to connect audio then and didn't cost an arm and a leg. Now that Bluetooth exists people don't want to be tethered for audio visual devices esp for almost $400. Streaming video over Bluetooth sounds like the worst idea someone's ever had. Even audio is only now getting to the point where the delay is acceptable for real-time uses (games) lol
Beg to differ. I use mine daily. I have them hooked up to a mini pc with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Works like a charm. I use them nightly to watch movies in bed. I travel a lot for work and use them every flight to watch movies. Hook ‘em up to the iPad and use the ps5 remote play and it works flawlessly. I thought I wouldn’t have much use ( purchased on a whim via Amazon to test out). Best purchase I’ve made in a long time. Waiting for the beam to ship to add even more functionality
I don’t think it’s that weird if I don’t mind people watching what I play in any type of public transportation. I mean, it’s already kinda weird looking at a dude with glasses and playing with the controller 🤷🏻♂️
I can’t get them to work with the PS5 HDMI, I get sound but no video, trough the Nreal Air Adapter, I’ve only managed to get image trough Remote play , trough the iPhone but there’s a tiny minimal lag, and picture ain’t that clear.
I am having a problem with my Viture glasses and plying on my PPS 5, I have they paired up with my PS 5 okay but my controller don't seem to work...anyone have a easy solution so I may enjoy them. Thanks.
As a prescription glasses wearer (near sighted) I wonder if I need to get a prescription fitted for the glasses or if that is for far sighted people since it projects the screen and simulates it being meters away but the lenses are near your eyes.
@@MarioMadness1 I know you can. But is that for near sighted or far sighted? If it is for near sighted it adds to the cost for me. If it is for far sighted people I am alright, as I can see images near my face/read books at arm's length away.
I think you'd just need to test the product but have you tried any VR headsets before? I imagine it works the same as far as image projection so if you needed glasses then you would now. I'm nearsighted and I'm usually still needing glasses tbh
This video 100% comes off as a paid ad. Didn’t even review them properly or give any critical feedback. Most the video you’re just telling me how to wear them. I like your videos, Jacob, but this ain’t it
I literally bought a pair of these not a couple months ago and now all my favorite youtubers are showcasing them... this always happens. Yes I reposted this exact message on the other videos uploaded today. Not throwing shade, (pun intended), but this shits wiiiilldddddd.
I know this glasses are a new technology, they need to add some new features on them, meaning so you can connect the glasses to a DVD or 4K player and watch films also, that would work really well especially with home theatre systems, imagine you have the glasses on watching a very large screen 200 inch screen , if you could connect them into a DVD player I would definitely purchase them, the company is leaving money on the table, imagine they get all those home theatre hobbies that are into surround sound systems, and plus there is people who want a bigger screen at home because of room size and space this can work very well these glasses has a lot of potential, note if you can connect them to a DVD player or TV that's a lot of potential!
Bought it and returned them. They’re cool and all but not for everyone. When they’re wireless and lighter, I’ll try it again but for the price, it’s a gimmick that feels like a chore to use.
How so? What if your only goal is productivity or gaming? I'd much rather lay in bed and play pc on a 200" screen than my 70" TV. Also being able to have 3 monitors to work on anywhere us crazy.
@Jacob R Sorry, I am practicing how I am going to sell this to my wife. LOL... In all seriousness these may be super useful for folks like me that work from home, but like to have a level of portability. I have a travel bag I call my "portable office" and these would definitely make that next level. Thanks!
Check out the NReal Air Glasses here! amzn.to/3XcPkyY
Let me know what device you’ll be using your pair for 👍
If the Nintendo Switch can connect without needing to dock, I would be down for buying them
can you answers peoples questions here?

When playing console games such as PS5, Switch, or Steam, how solid/transparent would you say it is? Can it be adjusted?
It’s very slightly transparent. Basically not transparent at all if you use the black out shades that you can attach to the glasses

not hating on this but adding prescription lenses plus the lenses and screen plus the tech would make it uncomfortable to wear.
