Khaung Daing - Snack Village in Myanmar

- Village Khaung Daing (also called Tofu Village) at Inle Lake produces 22 different snacks, mostly from chickpea flour, cane sugar and rice - these manufacturies have been in operation for more than 100 years.
Many of the products contain Burmese Tofu which is made from chickpea flour, unlike regular Chinese Tofu which is made from soy beans.
Naturally home made snacks, without machinery, manually done by human labour, is organic fresh n healthy. Proud of u guys, may God bless d work of ur hands abundantly. Bless u n ur families.

Everything is manual labor & physical but they take it in stride & seems to enjoy doing it. It's a simple life but not an easy one. This is a good video of life in a beautiful village.

If these people are more in phisical suffering, people from developed region of Earth are in mental suffering. Anyway, some kind of suffering always follow us. Nobody is fully satisfied in this life.
Love this , and they are trying to keep that cute , nosey little kitten , from serious harm from that very hot oil.. That food will be tasty and healthier than most Western foodstuffs'.

I enjoyed the video very much. Thank you for bringing it to us. I was very interested in the food they're making. But I have to admit that as a quality inspector/technician in the food production industry here in the USA, I was shuddering seeing the lack of cleanliness and pest control when drying the products out in the open with animals and traffic around.

It seems that Burmese females are more active and high productive labour than male.Had the male become active like women,and had there a proper and perfect govt,then that country might be economically as developed as Japan or China.
