Nice, I thought passenger jeeps are only available in the Philippines. In the Philippines there are also 4x4 version of the normal Manila Jeeps. In some provinces there are 4x4 passenger jeeps, some have even rear differential and front lockers until some 10-15 years ago. Amazing isn't it. But due to the progress and time, those are now gone since most roads are now concrete and even asphalted. Now those areas that can only be reached with 4x4 jeeps and cars even have their own modern taxi vans (Toyota Hi Ace Vans and Nissan Urvan) mostly.
My village of North East India was like this before 20 years ,but before 20 years ago road was very good,the condition of our village began to deteriorate after some rulling party came to India ,but the fault was not with the party ,with the modernization of world more heavier and heavier vehicle came to our village which damaged the road,and I am in plain area, mountain village in rainy days ,such situation may be common in India still today.
This people life is very hard.feel pity to see them in the situation in 21st century where people are 200 years ahead of them.Really they are living in primitive age with the machine of Jurassic eras.look at the truck ,this model has already vanish 40years ago in advance country.They still using.Time will come they too will be part of modern day forgetting this era of early man life
Only paying for fuel for 6 hours of skilled driving and tons of extra fuel when he was stuck, and his clutch was bad, and his 4WD wasn't working. Great guy.
If campi the taxi driver had seen better days then these days he is facing bitter bays, he must be dreaming of his bitter days to get better- meanwhile he must be seeking solace from the bitter pill he has to swallow everyday with a washing down of the bitter drink- only the bitter drink makes him feel better
If only the world could learn what optimism, and community cohesiveness means under adversity! It would be a more peaceful world! I believe its still possible....

Any law abiding citizen really needs development namely road, clean & treated eater, electricity, amenities etc. But it is somehow overlook by the ruling junta in Mynmar as they only tend to themselves. If the road is properly maintain i believe the Mynmarese people are not suffering but look at the hardship before them. Hope they never give up but look forward to the future
