The Street Seller who sell Shrimps actually mean one Viss (1 Viss = 1.65kg). Because she thought one piece is one viss. One viss of shrimp is 30000 kyats. Not only one shrimp is 30000 kyats. She got that idea from the seller who sell chicken because the chicken seller told you one whole chicken is 18000 kyat which mean one chicken weight about one viss. But they dun know how to tell you viss. So they just simply say one whole piece of chicken 18000 kyats.
Good morning, interesting walk thru this busy market, there is everithing to buy for a good meal, but i recognize some food are overpriced, its same in my country. Thanks a lot for your presentation of Life in Yangon and around, very like and appreciate your videos. 👍i wish you a happy weekend 🌸🙏
Hello. It's nice to meet you. Do you want me to call you Burma or Myanmar? Okay. THose were all grown by them! The work they must have put into it to grow those beautiful veggies and fruit! What hard workers. I would purchase that. Those look fresh and delicious! Everyone is working hard, everyone is gracious. Beautiful humble kind people! :) I would not mind visiting your country. Other people should visit your country too. These are all very very kind looking people! It's a lovely lovely market, this market is wonderful. Thank you.
So far, Yangon is relatively better than other parts of Myanmar. Outside Yangon is not 100% stable. You should seek advise from your country's govt. before planning to travel in Myanmar.
That powder is called “Thanaka” in Myanmar. Thanakha is a paste made from ground bark and a distinctive feature of the culture of Myanmar. Apart from cosmetic beauty, thanaka also gives a cooling sensation and provides protection from sunburn.

That girl selling shrimp is crazy. So expensive. 1 pcs 30.000. OMG.
I think that she understood it as one "Viss", not "Piece". Viss (peittha) is the measurement of weight in Myanmar. 1 Viss = 1.6329 Kg (3.6 pounds).
@@PrasunBarua oh..ok.ic. 😊
I used to go there.I know all the ppl.😊
Lobster ,one viss 30,000 K,and 20000 K
not one piece!

@@PrasunBarua 1.6 kg = 1viss (peittha)
