    Absolutely Horrific what this man went through purely because he was photographed with others who were convicted of crimes from decades ago. He never recovered and now hes dead. I hope that every single person who played a part in this mans downfall has a nasty and painful slow death as soon as possible.

      Exactly I had the pleasure of meeting him back in the early 1990s, once at a party I was invited to. I was very fit them and did a lot of Tae Kwon Do i.e. high kicks and many of them. We got talking and were in the garden and he asked me to show the difference or Korean style kicking to Japanese Karate which he had some interest and a trainer of his had shown and taught him. I did and he showed me a very good and power Karate side kick , then asked me to correct him and in a very short time was doing a very good senior level Tae Know Do kick. Then jokingly said, want to see who can do the most, having won such contests in the pass agreed to. Its a long time now and I forgotten how we both did but I can recall that he surpassed me very easily and I could tell he was seriously VERY FIT indeed. As you so rightly say, to see him a shambling wreck in this video, to get like that from being once so fit, he must have been through a lot to have his spirit broken because the man I met that day was a very strong, powerful and fit man with so much going for him. RIP Freddie,

      13 allegations from 8 people so I believe. Someone on another page said that his mate counselled one of them who apparently was the daughter of one of Freddie’s mates, The only allegation made public was that made by Mrs Ward on television. That is the allegation referred to in this piece as “not in the public interest to prosecute”. It had satisfied “Balance of probability” which needs to be satisfied before a criminal prosecution can be attempted. . I think they calculated that the chances of a significant conviction were probably going to be slim indeed. Mrs W had also said that she had not set out to see him prosecuted when she spoke about what happened as an adjunct to the main narrative about her abuse at the hands of Jimmy Savile. The other 12 did not satisfy balance of probability and hence were not taken forward. As Mrs W’s allegation had satisfied Balance of Probability this is why she won the civil libel case against her. The criminal standard of proof “beyond reasonable doubt” is not required in the civil court. Freddie was also too slow in making the complaint. Too much time had elapsed under English law for the complaint to carry.

  • @johnj3577
    @johnj3577 5 лет назад +3

    That is the face of an innocent man accused of something horrific and unimaginable to him. If he'd been guilty he would have had that terrified /defiant look. This is not terror, its the face of a man who's reputation and entire soul has been destroyed unjustly. Cliff Richard had the same look when he was investigated. Poor guys. Just awful. RIP Freddie.

    These comments about his innocence are astounding.

      That means no evidence to prosecute him that means in the eyes of the law he is innocent. Do you understand that concept.

    • @Mulberry2000
      @Mulberry2000 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@talkssense7269 Not in the public interest usually means not enough evidence (or there are other factors involved, like the ages of the person, his or her health) waste of money - result not guilty. Remember the courts have to prove beyond reasonable doubt a person is guilty, not the person not guilty. In UK law a person is automatically not guilty till proven others wise. People can make a claim here or that or 1 has some evidence, and it as not the public interest to prosecute, it matters a jot. If the CPS say no point to pursue the case it means the person being accused is not guilty automatically. Age is not a factor as the case of Rolf Harris proves.

    One of the worst shocks to you and your family is being accused of something heinous that you didn't commit. It has such detrimental implications for you and your loved ones, it's absolutely horrendous. We've all been accused of things we did and didn't do but this man was put through the ringer because it was all exacerbated by the media and it was an accusation which ranks among the worst crimes a person could commit against another. There's real paedos out there, I think the genuine ones stitched him up. The intelligence services here and in America are known to use both juveniles and sex predators to do their dirty work. I hope justice is swiftly delivered to both the injured parties and the true perpetrators, we need a fair system, not a blind one. I feel sorry for all the victims of false accusations, rest in peace Freddie Starr 🙏
