Freddie Starr was being interviewed by Susanna Reid. She basically said to Freddie, even though he’d been found innocent of the charges, then said to Freddie, basically no smoke without fire Freddie ended the interview. At this time Freddie was a broken man you could tell that by his voice by his appearance, and his body language, but she didn’t care?

The statute of limitations was removed in many countries, to allow victims of industrial abuse to get Justice. Now those cases have been dealt with, they really must consider reinstating the statute of limitations. These are very serious and destructive allegations to someone who has been falsely accused. How is anyone supposed to prove their innocence, after a number of years, with no forensic testing available. It is one persons word against another. In Jimmy's case and people like him, the case was dropped due to lack of evidence, the CPS in many similar incidents, decided to let a jury decide. As gracious as the panel is being to him, that doesn't clear his name, and there will be those who will say, there is no smoke without fire.

I read a book years ago (Can't remember name sorry) where the author said as a young lady, she and her friend were in Blackpool and Tarbuck invited them "back to his hotel" after his show. They did consider it, but decided against it.

So back in the day, people used to meet in night clubs, go back to the flat or wherever and have a laugh and a coffee and then go home. No naughty business. This was pre-mass immigration. If you go to court, by law you must be faced by your accusers.

Don’t you think if there had been anything to come out it would have done so with those 3 years of investigations. Jimmy saville Rolf Harris we’re massively famous and they were tried and found guilty and there careers left in ruins. What would have made cliff any different the reason nothing came out is because there never was anything to come out.
