I know what you mean, just give the vehicle up and move on. I had to do that and lived in a gated community. The tow driver was so happy he didn’t have to go through a bunch of stuff to get the car. When the gate security called I just told them to let them in. The driver was so surprised, he said most times in places like this he has to track the vehicle down outside of home.
Due to miscommunication from my bank once, a repo driver drove through my yard to pick up my car, destroyed $13,000 worth of landscaping, and irrigation system. I removed keys from the wrecker and called the police, turned out to be a real mess. Poor driver was on his 2nd repo by himself. Bank used a 3rd party to contract the repo. Long story short, what remained owed on car was paid off, and the tow company insurance paid for the damages to my yard. Anyways, stay safe and be careful when having to enter someone's yard!

I could have, but with the wheels kicked out, it would have went off into the ditch, and I’m liable for the damage that’s caused in doing so. So to stop that from happening, I dollied it.
Wheel Lift? Cool is that the proper name for them? Flatbed's seem to be pretty much universally called Flatbeds (although I've heard the name Rollback used for them as well). But for this kind of tow truck I don't think I ever heard the name Wheel Lift before. I've always heard of this kind of tow truck referred to as a Wrecker.

It won’t stop you from taking the car but definitely SLOW YOU DOWN
I know what you mean, just give the vehicle up and move on.
That’s why you gotta know the laws before you go driving through yards lol
@@Towtruck_Dustin lmao if people knew the law there wouldn't be a repo man anywhere ever I just left you a comment on another post tell n you things about the law. Smfh lmao 🤣 🤦
Nicely done. I know this is an older video. However, what do you do if the vehicle up for repossession has a wheel clamps fitted. 👍
My heart is pumping so fast
So glad I toughed it out and took public transport for 6 years to save up and buy my car cash. Hurt seeing my 30k leave the bank but it was well worth it. I could have afforded payments easily for even a 60k car but owning my mid vehicle gives me a peace of mind.
I’ll never get why people buy above their means. I’m lucky enough to make an above average salary and my average owned kia with no payments has brought me more joy than any luxury car I’d be giving payments on regardless if I can afford it.
Stay safe when you are out on repos my dad also used to do repos and he has had his nose broken because people don't like getting their cars repoed
Thankfully I haven’t gotten into any physical altercations, but I have had guns pulled on me before. lol
My dad did to and we’ll I had my car repoed king ass story my dad same way
Seems this guy is new or first time using this tools???
Good job those Wheels were definitely cranked but you got it that's what matters
Appreciate it!
Is that what matters? Helping to further hurt a family who may be struggling? He is a snake in the grass punk who can't do anything else.
@@YourlocalTrumpster If youre financially struggling you dont buy 2 big ass trucks to drive. You buy a regular sedan with a small and low fuel consumption engine
Dustin you have got some wicked skills.
Thank You!
For real !!
Impressive. I watched this on the edge of my seat as you seem to sound so loud, but I get that's just because you have the mic on you.
Okay my first time ever seeing this cat!! But ya'll do know a repo guy never stay at place he's picking the car up this long they will leave and hook up the car later.this is probably something else! None of them wants to put their selves and family in danger!
No. It was definitely a repo. Because of how it was parked with the wheels turned, I had to throw Dollies to avoid damaging it pulling it through the ditch.
Did I want to be there that long? Nope. But you have to sometimes.
Obviously you’ve never done the job before.
Hardly seems worth the trouble to repo and auction off that car. They bank really needs their $100 I guess.
you would have had to block road in flatbed, correct?
I get straight with it yes.
This had to have been a voluntary repo, no way in hell would I have strapped down and dollied up in the yard. That took waaaay too long and made way too much noise. Pick it up, pull it away from the home and then secure it.
So what about the turned front wheels w/o the dolly? I'm thinking w/o dolly or strapped rear wheels he risks it falling off.
@@danielgoodman3578I mean you don’t have to do the dolly, he could have easily just disengaged the car and put it in neutral or disconnect the wheels from the transmission
@@PokemonScott if the wheels are locked in a turned position I would think the risk remains though
Just subscribed! Can't wait for some delinquent owner drama 🤗😁
Those people had to either not cared or weren't home. Getting those dollies out and on was pretty loud.
That’s why I’ll either go out late at night or middle of the day. Try to catch them sleeping or while gone at work lol
Repo man-Dustin getting down in the Lake Jackson Texas area! Get them O.D.B. Debtors!
Man these guys do not get paid enough for this. Dangerous work
Repo man coming for your stuff
Repo man doesn't give a fluff
Don't pay your bills it's gonna be rough
Wait for the repo man.
PAY YOUR BILLS. KEEP YOUR WHEELS!!!!
Im kinda impressed someone got finacing on a $1500 car. What were the payments 2 big macs a month? And they still defaulted?
Awesome job! 1st time I've seen you do a repo for the 1st time it was amazing
Thanks!
Report ,my neighbor has his 2019 GMC on report, and he's had it for already 2 yrs,and still out for report, and they still can't find it??
Even without checking the VIN? Seems shady
I have Lookouts that Verify each of my Recoveries before I Arrive to Grab and Go.
Exactly. In this case, the lien holder found the vehicle after it had been being hidden for years. They called us immediately, and I went to grab it.
And your Vehicles have Computers on board and are capable of Tracking the Vehicle. The beauty of Factory installed GPS systems. Tesla Vehicles are the Easiest to Track and Recover.
It must be very intense every time you have to get out and hook it up like that. Just watching this video already got my heart rate up much less actually doing it myself. Every time you looked up, I was imagining a guy is running out with a baseball bat in hand. Glad you were able to complete the job w/o incident.
It’s pretty intense most of the time. Never know what’s going to happen
First time watching your video. Well done and quickly. Keep yourself safe!
Thanks!
Quick question, couldn’t you have dragged it out to the street enough where you can hook it from the front?
I could have, but with the wheels kicked out, it would have went off into the ditch, and I’m liable for the damage that’s caused in doing so. So to stop that from happening, I dollied it.
@@Towtruck_Dustin ahhh ok, makes sense! Good call.
Very stealthy and quiet! Stay safe out there!!!
YEAH ALMOST LIKE A SNAKE IN THE GRASS HUH?
The best way to keep the repo man away is don't stop making your car payments. And if you can't afford payments. Don't buy a car on payments.
Thats a pretty clever idea. Maybe you shld write a book of other useful information. I mean.. that was ground breaking
@@MikeMikeLowrey LMAO! 🤣
You could also park it in a garage and use it for aimless driving, never parking it anywhere else.
wouldn’t weight keep the arm down? if yes, how many pounds or tons?
I was waiting for the owners to come rushing out.
Me too lol when I saw the wheels turned and knew I was going to have to throw Dollies I figured I was busted lol
Hear me out. What if the car was reverse parked with the front wheels turned against the curb and behind it are tall bushes. Are they able to still be able to tow the car?
Good job man. We don’t do repo’s or ppi, but I enjoy watching them being done. Be safe out there.
Appreciate it. You stay safe out there as well.
Repos and ppi aren’t my favorite things to do, I prefer running the flatbed, but I will occasionally go jump in a wheel lift when one is available.
I like the dolly lockers, but not for impounds or repo's.
Doesnt stop the repo guy but it sure makes you have to earn your money with the dollies lol. Stay safe man
All that noise and no one came out
You're a master at your craft! You got another subscriber.
I’ve seen people turn the front wheels when they’re on a level surface and figured this is what these dummies thought. 🤪😬👍
Brother you're a SMOOOOOOTH OPERATOR
That’s a lovely wrecker you have
It’s a Dodge 😢 not very lovely!
