it's literally just a beverage no different than coffee or soda, it would help a lot of people if the idea that it was "cool" to over consume was toned down especially in movies and tv

@@garfsexual6999 I'm not in any official form of rehab or recovery which isn't ideal but I'm still progressing. At my worst I was at a 5th a day but over the course of about 8 months with the help of muay Thai and jiu jitsu I've got my drinking down to just once a week at my bands shows. I've kinda stagnated at this spot for the last couple months and to be honest I'm stuck and confused. I'm doing this without sponsors or support. My friend group is full of drug addicts of all kinds and my band loves to drink so those are obstacles I'm constantly working with. All in all it's coming along pretty well and I appreciate you asking.
Let’s not forget that these “kids” vandalized the property within one day of being there. The dude already admitted to assault and theft. Not having them spray paint animals and damage property doesn’t sound all that unreasonable to me.
I think the “strict parents” that actually talk to them and don’t get angry have the best long-term results with these kids. It’s great to show them that you can rationally work through your problems without getting overly-emotional.

I quit drinking when I started addiction treatment for poly-substance abuse. I have not missed a single day of drug abuse, and I thank the universe every day for my sobriety off illicit drugs and alcohol. Stay awesome man

I agree! I was coke head and alcoholic for almost 10 years but so glad I’ve moved past that before I became 30. I imagine i messed up my health tho but i just used to not care or expect to live to be past this age. Do not recommend that lifestyle for anyone.

Just saying, I wish my parents were more strict. They left me alone 90% of the time so they could go party. I ended up partying myself, to the point where I was addicted to many things and still struggle to this day with some as a 30 year old man. Maybe it would've at least gave me an edge, ultimately it's my choice now to be the man I want to be. No point dwelling on the past, but maybe other parents can learn from my story.
No need to apologize for telling your experience. I'm sorry to hear your parents weren't wholly invested in your upbringing. People can say what they want but how you are raised is very important.

@@average_mouse Yeah attention is important and all, you also have to set boundaries for kids. I was allowed to do whatever I want whenever. I remember chugging a bottle of Jack Daniels in my mom's face before school. She would get mad but wouldn't set or enforce any rules.
I stopped antipsychotics and have been able to remember and process many memories I had repressed. I've advocated for medicating before in comments. But I realize they're a temporary solution

These things make me realise how easy I had it, I was quite the wild child myself, and I honestly can see why these parents react the way they do... I've always been respectful to others and their property, since that's how I got brought up, but I did give my own family a hard time, and I regret that as an adult... I wasn't nearly as bad though, and this happened during puberty, I see this sort of behaviour in younger children these days, which kind of worries me, and I wish parents would take a little more responsibility... Let's just say I'm an experience expert... Might not translate that well from Dutch though... ;)

I mean tbh don't be smoking and drinking illegally whilst vandalising and being cruel to animals isn't much of an ask like for 75% of 16 y/o's that's not even a problem to be thinking about. The fire extinguisher and armed guards was too much but I feel those might have been asked for by producers.

Fire extinguishers actually diminish all oxygen in the air around the spray. Soo I do think it was funny for the video, but that 100% could have killed him
One thing I really appreciate about oompa's vids is I don't have to turn it down every time he does loud things. The volume leveling is amazing. I HATE having to constantly turn down videos be it gets loud. I want my video to stay level.

I live in Australia. There are 6 states (WA, SA, Tas, Vic, NSW, and QLD) and 2 territories (ACT and Northern Territory).
I live in the Foothills North Carolina, and over the past 5 years the mountain lion population has exploded, we even get them down here. Of course I'm sure this show was filmed way before that so you're still right Caleb LOL
Did they impose restrictions in hunting? I know that happened here in Colorado, city folk didn't want as many mt lions being hunted so the population jumped and dogs, hoarses, and even a homeless guy are getting eaten.
@@WillBilly. I think so, I heard they restricted hunting to balance out the eco system which caused a boom in the population. But that's just something I was told after we thought we heard a woman being murdered in the woods behind my friends house in South Carolina. We ran to the edge of the property to investigate, and found a mountain lion dragging away a dead goose. The way they scream is terrifying, something I'll never forget
These are the type of kids who have their fun when their young but eventually life catches up to them and hits a million times harder than any parent ever could.
