This is great news. To be honest you lost me with the offshore stuff. I’m sure it’s popular and people love it. I always loved the accessibility of your earlier content. Getting out and catching a bream with the best gear you can afford is something I could relate to. I’m excited for this new/old direction.
Great work timmy you've come along way from your 100mm polly pipe boats bring on the jack fishing while wating for the pot's to fill with big muddies wishing George a speedy recovery
Big shoutout to George again!! Man I hope you stay booked out forever!!! If I’m ever in the position I’ll order a boat and just pay the freight to get it south. Timmy once again you’ve blown his build out of the park!! Looking forward to seeing this beautiful rig catching you some Tucker.
Keep inshore! Your estuary vids when you first started out was the best. Bream, whiting and flathead, chasing the bread and butter on light gear with lures
Love the build videos you've recorded over the years and watching you grow in knowledge and skill. Still go back to watch pipe dreams and catching jacks.
Great to see you listened to George on the big build he is great teacher and bloke as well a trick is spray the leg with Armorial all nothing sticks to it easy to clean
Love that you're going back to your roots. The inland fresh water fishing was what first brought me to your channel. On a slightly different, yet also related note, your skiff plans, which I downloaded a few years ago, is finally getting built this year.
I've said it before and I will say it again bloody George is a legend... What a man he has a big heart. I hope all goes well with his health. In regards to Timmy well done mate. I've been wanting to do some upgrade on my old Quintrex hornet but have been worried about the cost of aluminium so I guess it will never get done. Look forward to seeing you use this boat. I bet Brett is jealous
Good work Tim. Really looking forward to seeing this thing on the water. Hopefully it will get you back to one vid a week like the good old days. Cheers
Love the boat Timmy! The crab pot holder is a slick idea indeed!!! Although I see how much welding and work went into the rebuild but still a block of wood to raise the motor on the transom…
Nice Timmy! Love the boat build vids. Maybe you could buy neglected old boats and fix into sweet little tinnies like this and flip them. Timmy turtle boat builds
Timmy your back can you start posting more please man love the video. You got to do a trip with briggsy and cavy and the boys again miss them much love ❤❤
Looks like you forgot to put an outboard motor support leg on as well Timmy, it should run from your trailer ( I think I saw the T bracket on the trailer ) up to the leg of the outboard engine when it's tilled up, giving you more clearence. It'll also take some of the weight off and stop it bouncing around on the road, especially those corrugated dirt tracks or in soft sand. Hopefully stop it from putting too much stress on the engine mount or worst case, ripping the engine off if you were to hit a tree stump or rock. Other than that, it came up a treat, you can come and do mine if want next lol.
Awesome vid man, looks like a lot of effort went in but will be well worth it with some cheaper adventures to be had! Good luck out there mate keen to see some crabbing, will be good to see ya in the creeks again!
Regards trailer would add swing away towbar extension for those muddy soft bush ramps. A walkway for retrieving the boat for hooking the winch hook on with those crocs up there. When get money set the spare wheel on a stub axle so if blow wheel bearing can change over quick.
I was worried when you had shoes on to start the video. Glad to see you did your welding with the toes out 😂 Get something we can buy to support you Timmy, love your stuff
Awesome stuff mate, so awesome to see how far you’ve come mate and to build 2 awesome boats is wicked mate you’ve come a very long way man wish you the best mate you motivate me to start my own boat build 🤙🏽
Commenting for the algo while still watching the trailer pull down. Timmy, I dare say you might have had an easier cheaper time to buy a similar boat without a trailer and then just build a trailer to suit. Nonetheless, that’s what project rebuilds are for. Hope this all works out well for you. Small boat like this makes sense for more content and less fuel.
Nah, scratch that, I see how much of the old trailer you re-used. Good budget job. I’ll be interested to see how the paint holds up over penetrol. I would think an etch prime and topcoat would have been better. Also, keep an eye on the new gussets and structural members-doing that stuff is generally good, but it does move the weakest link to a new place. Still watching and commenting…
Nice build mate. Was going to play a drinking game every time you say the word "smick" do a shot but it's only lunchtime here in Northern Ireland and I've got things to do today so can't get blackout drunk hahaha. Also pass on my best wishes to George hope he recovers soon from the surgery.
I'm very impressed. Have you considered working for George or restoring old tinnies? You're quite skilled at this. I definitely love these builds. Cheers!
Timmy, sick build. But you'll probably want to put something to hold the crab pots like a bungee or something if they come a bit loose and get caught under that lip on the hatch you'll have a hell of a time getting it open
Just fyi, whoever sold it to you knew that crack was there the winch post had been moved over it. You could see the marks from where it used to be. Your a good man paying 2.5k for that i wouldnt have paid $1000.
Timmy, wear gloves when applying penetrol. Just take a second and really think about your future mate, if it penetrates metal it's definitely penetrating your dermis. Love the content broskie
I run two channels all my videos have gone on the other channel. Sponsors don’t pay you I make less then minimum wage and it cost me 20k to run the boat last year. in the last 3 months where I have been living has copped 2.7m of rain. 73 raining days out of 91
Timmy, crimp fittings coming undone, alarm bells ringing mate, last thing you need is loose sparks, especially in a bilge area, please check all your crimps, if done properly they should never ever come undone! Enjoy your new boat.
That accessory wire is thinner then the rest that’s why I mentioned I was going to put the two yellows together when I redo it. Was in a rush and had done them separately at the time.
Timmy, you are killing it this build is impressive. Am not sure if anyone has asked as there are so many comments but how do you go with weights and load distribution, is this something you just know or is it all pre- planned?
Hey Timmy, great work. You've come a long way from the old plywood down pipe setup 👍. Would you mind me asking what type of welder you were using for the Ally work? Was it the same welder you used on the trailer? Cheers in advance. Awesome work again.
This is great news. To be honest you lost me with the offshore stuff. I’m sure it’s popular and people love it. I always loved the accessibility of your earlier content. Getting out and catching a bream with the best gear you can afford is something I could relate to. I’m excited for this new/old direction.
I agree not so keen on the deep offshore stuff
Here here!
Funny eh , cause offshore is why I watch Timmy. What I’ve learnt from this video is his ability to visualise the potential of an old tinny.
I agree!
Nice job on the old girl....just bought an old tinny and you have given me some great ideas. Cheers Paul from Melbourne
I was just re watching the boat build series with George and all of a sudden this pops up. How good!
Hahaha me too
Same
I'm here for Timmy Turtle, whether is inshore, offshore or on land. You will always have my support.
Great work timmy you've come along way from your 100mm polly pipe boats bring on the jack fishing while wating for the pot's to fill with big muddies wishing George a speedy recovery

Who doesn’t love a tinny n trailer rebuild!!!! Hell yeah brother!🙌🏴☠️🌻🎣
I know I do!
Unreal little build mate. A lot of thought got into it, looking forward to seeing the content from the new boat!
I used to own a sea hunter 3.7, great stable boat with high sides 🤙
Great to see you listened to George on the big build he is great teacher and bloke as well a trick is spray the leg with Armorial all nothing sticks to it easy to clean
Love that you're going back to your roots. The inland fresh water fishing was what first brought me to your channel. On a slightly different, yet also related note, your skiff plans, which I downloaded a few years ago, is finally getting built this year.
Hey I would like to get those skiff schematics .
@mojokurk1637 All I need is an email and I'll send them to you. Well, I'll send them as long as it's OK with Timmy.
Somehow my replies aren't going through. All I need is an email address and Timmy's blessing and I'll send those plans to you.
It’s alright with me. They are in the description of the video I gave the boat away. Free for anyone to download 👍
I absolutely enjoyed watching this video Timmy.
You done a really nice build mate👌
Really enjoyed this episode. A huge effort to get all that work done, credit to you for giving everything a go.
Nice build bud , great idea on the crab pots , might have to put in some hours with samauri boats to get a new motor , cheers for the vids
I've said it before and I will say it again bloody George is a legend...
What a man he has a big heart.
I hope all goes well with his health.
In regards to Timmy well done mate.

Love the boat Timmy! The crab pot holder is a slick idea indeed!!!
Although I see how much welding and work went into the rebuild but still a block of wood to raise the motor on the transom…
God bless George. The world needs more people like him.
Dead set what an absolute weapon of a rig. I’d be so stoked with the outcome 🤙🏼🍻

Reminds me when I was watching you figuring out how to strap those pvc pipes to that sheet of plywood. Ha ha . Thanks Timmy.. Always .
Timmy your back can you start posting more please man love the video. You got to do a trip with briggsy and cavy and the boys again miss them much love ❤❤
My mate just got a boat like this, in similar condition probs a little better so this will help a lot thanks for the help.
Massively inspirational series of videos you put out! Thanks so much for the content.
Had a Sea Hunter 3.2m as a kid with a 9.8 Merc. Great little boats. The cancer got it in the end, 35 years later.
Queensland, boats, water and 1/2 dingo camp dog. Almost as good as NT 😀 Great project mate !
After all these years, please bring back the og Timmy turtle on his little skiff chasing jacks 🙏 much love bro
Great job mate, it's come a long way from the day we picked it up. Still can't believe you made it home with that dodgy draw bar. 😂
Im loving this content hopefully The Captain Magazine will do a video article on your builds soon.
Mammoth effort well done. Might see you out around the channel sometime. Bring on the cooler weather!

In the near future I want to do a project like this and hopefully will get a better idea if it is viable for me through watching your progress
Nice work mate this is exactly what i have been planning on doing definitely some inspiration to pull my finger out
How can we buy George a beer? Maybe you should start Timmy Tinney boat company.
Well done that tinny looks wicked now
Drawbar bolts make a alloy sleeve for em on the inside of draw bar crush tubes mate trailer looks solid 👌
Awesome looking boat !!! Would be great with a 60hp , you have done a fantastic job
You should do a little go fund me bro so we can get more content from ya! I would be happy to send some dollars
I was worried when you had shoes on to start the video.
Glad to see you did your welding with the toes out 😂
Get something we can buy to support you Timmy, love your stuff
All this makes me won’t to move to Australia !😅
I had the opposite reaction! Was worried he was still welding with flip-flops when steel is so much hotter.
Timmy turtle returns at last, looking forward to seeing you out there on the water 🤙
Awesome stuff mate, so awesome to see how far you’ve come mate and to build 2 awesome boats is wicked mate you’ve come a very long way man wish you the best mate you motivate me to start my own boat build 🤙🏽

I'm very impressed. Have you considered working for George or restoring old tinnies? You're quite skilled at this. I definitely love these builds. Cheers!
Good work. I was hoping you would put a live well in it. Maybe next build.
Love this kinda stuff mate 👌 👏
Awesome bro great job mate , you’ve been missed 🤙
Looks good man just finish my inshore boat feels good 👍
Timmy, sick build. But you'll probably want to put something to hold the crab pots like a bungee or something if they come a bit loose and get caught under that lip on the hatch you'll have a hell of a time getting it open
I welded a plate in there as a stopper that the grab pots slide up and down on so they don’t get caught on the lip 👌 forgot to film it
@FishingWithTimmyTurtle love your work mate
Great inspirational vid mate, love ya work. Keep it up.
Great video mate. Well done
Love your work Timmy
Heaps keen to see this finished
Just fyi, whoever sold it to you knew that crack was there the winch post had been moved over it. You could see the marks from where it used to be. Your a good man paying 2.5k for that i wouldnt have paid $1000.
Timmy, wear gloves when applying penetrol. Just take a second and really think about your future mate, if it penetrates metal it's definitely penetrating your dermis. Love the content broskie
Nice work Tim great video
You can see where the oringinal u-bolts were on the drawbar before being moved to hold that crack together.
Safety chain might be a nifty idea
for the skids. a heatgun make them look new
This tinny build is awesome.
Awesome vid mate thanks for taking the time to dick around with cameras and film it all 👍👍🍻
Awesome build!
Love your channel Timmy
Just 2 video,s in 9 monds, but blaming the gas price and rain. You have some good sponsors to keep you alive. Working sucks hey.
I run two channels all my videos have gone on the other channel. Sponsors don’t pay you I make less then minimum wage and it cost me 20k to run the boat last year. in the last 3 months where I have been living has copped 2.7m of rain. 73 raining days out of 91
@@FishingWithTimmyTurtlegood to see you back Tim, well done.👍
Nice build mate!
Amazing work awesome job 👋👍🥰🤗
Great episode
Timmy, crimp fittings coming undone, alarm bells ringing mate, last thing you need is loose sparks, especially in a bilge area, please check all your crimps, if done properly they should never ever come undone!
Enjoy your new boat.
That accessory wire is thinner then the rest that’s why I mentioned I was going to put the two yellows together when I redo it. Was in a rush and had done them separately at the time.
2mm steel on the trailer how much is left and how much rust inside ya can't see, probably a Chinese trailer, sometimes it's better just to start over
FMD you could sink the titanic with this thing!! 😂
Timmy, you are killing it this build is impressive. Am not sure if anyone has asked as there are so many comments but how do you go with weights and load distribution, is this something you just know or is it all pre- planned?
Timmy could you please give me the place you get the foam from as I need to replace the foam in my boat.
Hey Timmy, great work. You've come a long way from the old plywood down pipe setup 👍. Would you mind me asking what type of welder you were using for the Ally work? Was it the same welder you used on the trailer?
Cheers in advance.
Awesome work again.
Great job turtle boy
Stopped watching your channel to be honest. Looks like I am back (not into offshore fishing).
Best design friends

Slow but steady.
