Brand new truck. No way would I spend 40% that much for ANY 04 truck!
I just got rid of the same truck last year but in a 99 first year. Black 4.8 4x4 shortbed in black. Best vehicle I've ever owned. Had to do knock sensors and a fuel pump in the 80k miles that I owned it. Pa salt started getting into the frame at 184k. Sold it still running fine but miss it everyday. 4.8 are great engines too. They take boost better than the 5.3 because of the flat top pistons. Great truck
It's neat but I will argue with you about the pricing. During Covid, absolutely they would get close to that price. Now? no way. There have been clean southern examples fetching under 10k around me (and im in the Midwest). I found an extremely clean example with some surface rust on the frame for $6500 out in the boonies where the salt trucks dont go.

There are prefabricated rocker panel kits available to fix the rust issues. Worth body shop work - great trucks. Have a full repaint after rust adressed. Use Fluid Film after body work to prevent future rust issues. Parts readily available.
I don't think the wheels are stolen. I'm running honeycombs on both my 04 Silverado and my wife's 05 Escalade. The smooth center cap is indicative of an aftermarket knock off wheel. There are quite a few companies selling reproductions.
The wheels on this truck are called snowflakes.. Every douche bag from 17 to 25 with a junk pos truck has a set in my town.. And they all think their truck is bad ass.. Every one of them have straight pipes that sound even worse than the truck looks..
It's not all that bad. I have an 02 Z 71 Silverado I call Big Red. It's had a much rougher life than that one. Originally it belonged to a fire department in Central Missouri, then it belonged to a guy who cut wood for a living, then the maintenance man where I worked bought it as a work truck on the job and for his construction job. Big Red has worked very very hard. Fortunately the owners before me kept up the maintenance fairly well. It had a lot of items needing repair when I got it. Everything has been addressed at this point. Mechanically Big Red is perfect. Cosmetically, rough, rusty, every panel is dented, scratched, or both. It has 325,000 miles, runs and drives perfectly, no warning lights. I'd say you could drive across country without a worry. I love my old truck.
The dent by the driver window is NOT knuckles, knuckle dents are aligned in a slight curve. Those are dents from brass knuckles, aligned straight, same depth, brass knuckles. That car was attacked, and was likely reported in/ associated with a crime in the state you bought it from. Just got to Grimes. He's right about the felonies, good eye. Why you think it was so cheap, owner needed to dump it.
I'm out here working, dropping gasoline. The lot next to me has several cat eye Chevy trucks. I thought it was odd that you'd say they were rare... but then i realized that im looking at the parking lot of a transmission shop lol
Daniel San looks like he would love to have this truck, I could bet money that we will have some videos of him driving that truck, doing something cool, like donuts or burnouts. I would love to have money and drive a truck like that.

Rims look stolen and owner has anger issues. Implied by the border and other white guy was scared if the location he was at. Seems like normal racist behavior,no wonder you enjoyed it. Just say it was bought from a paisa and move on. Instead they attempt to make digs every chance they get." Well they hauled something, that's for sure" just stop racist.
You'll have a TON of content...and I'll be here for it!
Hoovie's addition to the intro had me in stitches. You guys are great!
Love this tandem tour 🤣🤣 specially when Hoovie got to the bullet holes 😂😂😂
The most impressive part of the whole video is TCW and all his techs did not know the procedure for removing an interior door panel😂
If hoovie thinks those spikes are dangerous he should come down to Texas and see some cars with swingers on it
Whoa whoa u keep all that Utah stuff in Utah! Pal!
What are swingers? I'd Google it but I'm guessing if I searched for "car swingers" I'd get some very interesting results...
Swangin an bangin!
nothing to be proud of
With a little mustard n mayo!
I'm out here working, dropping gasoline. The lot next to me has several cat eye Chevy trucks. I thought it was odd that you'd say they were rare... but then i realized that im looking at the parking lot of a transmission shop lol
I'm guessing that Hoovie dented the roof? 😅
I dig it. Roll pan single cab short beds are amazing. This is the perfect shop truck.
Daniel San looks like he would love to have this truck, I could bet money that we will have some videos of him driving that truck, doing something cool, like donuts or burnouts. I would love to have money and drive a truck like that.
Great buy! bought my self short bed single cab couple months ago also in black. Great aftermarket support fun fast trucks
Edgar must have had a good time with the Chevy 💀
Nice truck for the channel, looking forward to upcoming videos . Put a 5.3 in with tow rear, it will fly. I know, because I had one in a 2-wheel drive back in 2012.
Rather have the 72!
