Can we stop to appreciate how far Sportsball has gone since 2017? From a simple shitposting ramblings to a professional looking shitposting analysis. Tip of the hat to ya, Tree. Keep it up.
I looked at his past Sportsball videos - even the tone of his voice when doing these videos have changed; before, it sounded like he didn’t give much of a damn and was mostly lampooning - now, you may as well make him a proper analyst with actual humor.
Even WITH that great line I still think he showed too much mercy on my Cowboys. I was expected to get torn to shreds and deservedly so... When was the last time a 14 point underdog won an NFL game?
@@mason.11 I'm reading that last year, the Panthers beat the Bucs as 13-point underdogs; Arizona were 11.5 underdogs on Sunday. The biggest upset in recent years came in 2020; the 0-13 Jets beat the Rams as 17.5 underdogs. Their reward was drafting Zach Wilson second overall.
I stopped watching the NFL in '14. I returned last year because of Tree & a few others like him as well as some analytical ones. Quotes like that make it all SO much better.
It could be worse. Texans have 4 starting offensive linemen still out with injuries, yet still decided to flex their ownership over the Jaguars... And now that crazy temptress Hope from SEC Shorts has decided to go pro & cast her spell on our fickle Houston fandom. I'm not sure if we can handle that.
In one year, UTrees graphics quality will for real be on par with major TV stations. The "original" 2023 intro was great, but this one. Man, I am really impressed. I just hope Tank Bowls are going to stay the same.

You have to love it when Tree starts speaking calmly before dropping F-bombs. "So, Jacksonville, will you explain to us what the f--k is wrong with your offence?" It's vintage potty-mouthed Tree at his best.
NFL week isn't over until hearing "The culture is actually damn good" "That's not what he wanted to cook!" And last but not least: "I'M CALLING BOTH GAMES"
"What happens when Plan A breaks apart in the first charge and you have no Plan B? Well, you get morning sickness and endless regrets." Underrated line there.
Loving the new intro! I liked the one you started the season with, but truthfully I think this one suits Sportsball better; it's like a hall of fame/infamy for the iconic (memetic?) clips of the season thus far.
You know I was waiting to hear what the commentary was gonna be for the Miami V Denver game. I knew it was over the moment I heard the Hotline Miami OST.
That Colts line about taking the game in a truck in the middle of the night is a crazy Easter egg. Context there Colts used to play in Baltimore and famously left overnight without telling anyone
Forget lLolcow of the Week, the Broncos' performance this week is a top contender for Lolcow of the Year. Depending on what happens during the rest of the season, but I don't know if anything can top giving up 70 points and 700+ offensive yards in a single game.
thank you tree for making my morning. always look forward to these videos! they inspired me to make weekly fantasy football meme videos for one of my leagues that are similar to your style. thank you!!!

"McCarthyism doesn't do well against Red Scares," that's brilliant. 😂
Glad I'm not the only one who caught that 😁

“I haven’t seen horses get slaughtered this badly since WW1!” Absolutely fantastic quote!!
I'll forgive Tree for not giving props to Mike "F--king White." After all, he had a perfect QB rating as the Dolphins backup.

A lot of horses were slaughtered in WW2 too
The NFL week doesn’t end until we hear“I’m calling both games!”
Then week one didn’t end until week two ended.
It was a long week
@@fortynights1513 Considering how half the teams played, exactly.

Full tanks ahead!
Could have one of greatest tank bowl to watch this Sunday can't wait
Let’s go bears tank !!
The Cardinals didn't follow the script, but they did their duty to America by shutting up Cowboys fans for a week.
Tree’s having some more variety in the introductions. Awesomeness.
Edit: thank you for the rare compliment for my Giants, Tree.
So much better than Barry tbh
He's talking to America here. 😂
@MattttMan Barry has been very cynical of other teams and I think it has something to do with the eagles being good
I'm a Lions fan living in KC.
This city's hatred of the color blue is at an all-time high. Swifties are everywhere.

Taylor Swift is the most annoying thing to happen to Football since the latest DPI rules.
@chipwhitley Say what you want, but honestly, I'd rather have more of her than to hear from Brittney Mahomes and company.
"I'm calling both games!" Another week of Sportsball goodness!
It wouldn't be "This Week In Sportsball" without those signature four words.

Yawn. Talk about something else.
"Waiting for the underachieving son in his mid-twenties to do something with his life."
