This week had it all: Blowouts, regrettable signings, a Tank Bowl! The only way to pay tribute to it with endless rambling. Now to rest until the NFL consumes us whole again, probably with marketing to Swifties.
Chicago is 0-4, and I’m surprised that the fans haven’t pressured Aaron Rodgers to sell the team yet.
Trust me, we've been wanting the McCaskeys to sell the team for over a decade now. If Eberflus is fired, it would be the first time in Bears history that they fired a coach mid season.
@@MFBlooshThe Bears as a franchise seem like they never really let go of the George Halas era. Personnel management, coaching style, all of it just reeks of the '60s ball that pretty much every other team has long since given up on.

the Bills going Scorched Earth and the Lions upgrading from chewing knees to out right eating their prey is just awesome.
The Lions are just so refreshing, honestly. We normally feel so sorry for their fans and players, but Dan Campbell has them fighting and even dominating in a few instances.
The Lions are upgrading from eating sinew, gristle, and anything they can get to MEAT.
As much as I love watching Barry McCockiner, FivePointsVids, and ThatsGoodSports weekly vids, UTree just does these weekly breakdowns so well 🤣 the editing, the sound effects, the injury prayer, everything just work so well.
All of them are entertaining but nobody will ever top sportsball
Perna is gold but Tree is S Tier triple platinum.

What I learned:
- Mark Davis destroyed the Raiders
- Justin Fields was right
- Referees gamble on games
- Zach Wilson actually looked okay
Also: apparently the scriptwriters this year are Swifties.
Also it was very classy of the Broncos to make Justin Fields look like Jalen Hurts for 3 quarters.
You have to give Matt Stafford credit - that dude is tough as fucking nails. He took some serious beatings in Detroit and played through a lot of it, including broken bones in his back, among other things. He's almost 36 years old and STILL doing it, too. I hate that he beat my Bengals in the Super Bowl two years ago but man, it's hard to not admire him.
I'm not the biggest fan of the Detroit Lions or Los Angeles Rams. But Matthew Stafford doesn't get more credit than he rightfully deserves.
Stafford is and always has been the toughest SOB under centre.
The funniest part is that the Lions drafted Matthew Stafford to break the curse of Bobby Layne (not only did he go to and play at the same high school as Bobby Layne, but he lived on the same street as Bobby Layne), yet he *STILL* sucked to the point of being traded. And what did he so when he got traded?
You guessed it, *HE WON THE FUCKING SUPER BOWL!*

Glad the refball was addressed in the Chiefs-Jets recap. Being a fan of the chiefs when we get unfair calls in our favor sucks because I hate seeing wins feel fake or flat when I know they have the talent and ingenuity to win games without these calls. It just sucks, I just hope this isn't going to be a staple of the Mahomes era because that will just make it feel shitty to be a fan

Sam Howell is seriously that good. That was his 5th start and he looked incredible this game. His only bad game was against Buffalo in his 4th start. Sam has been a breath of fresh air in Washington and the fanns are starting feel it.
I've been talking cold hard cash, I can't believe we lost. I'm not taking anything back about Sam but Rivera should be lol cow of the week.

So much satisfaction watching last Thursday's beatdown, nothing brings me more joy than seeing the Cheeseheads get grated like that. And the Lions asserting themselves as a real threat is an added bonus. The fact our schedule is pretty favourable for a while is giving me a lot of hope for how far this team really can go.

The suprise win of the week, The Ravens managed to go a game without a major injury or losing a player for the season.
I'd like to put my hand up to be the Broncos next defensive coordinator. Sure, I've never played NFL football, or touched a football, or even been to a game. But I have played a few games of Madden. And I can't do worse than whoever is sleeping off their hangovers in the Broncos defence training room.
