Seeing Mark in costume, with Grogu is so heartwarming.
The scene Mark holding Grogu brings tears to my eyes! So Epic!
Directors should be true fans of a franchise before creating a film so people won’t be disappointed and be overwhelmed after watching the movie. You can see how Dave and Jon so passionate about making it compare to JJ and Rian who claimed to be SW fans but when they were interviewed them it’s like they don’t know what to do with it.

Its awesome to see Mark back in the robes. At first i thought his acting was a bit off but then i realized its because he cannot help but play an older, wiser luke more befitting his age. When you look in his eyes you can see the experience he lends the character, but it wouldn't fit the character in this time frame. I just wish we'd seen more of it in the sequel trilogy.
Pretty sure they dubbed the voice over. It would be weird to have 30 year old Luke speaking in 70 year old Luke's voice. If you see Mark's in his other roles, he's always a lot more emotive.
@@ThisHandleSystemCanGetNicked they actually used AI to recreate the voice. Thats what Favreau said in the documentary
@@terragthegreat175 Yeah I saw that and it freaked me the hell out. I don't know why they wouldn't just use an actor. It sounded so monotone and boring.

First and foremost, they are fans just like us...and what must John and Dave have felt the first time Mark walked out as Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight.

Disney and Lucasfilm both need to capitalize on the Luke + Grogu popularity if they want to make money off of Star Wars again. Both are the icons for their era of Star Wars. Right now Disney needs to make as much money off of Star Wars as it can.

The cgi was not touched up to not leak that they had luke take grogu let alone getting mark to actually play the role
