Hey TJ! This has been on my watch later list since last winter lol. I am looking forward to ice fishing. Fall is arriving and ice wont be far behind. I sure hope slush isnt an issue like it was last season. It was rough! Fun fact today is September 1st but less than 4 months ago (May 3rd) I was fishing on ice!!! I know LOTW has Lakers but never thought of Sioux Narrows as a lake trout destination lol. I am still learning them myself. Cheers and tight lines!
It is a great area to target lakers! They are easily my favorite fish to target through the ice. I agree that I hope the slush isn’t nasty like last year - I actually bought a new snowmobile for this year because of this trip! Haha needed something with a little more juice!

Haha no worries! I mostly used the black reign by JT. I have started using the laker pro from iron range custom rods and have loved it!
What topo map do u use? Can’t find a good one like that
This is a lakemaster chip in a Humminbird helix. Their maps for a lot of the lakes I fish are awesome!
