Luke Stoltman makes it so easy....and he doing shruggs and saying after lifting log makes it a Luke signatures style..... So amazing to watch it...and yes even other athletes are ❤️❤️❤️ ...... Strong and humble Gentleman for sure....
I remember when big Z Just used to make everyone else look ridiculous when it came to this
There is a reason why he hasn’t won anything way to cocky, gives himself bad luck with the yawning, this is a world class competition leave that shit in high school
@@josephbuccoleri3814 you mean like Mariusz used to?
Luke is humble in comparison
@@josephbuccoleri3814 There's a difference between being cocky and being arrogant.
@@josephbuccoleri3814 it's not that it's because Luke could only do Strongman part time due to his work on the oil rigs, it wasn't until Tom started making his way up the Strongman top places that he took it full time, so really that holds Luke back because of his age so Luke is more or less just enjoying it and doing the best he physically can and go as high up as he can and support Tom, even if he doesn't succeed, he is happiest when Tom succeeds
Please show all the events like this. Showing all the competitor lifts with no cuts. Thank you!
You can do it WSM!!!!
Bobby decided he was going to either be worthy of valhalla or go there immediately.
RPE 10
Did you see him strict press his first log?
Hahahaha 😂😂😂
That is what 101% effort actually looks like... failing unconscious. Amazing effort Bobby Thompson, same for Maxime.
What I love about Bobby is that he gives a 100% straight balls to the wall no matter the consequences
This is the most impressive video this channel ever made. This is what we want. Thank you so much!!!
2nd that
3rd that
4th that
5th that
6th that
Very simple format
One upload
Doesn't require the viewer to watch loads of short videos.
This kind of video was an absolute treat! I do love Colins and Dannys commentary, but every WSM should have a "raw footage" of the competition. VERY NICE!
This is great, these types of videos are what the big fans want. It shows all of the athletes the respect they deserve by showing all their attempts instead of just getting a talked over vignette during the TV broadcast.
Hope all others events are released as well. Watching the whole final condensed into 40 minutes was very, very unsatisfying
Agreed
19:55 That effort by Bobby. Fighting with that log...
Just like your mum last night...
670 Kcal
I was really disappointed in the way that the log press was portrayed in the televised version, so thanks for uploading the whole event. But man, I really wish y'all would upload every event like this. It's infinitely better than the little clips we get now
I think all fans agree with this. Have the televised edited show, let the buggers watch it during X Mas. Then release the full footage on YT sometime later...layer... get SO MANY MORE EYES WATCHING YOUR PRODUCT!!!!
@@michaelholder98 US version had it worse tho they completely cut the log off and moved straight onto the Deadlift
Maxime really maxed out on 205..talk about commitment..almost past out..he just wanted that lift..on 16:05
My favourite lift of the day!!
That also was a Canada record. Most weight a Canadian has pressed overhead (205 kg / 452 lbs). He was the record holder before that too.
CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE SUPPORT HIS WIFE SHOWED THO. queen.
@@allwack Also a competitive Strongwomen, they live and breathe the sport
Amazing Brian Shaw is still getting podium finishes after so long. Incredible athlete
Now that's what I'm talking about! Keep it coming , please!
This is what a video should be like! Awesome!
This makes me respect Z even more. He pushed this weight so easily for so many years.
To be fair, Luke looked easy on his lifts as well. Definitely a class apart here but Big Z rightly remains the king of this event.
@@stevendavies417 To be fair. Luke lifted a 228.5kg log. The same as Z's world record.
@@nicholasstafford8288 That's right. He's a great log-lifter. Savickas had that longevity in the event so I would say he's still the best, but Luke could yet surpass him.
@@stevendavies417 I think Z's spot is secure as the greatest log lifter ever.
@@nicholasstafford8288 But Big Z did it during competition, Luke tryed hard and got full focus on breaking the WR and he failed.
I remember Big Z said he was able to do 240 when he was in best shape, but we won't see it yet
im impressed by Maxime Boudreault ! didnt expect that on his first show !! Great addition to the Canadian strongman
It’s insane to think that Zydrunas was able to rep a 450lb log 🪵 (Austrian Oak) 👑
Great video. Finally we get to see every lift!
Luke is top 3 best ever on the log much respect to him 🔥❤🏴
Everyone talks about Tom and rightly so, but Luke is insanely strong, too. That was only 13kg from the record held by none other than the goat Žydrūnas Savickas.
I just love how the announcer calls him beautiful Bobby Thompson and no one bats an eye
bobby and maxime fought so so hard! loved it but it was scary
You could do this simple edits without commentary and sell them for us hardcore fans who want to see every performance, just like Brian Shaw does with the Shaw Classic
Awesomeness. In the future just stream the competition live thru these cameras and the whole world except Great Britain (Loz & Liz will) will pay the fee and tune in.
This is the video style we want! Less editing, more lifts - thanks! :-)
Thanks for posting the whole event. This is what the fans want!
Brian's 195 was hyped man!
That was awesome, but man if he had gotten 205kg then he would’ve been right there for taking the win. Or 1 more rep on the deadlift. Could’ve been his year
He missed this in 2015 when he won his 3rd, big moment for sure
This goes to show you how impressive Larry Wheels is. After he trained log-press for the first time in his life with Thor for 2 weeks, he did a personal best of 209kg, matching Thor at the 2019 Log Press World Championships; that's better than most Strongmen's personal bests, including Shaw who is much bigger and has trained log for over a decade. 😳
@@Asiansxsymbol Larry’s pressing power is insane while it’s always been a bit of a weakness for Brian. I wish we could see him do more strongman. Unfortunately, he’s very injury prone
Expecting more videos like this
Man the further you go the more incredible it is!
You're gonna wanna be at the 2022 event in person.... details soon on theworldsstrongestman.com.
MORE OF THIS PLEASE!!
Yess! I wish there would be a full-length extended version of the competition. Where one could se everything of every event :)
You're in luck. Starts next week. Subscribe to the channel!
This is awesome. World's Strongest Man Director's Cut when?
not a bad idea...
Bobby Thompson. What a beast.
What a beast Bobby Thompson is, talk about giving everything. Much respect to all the guys that do this every year, multiple times a year.
The highland Oak!!! Luke Stoltman!!!!!!!!
This is more like it! Post more like this 👏
This is so much better than the edited commentary stuff.
Just give us the damn 21 final already!!!!!!
Awesome video, beautifully edited summary of the event ❤️💪
Love how the strongman fans and crowd cheer louder for the effort rather than the weight.
I'm to the point that I no longer have a favorite Strongman. I love this sport so much and all the competitors that I just root for all of them!
I understand Brian's disappointment about not getting the 205kg lift, in one of his videos he said if he had gotten that lift, he would have won wsm that year
15:29 I hate it when they switch cameras during a lift. It's so annoying
Well it didn't bother me at all, untill I read your comment. Now it's all I see. You do miss out on the drive through the legs though.
I’m super sad this wasn’t advertised more I didn’t even know this was going on, thanks for videos guys
It's crazy seeing how massive these guys are against the average sized person in the crowd. And so strong 💪
That was awesome I seen it in person
14:10 it’s not all that often but I love seeing Brian yelling after a successful lift
Bobby Thompson is a warrior.
Man, Maxine's lift at 16:30 and Luke's at 21:00 where unreal.
That was a Canadian record too. Most weight a Canadian has pressed overhead (205 kg / 452 lbs). He was the record holder before that too.
great video!
Do we know why there isn't a proper edit for the 2021 final?
Thanks, just subscribed 🙏💛
Thank you!!!!
@@theworldsstrongestman I've had 2 horrible days, very deeply horrible, you helped me a lot with your videos, so i must thank you 😊💛🙏🤗
This is great thank you :D
Can you do a similar video of the Max Log from WSM 2015?
Agree with the rest of the comments saying this is the best formatted WSM video to date. Maybe they are learning.
16:58 kid on the right with Jon Pall shirt.. legend
Luke’s a beast.
Dear WSM - Thank you for this. I've been dying for months and months to watch the full 2021 Heats and Final...may you please inform us when you plan to release this footage on YT for us all to enjoy?!
I'm in the USA and I've tried subscribing to your website multiple times and none of my credit or debit cards will work on your platform...Makes me sick.
We are all amped up for 2022 WSM and i and many others still haven't seen the 2021 comp!!
I understand it's free on YT...but man if you released the full 2021 show in the next month or two, you'd get 10s of thousands or casual/new eyes watching it and the popularity of WSM and the sport in general would just keep skyrocketing up and up and would be a GREAT way to promote and heat up for the upcoming 2022 WSM in late May!!!
Please...I need my 2021 fix!!
A Diehard Strongman Fan,
Marine Mike 🇺🇸
When it comes to a Log lift record I can't see anyone breaking other than Luke or Iron Biby, but Luke made this look absolutely easy right now on consistency he is greatest log lifter in the world right now
17:01 JF looking like a damn super hero 😂
All these dudes are something else.... and to go and try so hard you're knockin on hells doorframe... thats unreal.
I think the craziest thing about this event is the fact that Tom made 185 look so easy then failed 195. He practically strict pressed 185. Also I was weirded out by there not being commentary and it took me a minute to realize why.
Probs balance, outside in the heat with the sun in your eyes
@@vincentchao9916 absolutely, log pressing outside sucks for that reason. that or the heat that day, I think it was about 110 degrees.
They perform other lifts as well apart from log lift on the same day… still larry is a beast
Que le meilleur gagne... Respect !!!
Bobby 🤯🤯
Good to see WSM moving into the noughties. Lol
Live streaming each event like Rogue and the Arnold Classic Strongman shows do would bring WSM into the 2020s.
Release the full final already
Respect to the dudes up front catching max and almost catching bobby
Impressive Luke
6:57 someone in the crowd yelling "Light weight babayyyy" which explains why Tom won.
Is there a full video of the final or do we have to watch a few different videos
Finally, an on-screen chyron with weights in Lbs and Kg.
Is there a full video of 2021 final
Gotta love all that trash talking disguised as cheering/encouragement heard in the background😂
This is great
What a fucking effort by Maxine
Dude is a beast. Representing my hometown.
How heavy is it
The more i see Trex the more I like him!
Luke is a monster wow
respect
Upload the entire competition please. Or at least sell a dvd of it.
Luke Stoltman: "Are you not entertained!"
"Is it not why you are here!"
Luke. Tom 👍 👍
I know the results but its like I'm watching it for the first time!
Ooooh man I hope Luke wins 2022
It really surprises me brian isn't better at the log, he's like the biggest guy in strongman, you'd think he'd easily be the best at for max events
Bobby!!
The roar from Brian Shaw at 195kg was raw power!!
Brain was going rip some heads off after that 195kg
Luke 👍👍🏋♂️🏋♂️💯💯🏆🏆
I thought the WR was round 215kg. The winner came out here and made it look easy
Nice! I wonder if anyone ever will beat Big Z's record of 4 reps with 205 kg...
This commentator's overuse of "Let's hear it for" is right up there with Loz's "The one, the only"
Or give it up for
Shaw made 195kg look easier than anyone else besides Luke, I was so bummed that he missed 205...
Trey Mitchell looks like the love child of Eddie Hall & Hafthor.
AND THE SBD 2021 WSM WINNER ZYDRUNAS SAVICKAS
OMG....this is dangerous, brutal and primitive..............love it😍👍
Yeah, it just shows that doing wsm at 40 degrees celsius is a bad idea.
U people watch this now, look closely around the crowd. I might be over exaggerating, but it looks like close to 50% of fans are wearing Shaw Strength gear
why Caron was not on R4?
Matheuz kielizskowski would have murdered everybody on this one
kieliszkowski hasn't even lifted more than Graham hicks ffs
