    That couldn’t have been uglier by me 😅 I’m learning. This was the definition of trying to do WAY too much.

    For a man with such low body weight to win a bus pull is insane. Shows such incredible drive and technique from Oleksii, he only has 1 WSM win so far but he is arguably the best and most consistent strongman in this new era

      A decade ago it was a common sight. Maybe the endurance aspect of it allows lighter competitors to perform at top rpm longer

    One of the lightes pulls in the last years based on the easy start. Lot of guys with not the best techniq. Wondeirng why Shaw was not on the top. In his prime time he was one of the best. Novikov was just insanse, he wanted it at most.

    I'm really interested to see what Hooper can pull off in 2023. He had a really respectable time here despite his form looking pretty all over the place, as I believe it was basically his first time ever doing it.

      @@cristiangamboa2037 I think if he comes in like he has basically every show SINCE world's he could win this year. I'm a big Tom stoltman fan but Mitch has been an absolute monster his rookie year

  • @glenanderson6164
    @glenanderson6164 Год назад +5

    Man you look at the bus and think dam that’s going to be hard, but all these guys just crushed it! Sure it required heaps of exertion but they all finished it in 50 seconds or less basically which is very impressive considering some of the airplane pulls of recent years none of the guys finished it (peak Thor, Shaw etc. included)

    • @again5162
      @again5162 Год назад +1

      It's on a different level, hardest part is definitely getting initial momentum

    • @japanesecar1501
      @japanesecar1501 Год назад +1

      The unfinished plane pulls were universal(right?) , and are due to the inclined ends of the route, where nobody finishes, like Pfisters bus pull in 2006. Pulling 200 some, maybe close to 300 kg, is different than suddenly needing to pull 400, 500,700,800 kg to finish, maybe more for the last part, where only a torqy vehicle could do so, hence the small difference in distance between the top and bottom guys.

    The man taking in the slack rope obviously has his favourites , check the difference between novikov or licis and stoltman, hes helping pull then leaving it slack as hell, it should be consistent , I wouldnt be surprised if that made a big difference
