Eythor is a super hard worker and always fun to watch even when he doesn't make the podium. It'd be great to see him get a win at the Magnus Ver Magnusson Classic some day.
He just runs down the street with 1000 lbs on his traps/shoulders. Literally. He was moving so fast the super yoke slid just over 5 feet to come to a stop....
@@Iconyk1 I wouldn't say he cheated. He was obviously trying his best, with the urgency against the clock, but just didn't quite manage to do it properly. I think a time penalty would've been more appropriate than truncating his run.
Hooper is just a machine! Personally I think if the yoke is dropped it should have to be picked back up again rather than pushed/bullied across the line.
Wow...Luke definitely got off easy on that yoke. Many competitions will give penalties for a drop and slide (I'm not talking about the half pickup/slide after the initial drop). That was really ugly. Tom also crossed the finish sliding.
Luke Stoltmans carry shouldn't have counted, he slid it further than he carried it. I understand having a bit of leeway over the last meter of the carry but not half the distance.
Anyone notice how 2022 the implements we're basically built too small for brain shaw? Watch him do the Flintstone lift and even the yoke he's bunched up compared to everyone else. How is that fair if he can't even get into position? They really need to make the implements for everyone to have a decent shot It kinda proves the whole "they don't want "bigger" guys to win" theory
Tbf that was still light for top level Strongman. If it was heavy then the weaker (in yoke) athletes wouldn't complete it, only the really exceptional would
The log was indeed a bit light for them (WSM 2022 qualifs = 140Kg for reps, knowing Tom got 10x150Kg at Giants Live) but remember WSM is a lot of events during qualifs, and then finals so... it's not a "one shot" competition
@E.C. deadlift Brian really struggled on same with car walk, tbh everyone moaned about Brian having tougher group, tbf I don't think we quite expected to see Mitch absolutely rinse everyone, even Mark Felix put up a fight despite the log being his weak event
Huge credit to Eythor...he doesn't get much attention, but he gets to the final, which is itself a huge accomplishment...

@djhenyo depends because unfortunately there athletes like Rongo Keane who just better all round athletes
Hoopers Yoke is next level. God dam
mitch yoke speed records may not be broken for 20+years
Oh yeah, keep 'em coming!
Good grief Hooper made that yoke look like a feather. Perhaps that foot speed from running marathons is carrying over.
Reminds me of big loz back in the day
Mitch is an absolute beast at yoke
Hooper is so fast! 🔥 explosive. Would be an awesome rugby player. 😆

Hooper is a frickin truck
Mitch is amazing!
Hooperrrrrr
Out of curiosity, will there be a time where we get the full final as a single video?
Luke was very lucky to get away with that sliding.
He was technically lifting it
@@petershortland478 He was very not technically absolutely sliding it on the ground. 🤣
Agreed he def didn’t lift it at the end he slid it. Shouldn’t have counted as a finish but only a distance one he began to cheat and slide it.

@@damiensmith9240 ok I agree cheated was the wrong word lol. Guess I’m just saying poor call by the judge.
Wtf? Luke literally slid it the last 30%
still crossed the line ;-) judge says your time it's your time
Doesn't matter...the object crossed the line.💪😎
He didn't slide it, he was lifting it, the back was rising
Ok guys i get the point it cross the line but … not as impressive as a feat of streght should be 😂
If u think that was crazy search "Kieliszkowski goes curling! Farmers Walk at Wembley" look at the slide on those farmes at the end of his run :P
Hooper is just a machine!
Personally I think if the yoke is dropped it should have to be picked back up again rather than pushed/bullied across the line.
Or at least given a penalty time like 2 seconds for pushing over the line
Hoop was incredible on the Yoke!
This Mitch Hooper is amazing, he can win WSM
Love this!

Actually no comps give pens for dropping
@@petershortland478 lol, haven't watched the Shaw Classic?
Luke slid that thing across the floor for like 4 meters lolll
He was actually lifting it the back was rising
They couldn’t even tape the doors shut!? 😂
🙄🙄🙄
@@theworldsstrongestman y’all some lazy ass dudes lol 😂
I don’t know it the budget would allow for it

mitch was runnning yoke as much speed as he managed to stop after one course length away! :D
💪💪💪💪💪
Those folding handles could be improved
Luke's shouldn't have counted. He slid it for like 3 or 4 meters?!
He was actually lifting it I can see the back rising

HOOPER the Winner
7 minutes wtf heehehhe
Bit of a drag race really
Lol I have one of these boxes, they are not light.
mitch has better explosive power, speed and cardio!
Ugly and noisy implements. I really hate being critical but this should have been done better.
Hate to break it to ya, but Strongman is ugly and noisy lmao
Sponsors pay for the whole thing. If they give you a pretty box, you lift a pretty box. If they don't, well...
"Promo SM" 🙈
The clock stop on Oleksii’s run was way off
It was actually debated during the comp I think don't think I would made any difference
Whoever organized and runs this event is a clown. So many inconsistencies and poorly thought out challenges.
Yet Brian moans about weights being to light and mitch smacks everyone at Medley/ 1000 pound yoke
Tbf that was still light for top level Strongman. If it was heavy then the weaker (in yoke) athletes wouldn't complete it, only the really exceptional would
Heavy yoke for strongman right now is above 500kg, level right now i so high...
