      His patience should be viewed as an example for all! Too many athletes hurry their recovery and in the process get injured again. Dude completely healed all the way and used the time to become even more technically proeficient and also acumulated a ton of quality volume with lighter weights, which seemingly widened his work capacity and potential. He was at his biggest and most muscular.

    Wild to think that this comes up 3 months after not the 2020, but the 2021 competition. Almost a year to pull up a mediocre product for the fan to see, when Rogue, The Shaw Classic, WUS offers live-stream and/or complete product in a mere days. A complete disgrace for both the fans and the athletes, and one of the main reason the sport has so much trouble growing outside of the US and UK.

    They spoiled all these by putting the winner the the thumbnail! A lot of people are watching it because they've never seen it, or hadn't seen in a long time, can't remember who won, and want to re-experience it.

    God damnit.. I was looking forward to see Licis going for the back-to-back wins this year... how unlucky is that to be in a traffic accident. I genuinely believe that guy's momentum would have shaken up the history of strongmen.

    Can someone explain whats the deal with the deadlift world record? I thought Eddie Hall (500kg) and Thor (501kg) had it but these guys are lifting more than that. Is it a different type of bar/plates height so it doesn’t compare?

    • @vladik19971000
      @vladik19971000 2 года назад +1

      the plates are much bigger so the range of movement is also way too shorter than in classic deadlift

    " Luke Richardson - 23 years old"
    Jesus, there's realising you're older than celebrities, then there's realising you're older than one of the strongest men in the world. Though to be fair, He does look like he's speedrun and entire lifetimes worth of testosterone.

    It really is time that we can watch this show on a PPV instead of waiting months to Xmas 🤷‍♂️
    you are missing out on a huge cash injection into the best sport on the planet by not doing this, there would be so many who would gladly pay to see this event on a livestream or the edited show within 3-4 days of it happening, it's impossible to not find out the result now which ruins the Xmas show anyway!!! 🤷‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
