Created in 1977, The World's Strongest Man™ has become the premier event in strength athletics. For over 30 years, the strongest men on the planet have come together in a series of unique and amazing tests of strength to determine The World's Strongest Man. The competition has travelled to stunning and varied locations such as Zambia, Iceland, Mauritius, Malaysia, Morocco, China and the USA.
For over three decades The World's Strongest Man has tested the limits of human strength, power, and endurance. The best strongmen on the planet and the most demanding challenges including Fingal's Fingers, Truck Pull, Dead Lift, Giant Farmers Walk, Plane Pull and the Atlas Stones have made the event a highlight in the TV calendar and the show a family favourite with a worldwide audience of over 220 million people.

I prefer the U.K. commentary, with their abstract weight comparisons. ".....thats the same as throwing a well fed bulldog over a double decker bus..."
Or a small child.
Can't beat Danny Wallace, love his anecdotes
I actually enjoy the USA commentators being pissed off with the uk an European guys winning everything an trying to appear happy mate 👍
@@urbanmidnight1 That was Paul Dickinson.
@@intellivisionmaster7999Hey each to there own. However, I'm more interested with your name. A Canadian Intellivision fanboy eh? We must be about the same age. I'm a UK Atari fanboy. 400 on to 800xl on to the ST. With Strongman and 8 bit the late 70s and early 80s were brilliant. I do not envy the youth today.
Really wished Jenkins would have done that 484 log so we would have seen just how strong Savickas was on that day. He took that WR like it was nothing.
even 462 is insane.... after watching early WSM kazmeir was log lifting 350 to win the event..... Jenkins was so close on 484
That’s what he does. He collects world records and titles.
1:24 - Competitors
1:39 - Super Yoke (975lbs, 40 meters)
6:51 - Log Press
13:19 - Bus Pull (54,000lbs)
30:42 - Deadlift for reps (790lbs)
39:39 - Rock Lift
46:21 - Power Stairs
50:41 - Final Standings/Podium
RIP Mike Jenkins. I'm certain he would've won the title atleast once had he not passed
And Brian Shaw wouldn’t have banged and married his wife. Hell of a friend Shaw is.
Can't find this anywhere... Thank you so much for showing it, guys!
"When's it gettin heavy Colin?"
*fails next lift*
Terry Hollands king of the bus pull, legend💪🏻🏴
You are doing some seriously good work here man. THANK YOU!!!
33:52 Young Thor gave his everything there for one more rep. What a Champion in the making... Winning last two events this year 40:21, 45:49 & 47:23, 50:29 with such a leading time margin is also Incredible!
n.b. He started his Podium saga this year and was in the podium every year until 2019.
I wish he compete for today... One of my favorites sportmans.
@@overpowered9966 Same here buddy... 😔
@@CWPWWRESTLING He's one of my biggest inspirations. I wish if I was 1/4th as strong as him... A long way to go. 🤞🏻
@@CWPWWRESTLING Swear to god he is Thor's biggest fan ahahah seen this guy on FB and YT always commenting about Thor
16:24 I never knew Hafthor was Swedish? 😂😂
mike jenkins always looked like his breathing was laboured even standing still ,i know he died of heart problems but every video makes me think it was something genetic to it .....incredible at moving events and a potential winner
Could be a heavy cycle of tren as well.
It was genetic
Mike Jenkins died on November 28, 2013, aged 31, in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania from an enlarged heart, suspected to be caused by long-term steroid use.

To think that Lalas almost beat his training partner here who happened to be the strongest to ever compete. Injuries unfortunately kept Lalas back after this, but if he would've stayed healthy, he might've won gold one year.
These were the days!
This bus pull was absolutely brutal
RIP Mike Jenkins definitely would have won WSM atleast once
Yeah, Mike was a beast.
Nah
@@piotrektiger8633Loads of people heavily in the strongman circuit have said that same. Mike was an absolute animal.
I'm sorry but no
One of my favourites. He would have won at least once.
Another one was Jesse Marunde
Big Z with a great finish! He is a lot faster than he gets credit for, especially at 384.
Such a great contest of strength champions
Damn Thor looking young
They called him monster baby during his early competing years.
The fact the this is before his palsy episode, adds to that.
Ah the good old days of the bus pull before it became a sprint.
Vytautas Lalas shoulders is out of the world. He is only 178 cm but he was perfect and inspirational athlete. If he would be 190+ he could win 2-3 time WSM.
I always get inspired to be hype up to workout because of Vytautas Lalas. I am also 178 cm tall, and kinda see him as my Idol so to speak :)
What a load of bullshit 😂
Wtf are centimeters, use real measurements xD
@@michaelwhitewolf6988 i always have to google lol is it just below 5'10 ?
Baseless assumption
Pretty epic. What a list of finalists in this one. Feel bad for Brian here but don't worry guys he wins 3 more!
Vytautas Lalas is such a beast
These contests show that's it's not just size and strength that matter but also will power and competitiveness.
More like this! Love it
Wow jf Caron looking young
Miss those athletes
I realy liked Rock loading event its so brutal
light weight! :) to quote Ronnie Coleman
Please upload the 2009 WSM next
Shaw's contests in Colorado and the Arnold Classic in Columbus Ohio have edged out WSM as the preeminent contests because they emphasize raw strength over speed, as it should be. WSM was great for many years, but it took too long to release and cut out a lot of good footage, and many of the events showcased speed over strength. But they're fun to watch. IFSA and Fortissimus were also great.
Big Z and Big Z Jr. dominate this year!
16:25 lmao the wrong flag
Haha yeah they use Sweden and not Iceland
Bring back the uk commentary
*size, speed and strength are unique facets in a strongman competition*
Jenkins nearly killed himself in the deadlift
18:27 did not know Todd Howard was there as an EMT
2021 complete final event ?
Don’t think we will see it until at least Jan 2023. Seems like they can’t post on RUclips until after the following year airs on TV.
in the past
They really needed a 6th stone for the rock lift to separate the strong from the super strong.
Can’t listen to Phil Pfister w/the “Reality TV” styled commentary
Kaz is the same... It's just the way the Americans do it
Phil is a fucking legend. Shut up.
I felt for Lalas on the final event. So close to winning! But he was in Big Z's shadow.
He got 2 world records. WSM and oldest WSM ever in history.
Sorry i doint like triple h stephine mcmhone dx mortohead hbk i like Randy orton John
cena And Brock lesnar
Funny thing is if Savickas was to judge that years log performence he would have not give that 480+ log lift for himself.
Funny how true that is for some of his lifts
That lift was legit he got the lockout. It only needs to be long enough for the ref to see it. Way more legit than Iron Bibi's
@@berzerkbankie1342 not really you can clearly see it tilting mor toward one side
@@lonestar2495 pause around 10:54
It's locked out.
@@berzerkbankie1342 about the same as Bibys
In my personal opinion once you get the bus moving doesn’t seem too bad for the competitors.
Just a personal observation from most of the competitors.
It was because it was uphill in the beginning after crossing that Incline it's way more easier hence everyone struggled a lot at the beginning
itd be awesome to see the rock lift back instead of atlas stones
Brian came in too heavy this year
That 484lbs log went up like nothing, it was even to much power in that, he threw that up with such a power than almost lost balance. That day he could easily go over 500lbs.
I believe so as well. Really wished Jenkins had done the 484 log and pushed him even further because he obviously had more in the tank.
Who was that fake Brian Shaw girlfriend? That wasn't Keri.
I recently found out about this. Keri was married to Mike Jenkins then when he died after some time she got with Brian Shaw.
@@elijahpierce4606 him & Keri got married in 2015 I think

🙋🏻♂️✨✨✨🇨🇴🏋🏼♀️
The arrival of J F CARON!!!!!!!
52 minutes this might actually be "full" for once
Hafthor is already bald at such a young age... disaster.
These commentators suck. Please upload the British version.
Then what would you complain about?
@@theworldsstrongestman Probably that you are still using qualifiers instead of a single huge competition. This is WSM after all. It should be more prestigious than the Arnold.
@@sagebias2251 the arnold is the harder competition but i dont see what you're complaining about
@@theworldsstrongestmana bit of a childish response. From what I’ve seen in MANY comment sections British version of the heats and finals is universally accepted as superior then American

RIP mike Jenkins. He would definitely had been a multiple wsm champion. People who think shaw is the nicest strongman ever is married to mikes wife . That’s why mike Burke & a few others fell out with shaw. Nice people don’t do that it’s quite low .
