Thanks for your nice tutorials. It would be appreciated if you could upload / share the drawings of your parts to follow easier. Stay safe and healthy.

Way even create the knurling and threads it's only make the part heavy and specialy if you use it in an assembly. Use cosmetic threads and define the knurling on a drawing instead.

Thank You Sir for great videos and excellent explanations! I was wondering why did you make the thread counter clock wise? Also do you see yourself or others in your company making front or rear bumpers from sheet metal or creating patterns for bumpers? Again your channel is very informative and I thank you for passing on your knowledge and wisdom in Solidworks.

Could this be easier with a revolved boss? And why do you choose to build your own thread geometry, and profile rather then use the solidworks thread feature?

YES! It really depends on what you're doing. If you're doing one, revolve; if you're doing many lengths then no. I would revolve the head but extrude the threads in that case. Using the thread wizard whenever possible is the best approach, but Mr CAD CAM, I think, is teaching fundamentals in this case which can always be applied but needed if the profile isn't in the wizard. Otherwise, it's for people with SW2012 and older. :o)
