Thank you for the room tour. Even for me as a German it’s quite interesting to see how others furnish their apartment. It did irritate me, however, that your kitchen had neither a sink nor a stove. But as the internet just told me, only in Berlin there is a mandatory minimum kitchen equipment with cooking facilities and a sink. An open wardrobe is normal in Germany 😉.
I love the artwork on your walls, happy and sunny like your nature! I wasn't expecting to find German Boyfriend's room to be so well organised. You both have a beautiful home together. Hope you will enjoy eating your veggies soon.
The thing with the cloth drying outside is new to me, some places have a cellar room for it (washing machines are also often in the cellar) where you hang them alternatively many places which have an enclosed backyard (multiple houses often share one) have infrastructure to dry it outside, but all the little details heavily depends on where in germany you live and the age of the apartment building, older ones are more likely to have such shared accomodations
There is NOWHERE a rule or law, that you are not allowed to hang your cloth outside. Only the house rules can regulate that. Other residents should not be bothered and you may not make any changes to the facade, e.g. attach lines. However, nobody can forbid you to put a drying rack on the balcony, as long as no water drips on your neighbours.
Maybe it’s regulation in her town only. Not in other towns. My fiancé sometimes hangs the drying rack out on the balcony, but normally he likes to keep it in the room. Normally it takes half a day to dry up all when the humidity is 50-60%
My guess is that this is a regional thing. In the Area I live in wich is rural, there are Wäschespinnen in almost every Backyard. I rent this Apartment and even me and my upstairs Neighbor have a Wäschespinne that we share.
I’m not sure exactly when, or why, RUclips thought I needed to be introduced you (and German boyfriend), but I’m very happy for the introduction. I would also like to mention how lucky I feel that such an enjoyable content creator chose to make content in English when it’s obvious that she speaks at least two other languages. Because, like many of my fellow Americans, I really only know English (and a teeny tiny pinch of Spanish that I can remember from class over 40 years ago). One of the best things in Germany is amazon. @@vommwhy you complain, its not like you who need extra space for your bras, diff undies, pj's, dresses, shoes, make up, bags, hats, etcetera.. complain to mother Nature. You men always look at women's who looks different, dresses well and feels great, why not understand that requires some space, money and compromise. Yes women do need more space than man, that the way it is. The old English saying "Happy wife happy life" for a reason)
@@artvik. Yeah look at her and her crazy styling! Didn't she made a short about that she does not need anymore all that stuff you listed because her bf loves her as she is? And maybe he had more hobbies and interestests if no woman would claim all the space needed for interests so they can use it for shoes und lipgloss?
I whole heartedly believe the world needs more wonderful people like you and German boyfriend! ❤
agree 💕
Facts!
I wish I had friends like them ❤
Agreed!
❤❤
I love how you spent 12 hours cleaning the apartment for the video but then literally filmed it in a bathrobe. We stan a comfortable and confident queen!
well, if it's a clean bathrobe... 😁😂
@@milie2422she always wears it though…..
It's a mood
Perhaps she feels cold.
Haha 🙌 love it. However when I lived in Cambodia it was pretty common for ppl to glide around in their pyjamas / matching cotton set and / or sometimes bathrobe around town especially on the motorbike ride and often combining it with socks inside the Flipflops
It was a bit confusing at first
I am not sure if it is the same style at times in Vietnam tho
"Today is a very special day. My whole apartment is clean"
I felt that.
you guys are the most wholesome couple I have ever been blessed to watch, I hope you live happily ever after in your cosy apartment without having to rip out the kitchen!!
Having to buy your own kitchen when renting is also different depending on which state (Bundesland) in Germany you live in. Some (most?) states require a functional kitchen and is the responsibility of the landlord.
Growing vegetables for you is the sweetest thing!! Also, I think German boyfriend sounds like Winnie the Pooh! So gentle and soothing!
OMG! He DOES sound like a German version of Winnie the Pooh! 🥰
I hear this all the time 😄
@@german.boyfriend It's a good thing though. Very soothing and kind with a hint of playfulness! She's a very lucky woman to have you in her life. Next video you have to say "Oh bother." lol
@@german.boyfriend Best ASMR voice! Pls talk about your fossil collection and insects...and plants!
Omg yes he does sound like Winnie, such a soft and friendly voice!
"German Boyfriend", I am so happy for you that you found such a nice girlfriend. She seems to be so authentic and happy about her new life and still connected to her own culture - it's very moving to see how it works out for you two :)
... to me it seems to only work for her.
@@Fielion sorry things didn't work out for you, incel. 😢
@@Fielion she literally moved all the way to germany and gave up a whole life in vietnam... how is it only working for her? I would say she is the one compromising the most
They are engaged now
@@Fielion how so? They both seem pretty happy, the voices are giving it away.
But yeah, haters gonna hate?
They are the prefect example of simplicity and couple goals ❤ German boyfriend growing vegetables for uyen just made my heart smile 😊 and uyen always respecting boyfriends privacy and space is so wholesome ❤️lots of love to you guys from another side of the world California ❤️
