It is great to know that many others enjoy eating cat fish. I live in the deep south of Georgia, USA. We have many breeds of cat fish in our waters. Growing up, we often would dig for worms after school, then go down to the creek to catch cat fish for supper that evening. Many people do not know that cat fish will grow as large as the body of water they live in. Cat fish grow over 9 feet long and are carnivores. I wouldn't eat a 9 foot long cat fish, as it is very old and will taste muddy since it has live such a long life. A cat fish that size, one should return it to the river to keep living since there is no purpose in eating it. Cat fish are very over looked as a tasty and healthy meat.

@@doodahgurlie yeah I have latinoamerican family in the US, and nowadays I feel like they've been brainwashed into such a weird level of consumerism, they only eat ground beef, chicken breast or nuggets and drink water from multiple tiny bottles all day instead of buying a filter or getting the big 4 gallon reusable bottles we use here, they think it's something from "less developed countries" and I'm like? Do you understand what you're saying?!
@@met.marfil I’ve watched a lot of health-related videos recently and the more I learn, the more I believe in having a diverse microbiome is a sign of great health. We live in a culture where antibiotics are given to us for every little illness (which kills all the gut flora, including the good ones) and medicine is unnecessarily prescribed at a high level. Then there’s the food supply that is poisoned with pesticides (crops) or antibiotics in our meat (they give them to animals to make them grow bigger while eating less). Add the fast food, convenience foods, etc. and it’s a disaster. Then toss in the fact that foods are so restricted to things like only boneless, skinless chicken breasts….nothing else from the chicken, and that’s just a disaster for your gut microbiome. No wonder Americans are all fat and unhealthy now.
I love the sibling bickering and bossiness and cuteness!! All of that food looked so amazing, but I would never be able to go with those tiny plastic kid chairs. I'd crush them! 😅
I think an important part of featuring food in a video is like.... Just showing people what's available, and encouraging them to expand their horizons. So even if you're not filming the food a lot, you're telling people about it, and showing what you love about your culture. It would encourage me to order or try something I might not usually, since now I know how to eat it!

Uyên, please don't say rotten shrimp sauce! say fermented shrimp sauce so you don't scare off the newbie! lol . I adore your channel!
The dynamic between the two sisters makes me smile, especially when she rolls her eyes when her sister corrects her like she is not a full grown adult :)
The coconut dessert looked so yummy!!
Looks like cream caramel, but not custard based. FYI; Flan usually has a pastry base.
I'm so happy I found you and your family and of course your German BF! I'm stuck in bed, recovering from surgery and learning from the cutest, sweetest content creator. Who's filming? I love your sister, no worries, just wanders off and leaves you behind. Keep doing what you do!!
I've never tried any of the things you guys ate, but now I want to! Everything looks so interesting and tasty, and now I'm hungry, lol. Thanks for sharing your culinary adventures with us!
Hey Uyen, I have been watching your Vietnam video series since last week. All the videos are so lovely and pure I found so many similarities between Vietnamese and Indian culture. Love from India! 🧡🤍💚
Vietnam is rlly a place i would like to visit the food looks kinda good :D
The food is really good! I went last year and the food was the biggest memory i took from that trip.
I love how your videos are very real and legit. It’s very honest and that’s a hard thing to find on RUclips food reviews these days
The food tour with your sister was great! Hope we get more of these in the future and maybe even a Max McFarlin collab! I’ve found out about so many Vietnamese dishes through him!
I wish she would have done a collab with Max and Chris (since he lives in Hanoi). But she also should have done one with Will in Vietnam or What the Pho since they live in Hanoi.
I couldn't stop smiling this whole video. Thank you for this!!!
Looks like ngan is Muscovy duck. They're supposed to be delicious.
ETA: hey, a Circle K! In the US, they have great slushies.
ETA2: now I want bun cha gio chay. A place near me (hi from Oklahoma, US!) makes it SO WELL.
ETA3: thank you, Uyen's Sister! Happy Tet, you guys! 💖
I love hearing you speak your native language and learning more about your home life! Thanks for sharing 💕
I have found hole in the wall restaurants are the best in other countries. They are for the locals not tourists so they are authentic and often delicious.
The editing for this was great! Would love more
Really enjoyed your food tour, it’s done so candidly and genuinely … tqvm❤
its really cool to see the real authentic food, thanks for this great video!
Vietnamese food recently became popular in my country and i love every bit of them! Definitely gonna make a video about them one day!
What country do you live in?
Thank you chị Uyên for making me right away want to take a flight back to Vietnam!!! I miss all the good food in our country
That was really fun ! It made me hungry and it made me miss my sister 🥲❤️! Thank you for sharing 🥰
I loved this video and seeing your relationship with your sister. Thanks so much for sharing your life with us!
I love cultures that enjoy every part of the animals they eat, I think that's the most respectful thing to do and find it particularly disrespectful to life itself when certain cultures only use specific parts of the animal and discard most of it. Thank you for sharing!
In the US, it's just chicken breast all day...and look at the health crisis here. It's known that the organs are the most nutritious.
Uyen, for me you're the best food guide!
I wish you show more of the food you like everywhere in the world ❤
I love the sibling bickering and bossiness and cuteness!!
Is the camera person a relative too? :) ❤ Whoever it is, good job with documenting. Oh! Your brother in law! So nice!
It’s the sister’s husband
Help her start a food tour business if she wants? Loved this tour because it was so home-y.

My dad’s side is cantonese. I would love this food tour. That flan looks so smooth, it would slide down my throat 😋
“Do you want to say sorry?!”
“No.”
😂😂😂😂😂 savage lol I’m cracking up
I grew up in the city, but i really like this atmosphere/lifestyle. It feels lively and warm. I hope you can make more videos like this ❤
Perfect food vlog style 😊 again please, when you feel like it ❤
