  • Here's a great step workout, a favorite of many of my participants. Work through 3 fun step training combos that we'll build little by little. Before you know it, you'll be doing super fun L-steps, repeaters, turn-steps, and more. This workout is very doable, especially with a little practice. Please subscribe to my channel.     I have done this video using 2 lbs. weights 5-6 times a week for a month and I have lost 7 pounds and my love handles are gone. Jenny, you are amazing!!!

    I'm in love with your step videos. I just ordered a better stepper and looking forward to getting back on track. I love step aerobics and I love how your moves are not complicated. Most of these kinds of videos are to jazzy or fancy footed. I can focus and put in work with your videos. Keep em coming!

    This is my first experience doing step aerobics besides on Wii Fit. I really love that it's simple for beginners but it feels challenging! Also I really appreciate the warm up and cool down sections because I know I (and I suspect many other people) often skips these even though they are important parts of a workout.

    A great combo workout that was very easy to follow without tripping and hitting the stepper. Very doable and a good calorie burner. All sweaty after this and feels good too. Thank you, Jenny.

    Hi MiissAlexandraMakeup, certainly doing this workout once per week is a great start! If you can fit in at least 3 sessions of cardio per week, (whether it is a step session, or a zumba class, or riding you bike, or going for a jog) you will really maximize your results.       Hi Jenny, I have tried it and I find it challenging to follow for some reason LOL so I went back to the 3 step combo which by far my most loved work out :)
      Jenny, I'm requesting if you can make one something like the 3 step combo with simple choreography steps LOL Love you what you do!!!

    Love how it keeps you moving without a lot of frivolous fancy footwork. Can't stand the ultra complicated videos where you feel like you'll eventually twist an ankle trying to follow along.

    I just worked out with Jenny Ford's Step Aerobics Basic w/3Combo! It was an awesome workout. It provided good music, good instruction and a good sweat! I'll be sticking with Jenny's workouts!     OMGosh this work out is amazing! I simply LOVE it. After my treadmill broke and gaining about 100lbs over the last 3 years I knew it was waaay past time to get back on track. I signed on to a popular weight loss program and incorporated a simple walking routine at a local walking park, and almost immediately lost 12lbs with dedication, commitment and hard work. Soon the over-crowded walking park and impossibly small parking lot became too much for me and I began to back slide on my exercise routine. I bought a treadmill but simply was NOT using it. I remembered my step board gathering dust under the bed and pulled it out. Then I found this workout and now I'M FREE once again from the shackles of boring workouts and crowded public workout places! And boy do I sweat to this. I love the simplicity of the routine and the sneaky intensity of it. LOL. For me this step program is perfect and absolutely NOT BORING!!! Thanks JENNY FORD for giving me my body and my life back!

    mindyandwookie, thanks for asking. You might want to try my workout listed as 'STEP AEROBICS STEP by STEP' --running time 51:07. It is my most popular basic step workout. If that one is still a little too much, you may want to try 'BASIC STEP AEROBICS FITNESS CARDIO WORKOUT' --running time 30:11. Let me know if you have any other questions or comments. :D

    I did this for the first time last night. It was challenging and I missed a few steps, but her directions are great and repetitions sufficient that I was following along pretty quickly. I can only do super low-impact stuff, and I appreciated that she showed alternatives to the hopping. Benefit: I was concentrating on the steps so hard, it was over (and I was drenched!) before I knew it!!

      Jenny Ford Thanks so much; I'll definitely check it out! I really love your workouts; they're by far the best step routines I've seen. Challenging but not too hard to follow, mostly because of your excellent direction throughout. I started doing your routines about 4 months ago, and since the beginning of the year, I've lost more than 40 pounds!! More importantly, my blood pressure has dropped significantly, and my cardio health has improved dramatically. Your workouts are a super important part of my fitness regimen, and I attribute a great deal of my success to you and them. I really can't express enough appreciation to you.

    I don't usually find Basic Step challenging so I avoid it. I did this workout today thinking it was Intermediate level and have to say that it was still very enjoyable. On two risers it was also a little bit more challenging despite the slow pace, and I actually really loved it. Still sweated a whole lot, so I'll be sure to visit again some other time when I'm not feeling too energetic. :) Thank you, Jenny.

    I just bought a Reebok step at a second hand store
    For $14
    I use to instruct step in the early 90s, these videos are fantastic
    I’m soaked by the end and am running a huge endorphin high.

    Hey Jenny, I saw your step classes on you tube and thought " hey I can do that!" So I ordered a step and it arrived today... Well it has been 30 yrs or so since my last step class (which I used to Love), and I thought it wont take me long to get back into this... Wow, the cardio side was okay, but the Combos at my age!!!! So I did finish, but I will go through this again and again to perfect the combinations... Thanks heaps and I look forward to trying out some of your more difficult ones soon

    I find it really affects how you feel mentally, too. You just have an overall sense of strength in your mind and body. Your video is so perfect - and I've been upping the weight of my weights for some of the moves and I'm getting better at pushups (I've got a lot of weight to push up! lol), which makes me happy!

    Returned to Step after a brief 20 year absence 😜 and this is my favorite of all the videos I have done so far! Not a lot of fancy moves that leave me standing there lost, but basic, constantly moving combos that gave me a GREAT workout! Thank you!!!

    minxter87, what a great suggestion! I will look into what closed captioning would take. I've never thought of that, but makes perfect sense with step when you really must HEAR the cues. You must have a lot going on at your home too! =) Thanks again for the idea.

    This is a great workout. "Dancy" routines don't burn anymore calories. If anything they are a safety issue for me. Continue your good work.

    Great workout! I did it for the first time on Monday, and again today. After doing lower body weights yesterday, boy could I ever feel it in my quads and glutes, and fast! Nice work and thanks so much for everything you do!

    my legs did a great job today because of these crazy 11 lunge-backs !!! wonderful idea !     Omg.....this is an awesome video Jenny my first step in a long time...I got more than half way through before I almost feel on my face..lol 30mins....I'm going to try again tomorrow and try to get thru the whole thing....

    Dear Jenny, I love your workouts. I allready lost 10 kg with doing them.
    It's fantastic that there are all sorts of workouts so it stays fun.
    The only thing is that the music is not always synchrome with the steps and then it's difficult to stay in rythm. Please don't stop doing this.........

      Conny Mol WOW!!! Fantastic! I am sorry you're having issues with the music. Very frustrating I'm sure. But thanks for letting me know. I always try and watch very carefully through all workouts before posting, to make sure all looks good/sounds good. THanks for bringing it to my attention. I have no plans of stopping, hoping to film more very soon!

    Hey Jenny, since 3 days we have our step board and first tried a workout with the included DVD, but this workout was so dreadful, much too fast, completely unsuitable for beginners. So I looked on RUclips and found your videos and NOW WE HAVE FUN with Step Aerobics!!! You do a really great job!!! We can join in all good! Your nature is very sympathetic and motivating and we are really glad to have found you! Thanks a lot!

    6.3.13 jenny I made it through 25 minutes right before combo2, I just finished with chalene extreme burn 1 and then this.Loved it, first time doing using 1 step, loved combo, did get a bit cofused on the 3 repeater hams into basic but got it.Im going to aim for finishing this all the way through.Thanks for making this, I really enjoyed all the combos and I will pick it up after a few times.down 14.2lbs now.Will keep you posted.

    Holy guacamole this one is intense! I got through 10.5 mins before needing to pause. Down 4lbs so far though using your workouts, Wii Fit, and MyFitnessPal! Thanks Jenny! :)

    OMG Im so glad I found you...im a stay at hm mom of 5 and the youngest are twins...Its 11:49 pm right now and I just got done with this workout and I feel great..happy subber here...lol...great job!

    I had to reply from your reply that you are working on more showing us how to step. for could not else where? ? "anyhow" Jenny that would be so fantastic, I catch on pretty fast "sometimes" that is, your amazing thank you was a way for a bit and now I really cannot wait to do some Steps you make it fun and exciting! yay! ... Also I will be joining one of your programs by the middle of the year for sure. Thank you for having this I truly love them. I like something fun, that can melt the calorie. for I have stayed away from exercising for a while and so ready to get back with it. It is so important for our lives, not just the physical but the heart, mind and soul, I believe. Have the bestest of day! 🤗❤🤗.
