- I challenged RUclipsrs to a fully custom Super Mario Odyssey escape room to see who could complete it the fastest. Will @Smallant @cjya or @RedFalconTV finish first? Watch and find out!

Well, if you minus a minute from Smant's time (due to him not using his original character) he technically won lol.

He makes a good point and the power of wooper wasn’t on his side because he was wearing blue which has tre bad luck of quagsire
@@codybaker9682CJ was the only one who got substantive hints. He would have wasted several minutes before finding the area under the fountain and Bowser's underwater arm without the hints.
Who's to say Fir didn't already take the minute off?
I am amazed that all three of them forgot the plant enemy raises the platforms, when that's explicitly the way they're used in Wooded Kingdom.
I think it's more because they didn't recognize the platforms.
It's because they're speed runners

Aren't they used like that almost exclusively in the red maze? I'm sure there's somewhere else I'm forgetting, but that's far from the only way they are used in Wooded
The main way is just reaching high places. (boss fight, the tall nut, nut round the corner, nut in the maze, nut by the parihana plant (if you fall) the nut in the room to Speweret and so on)
I love how everyone saw the death symbol sign next to the pipe that kills you and went 'I wonder what this does' before going in and dying

@@maker0824 Smallant literally bonked at 3:24 and at 10:35. He only added it to CJ because that's CJ's editors style to add the *bonk* to the video. XD

These SMO escape rooms are impressive
I would have loved to see the individual timers throughout the video, just to get a feeling how long everyone took for the individual sections, but other than that this is an amazing video! I already loved the gameshow and this escape room is once again very well crafted. So great job justehcupcake on the map creation! :)

@@PikaPlays true, but they could've showed times after each major segment to retain the tension since it was pretty close and could've reasonably gone to smant or cj depending on the final puzzle
I liked that you kept the reveal to the end. I never knew who did the best and it kept it tense.

I think it would be really cool if you guys used the manhunt mod to do a hunger games in odyssey online. The last one alive wins. You could use channel points to have sponsers who could sponsor the tributes with a heart to refill their health or a life-up heart or give a player a speedboost. The best kingdom for this would be wooded. Perhaps there should be a gamemaker that forces the tributes into conflict, so it's not just everyone hiding.

FIR this was absolutely bonkers in the best way. So enjoyable, such a cool idea. I can't believe no one's done this before (that I'm aware of anyways?). Def hope to see more escape rooms in the future if it wasn't too much trouble to set up.

This was absolutely awesome please more of this! also, if we could see who's talking with a little picture or drawing of them on the left or right that'd help a ton as it got a bit confusing to know who was who until they talked, except for redfalcon ofc! either way this was so cool!!

Love this idea and overall was a great video. One thing that could make it even better would be to put the name of the player on the screen so we knew who's pov we were looking at. Sometimes it's hard to tell just from the voices who is playing.

Really fun video, I just would've liked to have some sense of how long they had been taking for the first two areas maybe, especially since it ended up so close at the end.

With how close the times were, Smant could have likely one if he used the Moe-Eye platform in the main room instead of the platform where the Moe-Eye spawned, but also we got to see CJ be happy he won so it’s all good

Never played Mario Oddyssey before or seen any videos but this was a great idea. SmallAnt thumbnail and title definitely helped! Loved the video and really liked that we couldn't tell who was winning the whole time until the end. Would have been extra cool if we could have had everyone's reaction to the final times.

I find it interesting how Fir was learning how to make better escape rooms as this went on, with how so many players didn’t interpret the indicators correctly. Like the death sign next to the pipe, or the false body parts disappearing similarly to the keys from earlier (I legit thought the false parts just had a big grab box)
