Maple Leaf Rag (Scott Joplin) played by me in public

  • This was the second time I played in public, recorded in the same place as my "The Entertainer" video, only with a different piano.
This video took place inside a second hand store, my grandmother had been talking with the owners which were happy to have me playing there.
Recorded on the 14th of April in 2022 (day of upload) using a Zoom H1n microphone with no effects, a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and an iPhone.
That piano was on sale for 1200kr ($126,06), it had a few keys that were stuck and the plastic keys had fallen off, leaving me playing on white wood.

Thank you! Unfortunately that's the situation. Though I certainly can't blame them, since most people might think that I have been playing piano my whole life, but I have only been playing for 3 years. By that I consider that they might be less impressed by someone who has spent their entire life commited to learning the ins and outs of the instrument. Where they would expect someone to be a virtuoso, therefore they will less impressed.

I still get pain in my wrists and shoulders. Though it might be because I play on a digital piano and I tend to press the keys down harder because I'm not receiving the powerful sound you get from an acoustic piano.
