In fairness this is a very famous spot, weird as it might sound that Piano (or at least the one there, it's probably been a few different piano's now) has had some incredible musicians play it. I've certainly heard beautiful music at least half the time I've passed it and that's only me passing by maybe a dozen times.

Sounds awesome man!! My late father in law was a talented pianist and he would do the same thing in public. Some people would walk past and others realized they were in the presence of greatness. Just like the people in your video. Bravo!!!!
Without having seen the documentary, I can almost guarantee that Henri warmed up a little beforehand. Not on that particular piano, obviously, but he had a weighted keyboard somewhere and got 'into' the feel of the grooves and tempos of this piece behind the scenes somewhere just prior to this recording. There is no shame in this and it goes a long way toward being in the right headspace in order to nail it perfectly for the unsuspecting audience. Amazing independence at some high tempos; Very well done, Henri.
I’ve been practicing daily now for less than a year and I’d say it’s not as hard as it looks. I got inspired by this video. Basically once you master the left hand in a month or two, it’s all about the right hand. The left hand itself kinda repeats the same pattern over and over just on different octaves. Muscle memory and a small sense of rhythm will keep that on track, and as you do it hours and hours, you’ll be able to gain a perfect independence for it. Then you’ll start figuring out all the complex right hand patterns, such as licks and improvising with the blues scale. At this point you can pretty much make your own songs. Just learn an intro and outro and you’re ready to go. Just kidding, this shit takes a shit ton of practice. But still, not as hard as it looks.
My most favorite musical instrument. I just love piano music. It’s not an easy instrument to play. Beautiful indeed. Bless his hands for playing the keys at such a speed no joke
P C that’s essentially what is, you just play notes in a groovy pattern and don’t change anything because with the right rhythm it will sound right and good
Yeah, not really. There are more people ignoring him and passing by than staying to watch/listen. Still a lot of people stayed and listened. But what you said is just wrong, you are just seeing what you want to see.
It’s like the law of the gravity, the more mass there is in one place, the more mass is being attracted due to stronger gravity. And when resources are ended, massive objects tend to explode, collapse. Same here. Musician stopped playing - crowd disappears.
The expressions he makes are of satisfaction, because he is not only playing, but he is enjoying and feeling what he is playing. I say it because I also do those weird expressions xd.

Roger that!
I’m the 666 like😳
"nothing attracts a crowd - like a crowd."
Yep, it's the fear of missing out
It’s like the law of the gravity, the more mass there is in one place, the more mass is being attracted due to stronger gravity.
And when resources are ended, massive objects tend to explode, collapse.
Same here. Musician stopped playing - crowd disappears.
It’s really sad how people can’t recognize quality musicians... no one spares the time for beauty
It's just sheep mentality

Cannot understand how so many people ignore this master playing masterly for free
I guess they didn't want to distracted him or something
Because it’s London St Pancras international train station and a lot of people have connections to make.
This guy has some serious endurance in that left hand
The right one too for that matter...

Guys a sweaty mess at the end.
It's was indeed
He put his heart and soul into it
This is my face playing smash
The expressions he makes are of satisfaction, because he is not only playing, but he is enjoying and feeling what he is playing. I say it because I also do those weird expressions xd.
