I will never understand how people can keep walking, not even look over, when something this magnificent is happening right before their eyes. This was just beyond amazing. That whole platform should have been jumping when they finished playing, cheering and clapping. quite simple really. art.. but music especially has been so over populated that we forget to stop to take part and witness its creation. If you turned up to work late and said it was because you stopped to listen to an amazing performance, A great boss would accept that and move on. sadly I do not think this is the norm.

When I see someone playing I almost always stop, takes a lot of practice to learn and get that good at your craft, & you're right, it feels like a travesty that people can just ignore them. Don't know if that is because we are so used to tuning others out now, or that we get our 'fixes' often from 'auto-lists' made by algorithms. Either way, I would have stopped and cheered. Even talented professionals & stars get nervous performing & it is a vulnerable act to put yourself out there to be scrutinised. I would buy an extra coffee to watch them play, anyway...

Its the same keys across the board. Just higher or lower pitched. So someone can play a certain tune/pitch and play the similar tune with a different pitch. Its not hard once u figure it out

Pianists have a neat ability to dance around each other's fingers, I can say I have this ability too
