The 2014 mustang had 60 deaths per million, which doesn't make top 10 unsafest. Plus 2015 and up models are even safer with plenty of airbags and better crash safety (look up the IIHS rating). Combined with new traction features and a independent rear suspension, even brazen mustang drivers need to try hard to mess up.
I'm not saying mustangs aren't the safest nor have the best drivers, but they're great cars.

Yeah as sick as motorcycles are I've been rear ended in my first car, it completely crumpled my rear end and gave me a concussion and whiplash that took me months to recover from. I knew a few people who had very serious injuries from motorcycle crashes. By all means, surround me in as many safety features as possible. Respect to those who still can ride their bikes without crippling fear

@@zzrxne6028 94/95 don't have traction or stability control.. from what I read they added it in the new edge and it was really fritzy and would cut out or cut In during random moments while just driving normal or doing donuts and that caused a lot of crashes and crowd control 😅 not to be literal but you know..

As a former Insurance Broker all I can say is "Lancia Delta 88". I had a client with one, and it was the only car I ever seen which was illegal to put liability coverage on in our province. You could trailer it to the race track and that was it.

I really appreciate you talking about the color of the car affecting its visibility. There's quite a bit of fog where I live, which can reduce visibility quite a lot. Then to add to it, it always seems to be the least visible cars (I tend to see gray cars doing this) that also don't have their headlights on, further reducing visibility.

There's also the decade old issue (to this day) of camaro starters melting its wires due to bad placement (no protection from firewall) and causing fires... was never recalled for it even though chevy has settled multiple class action lawsuits about it...

There are several ZL1 1LE's over here, imported before 2019 when the emission requirements (EURO 6c) came into effect... they are Grey imports, officially the industry is called "parallel imports". I saw two in person already.

I have a corvette and have been in the platform for over 2 years now, no crashes or anything, it's been one of the most enjoyable cars I've ever driven🔥
I’ll never forget a report on unsafe cars in the early 90’s, it had the Camaro at number one, and the Firebird at number ten. Since they were structurally the same car, that proved that it had nothing to do with the cars themselves , but with the kind of drivers that bought them. The Firebird cost more so they tended to be bought by older, more reserved drivers.

I've definitely gotten out of some almost-accidents in my c8 that would have definitely fucked me up in a "regular" car with "regular" handling/braking/acceleration-aside from the thrill of going fast and sounding cool, this is possibly the biggest benefit sports cars offer to daily life.

@@jaks7199 Honestly I loved the multi-link front suspension, it had incredible road response. And the longitudinal 1.8T was exceptionally smooth. Held on to my 03 clear up to 2018 w/ 160k miles on it.

You can legally own it in Europe, but you have to find an importer for it, who will charge a premium and you have to essentially get it approved as if it was a car you built in a garage by yourself. Costly, but not impossible and changes to the bodywork are not necessary.
Well I believe it’s just the ZL1. You can still get the lower trims, which would be more useful for daily driving... unless you’re getting a Camaro for the ZL1 racing package
@@sehajkaler9285 It will cost a pretty penny but the SS uses almost the same block as the ZL1 and they do sell adapters to put the ZL1 supercharger on it. So you could essentially build a ZL1 out of an SS if need be. (Idk if they sell the SS in europe though). You can also swap the Aero and entire front bumper for a ZL1 if you want to as well. (Source - has a SS with ZL1 aero)

My DC2 has 4 door Integra rear door handles on my coupes front doors so there is no key lock, I run the NRG hub and it’s a toy not a daily but when I park that one in public at shows and track events the ECU always comes with the wheel and the keys.

I was expecting the early generation of Dodge Vipers to be on this list.
We talking the no airbags, the seatbelts on the doors, or the lack of roof or roll bar that would kill anyone in it during a rollover?
@@alexandertyrson2002 Dodge should have atleast gave proper seatbelts. Cuz no one's dumb enough to drive a 400 HP monsters wothout proper seatbelts.

The fact that the average buyer couldn't handle the power and often loss control. Yeah. First 3 vipers I seen all had collision damage, which dodge couldn't keep parts for and had to make on special order as needed.
The v10 was dangerous to the driver's wallet.

As a Samurai owner, I am pleasantly surprised to not find it on this list.
My sitter drove us around in a Pinto 😆 it had a sweet space ship HUD attached to the dash that shot laser blasters and photon cannons.
