I don't buy the hogwash that the CIA Chief of Base at the CIA Annex in Benghazi issued a stand down order.
I read the sworn testimony of the five GRS team members, the GRS team leader, the Chief of Base and the Deputy Chief. Only one of the GRS team members testified that he heard a stand down order. The Chief of Base testified he didn't issue a stand down order. The Deputy Chief testified the Chief cleared the GRS team leader to go assist the diplomatic mission "instantly, on the spot, without equivocation." The GRS team leader testified the Chief never told him to stand down.

This movie was actually really really good. It's a shame that these guys' actions and everything got thrown into a massive tug of war on the partisan side of everything cause I feel like for a lot of people that element clouds their ability to just watch this movie and see what these guys did and went through. I'm assuming the characters are based on the real guys and these guys do not seem like Jar Heads, they seem like highly intelligent, highly motivated guys and I believe they've probably got a great sense of honour and morality. Though I dont think we should be fighting over there I'm glad men like this are fighting for us.
