    Hey pilots! Tricker here and I want to welcome you to my channel on combat aviation. I'm a real world pilot in the Airbus 319/320/321 series and I enjoy DCS World, Falcon BMS, Falcon 4.0, IL-2 Sturmovik, X-plane 11, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
    If you want to fly WWII aircraft over Normandy and the English Channel, then DCS World WWII is for you and they have plenty of aircraft to choose from such as the BF-109, FW-190, Spitfire, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang. If you enjoy modern aerial combat then you want to focus more on DCS World products such as the F-16, A-10C Warthog, AH-64D Apache, F-15, F-14, JF-17, SU-27, Mirage, Mig-29, F-18 Hornet, Mi-8, Mi-24 Hind, Uh-1 Huey, Ka-50, F-5, Mig-21, AV-8b Harrier, and the F-4 Phantom. Some of the mods that are out there for DCS World are the F-22 Raptor, SU-57, A-4 Skyhawk, Rafale, and Gripen.
    I enjoy other games such as Total War, Battlefield, War Thunder, Escape from Tarkov, as well as Squad.

    1:50 You can use LEFT ALT + LEFT MOUSE button on the F10 map. If you fly in OpenBeta, it will work. Also it will add the game in version 2.9
    You can use the coordinates in this way.

    Dude thank you so much. Having had the Harrier since release it has been a LONG confusing road of procedures changing and being removed/added. If we did not have your channel people like me would still be lost in all of the changes.

    Thanks for the video. What I'm noticing in your video is you have a high contrast on the EHSD page : map is dark and overlay is bright. How do you do that? In my case map is very bright and so is the overlay, I can't distinguish anything, especially with green overlay. Thank you.

      Found it! That's the gain control on the MFD! I did not know you could change this. One click on the gain up or gain down does not seem to do anything, but when you hold the button down you see the contrast changing

    has anyone figured out a fast way to change waypoints into TP's with the harrier after the waypoint logic update.
    you used to be able to simply designate the waypoint, then press TOO>Enter and it would save it waypoint increment TOO>Enter, and the TOO enter part still works but now you have to hold the ufc waypoint up/down, select waypoint from the upper panel, and then enter the waypoint number you want on the ufc (it defaults to 1)> Enter>Designate> repeat.
    the old flow was 3 buttons and you could just repeat them quickly to enter say 10 jdam TP's. the new flow is 7 + entering the next waypoint number on the UFC.
    does anyone else have a better way to do this?

    how do you get all that full description in the DCS Sctatchpad? I only get L/L but not the rest that you show in the video

    • @TrickerDCS
      @TrickerDCS  Год назад

      When you click L/L it fills up the box with all the info you need wherever the white circle is located.

    I've been trying to break back into the harrier again lately and I keep running into some weird behaviors... The biggest thing once noticed is that switching to/from the TGP HOTAS mode will deselect mavericks and change the JDAM fuzing and laser to Safe. Is that normal?

    • @TrickerDCS
      @TrickerDCS  Год назад

      I know the behavior changed if you go master arm off the laser will turn off automatically now.

    Why do you hit enter 77 when adding a WP?

    • @TrickerDCS
      @TrickerDCS  Год назад +8

      As long as you enter a waypoint number higher than waypoints you have in the aircraft, it will create the next waypoint for you. 77 is just easy because its a high number and close to the enter button.
