@@TylerThompson90 haha!!! that explains his disinterest...still, i am 40 years old and finds it so amazing that he can contain his emotion in the midst of it...cool kid...
Maybe, spent many, many hours on 4wd club trips as a kid and grew up to enjoy camping and hiking but I'd never put my kids through the bullshit of sitting in a car all day 'experiencing the bush'
What you did with thatr Jimny, not having Diff Locks and only standard Jimny electronic diff control was amazing. Best jimny Off Road Video I have ever seen "Youre The Man Tyler". I had Siewrra 1986, new Jimny 2009 and about to buy This Model soon, now I know it is as good as my underpowered 1300cc models. sn413 VVT is awesome, this looks better. Thankyou Tyler!!
Watagans is a beautiful place. I stay off the harder tracks though. Tried Creek Road once and turned around where you tried to winch. 3 near stock vehicles with no winches, no way in hell we were going to make it. Personally I don't see the fun in doing things that may damage your vehicle. I would rather park up and walk the tracks/trails. Also the main waterfall is Gap Creek Falls. I have not done the Abbott's Falls walk yet but will be soon.
Greetings from Florence Italy I am also the owner of a Suzuki Jimny 4x4 in 2001 with a m13a 1.3 lt petrol engine. All original and drives in the presence of country tracks and mud. Also the tracks and mounts and roads in the countryside are completely covered in snow! For me the Suzuki Jimny is a good his 4x4 SUV!
Rainy conditions, more challenges, special natural lighting, Suzuki, LC crawl control (?), all provided a different video away from your usual comfort zone. Enjoyed it.
Your son looks excited mine was like that until he started his own channel on our trips away. 'Not so far adventures.' Short little clips try to get your son into making those and he will get more excited to go away
10:56 "I'll just come up slowly and just try and crawl it and see what happens" :D Another great trip video, I look forward to watching the rest of it.
I have watched your video many times...I have owned vitaras and jimnys all my life and I have just bought the new 2021 & im kiting it out with Ironman down in Burleigh after watching your show...ARB just dont cut the mustard...in the outings I have been here on the Gold Coast hinterland with the bigger 4WD`s and the jimmy went places the others could not...so maybe weight to ratio...you say..."you actually have to learn to drive" with the new Jimny..as apposed to a lot of the other new stuff around...ITS TRUE....I love love love my new Jimny and encourage anybody to get one for fun fun fun....make more videos man...thanks for posting...
an epic track! (and that kid always looking at his PC???) I remembered when I was that age and we climbed on tracks like this one in an old CJ3 Jeep from 1955... my region in Patagonia looked a lot like Tassie, same trees, same fog, same rain, but with volcanoes and snow like in NZ. Nowadays it is quite another story, most of these tracks are not used any more since they are in protected wildlife zones, which I think is the right thing to do. Luckily we still have plenty of room with really wild tracks in other places, but I would not be driving myself anymore, I will pass the responsibility to the next generation, which has the energy and endurance... I`d rather go trout fishing (although a "Suzu" is on my wishing list for Santa)
Love the way dad is wheeling for dear life and the is kids just playing Minecraft like he is back in his room until he starts to giggle. Awesome memories with pops.
Polo-bo-kin 🤣 you crack me up, nearly spat my beer 😆. Great seeing the Jimny in your vids for something different, looks like a hoot to drive. How good does Shad’s car sound! 💪 great camera angles and filming mate.
All three exceeded my expectations, particularly Jimny but I've been driving Sierras and Jimnys since 1998, so I know what they do. Sierra was underpowered post-2009 Jimny was 30% more powerful and I never got stuck for power. I want to Supercharge my Jimny, using a Jetski supercharger kit. This 1500 cc Jimny is great. Don't forget old Vitaras had 1500cc motors.
Yep enjoyed that. Well done Tyler , I,m here to figure out if I want to buy a Jimny, and after this vid probably will. I,m from across the ditch, NZ,, but have super enjoyed travelling your outback .Bucket list is to travel some of the more well known 4 wheel drive tracks in Oz
That was an amazing Video, I cant wait for part 2 & 3! No one wants an advertising barrage, but id love to get a rundown on all the mods done to the Jimny please. Great filming and commentary. LOVE IT!!
Great video to start on a Sunday. Morn.. ..... Found the cruiser looks award at times. And purley uses its power... Mux and Suzuki.. Did just as good a job. And no lockers.... 😁😀
Man, when I see your video I get aware that I miss Australia. We do not have such options here in Germany for offroading. When you want to have fun you have to go to an offroad park. It looks like a cool adventure, thx for sharing it. Great video. I am so glad that I decided for my Jimny FJ couple of months ago...
Man that zook is an absolute weapon. What an awesome trip it looked to be. I reckon twin locked that thing would be unstoppable 😂. Your dad is a track master now, he wheels that mux like a boss. He does well to keep up being open diffs. Shad has some friggin balls the size of rock melons, he wheeled that 76 to with an inch of its quater panel life with the tree so close 😂. Fantastic video.
It is a petrol after all, got to drive it differently, lots of clutch control and riding it even, plus higher revving. With a heavy duty clutch tho, it changes the dynamics again, can work friction point more like a diesel, so much more bite. The HD single plate exedy is much cheaper than say a Hilux to, which is what I’ve downgraded from. HD clutch helps for towing to. I tow my 10 footer to some very remote creeks and billabongs, the track is to tight for anything bigger. I was going to buy side by side atv to tow it, but sold my Hilux instead and got a Jimny, was the same price as an ATV with air con cab 3 seater. Still got to drop $10K on the Jimny from factory for it to compete with a side by side. But it really can go nearly everywhere, very impressive little car, don’t even need winch when others do.
Great video bro, u always look like your having fun 😂😂😂 Kai normal non plussed 😂, usual great camp spot & fire 👍👍👍👍👍 great camping area, looking forward to part 2 and beyond
Nearly 20k subs! 20-50k will grow so much faster than 1-20k. That zook has made some awesome content. Would of been heaps of fun jumping in something with such a short wheel base and light weight.
I just came across this vid from 2 years ago with the spritely Jimny. You had shorter hair and beard. We prefer that look of you. Then again, horses for courses. It's your body and life.
Lucky ass Aussies we don't get the jimny here in North America I just bought myself a trail hawk but I'd definitely buy one of these if it was available
Awesome Video Tyler, you've certainly convinced me to add the Watagans to my to-do list. It sure makes things interesting having a couple of different types of vehicles too. Keep up the great work.
Exceptional video. Are their any aftermarket gear ratios designed for the differentials and/or transmission? Is the transfer case stackable like Toyota T-Cases? Do any of the air locker companies plan to create lockable differentials for this truck?
Hi Tyler, what have you used for suspension upgrade on the Jimny.Getting a 5 door one delivered in India soon and thinking of picking up a kit from here in Perth and taking it there when i holiday in April
I'm sure you did, but on those rock sections in the beginning, it looks like you haven't let the tyres down at all. The Watagans are certainly on the list when I go north on the odd 4WDing occasions.
Does the Jimny have four wheel lock? I nearly bought a Jimny but went for a Peugeot 4007 which moves through those conditions on low gear tickover/anti stall.
You should upgrade the brakes with steel lines and better pads so the 4wd systems works better. Seems to me that the 4wd systems allows a lot of slip before really hitting the brakes.
So the Zook would def be better wth an auto because the gearing is high. Same music as Lite brite. Good stuff. You show the Wattagans like no other. Great to see it has beautiful spots and tracks instead of that gnarly stuff every one else shows.
top work mate, looks like a fun week out.......... crack up how Kai snoozes or is happily radiating his nutsack on the laptop through half the excitement ...........
Cracking watch again mate love them little things but here in the UK i just don't think you get a lot for your money for them but do really like them 👍🏴
I'd rather say he could be a great co-driver! I'm a rally driver, but taking the seat of the co-driver is totally different. Try it if he likes the idea. It would make us really proud in the rallying community!
Really great vid Tyler, well done mate! I luv that little Zook, would be great with a set of reduction gears in it. Tell the guys at the dealership to put some in and then retest it. Bet it shits it all in then, not to mention a much smoother drive. What a weapon!! 👍🍺 Now I want one. 😞
Keep up the great work Tyler! Just one question. Your little inverter you mentioned. Do you use a pure sine wave inverter or a modified sine wave? Cheers!
I will never understand someone that puts a snorkel on a rig before lockers. Are you planning on taking an unlocked rig into 3' of water with no lockers?
Yeah mate, 30yrs ago few people put diff locks in because of cost. Things have changed, back then it was more about bulletproofing your 4b, a snorkel's good insurance against a hydrauliced engine.
Good to see the young fella, suitably unimpressed on board... a couple of years and he’ll be thanking you for the experience!
He does enjoy it most of the time, just likes to act unimpressed 😂

😂😂😂 thanks mate!
To be fair, if I had something that sounds as good as that V8, I'd want to give it some boot everywhere I go too!
More slippery then i first thought 😂😂😂🤠
Thanks guys - great to finally see a Jimny review vid where they take it all the way to the limits! this will help me choose my first 4 x 4 truck.

The Mux excelled for effectively a standard wagon .
The Jimney is such a great machine. Awesome video! I wish they sold the Jimny in Canada.
the more i watch jimny going off roads, the more im loving it grrr!! haha nice vid.. challenging trails..
The Suzuki Jimny is just a small version of Landcruiser 79 series. That's why is so good.

More than I would use it for. I'm sold. Just ordered one 👍... A rear diff locker and it would go from excellent to sensational 🙂
A Jimmy with a rear locker would be great!
Great video mate! I think they need to put a gear reduction in the Jimny. That would make a massive difference.
Lucky ass Aussies we don't get the jimny here in North America I just bought myself a trail hawk but I'd definitely buy one of these if it was available
Or 70 series Land Cruiser.
Great footage! ......... it must be the no1 challenge in this kind of 4 x 4 space seeing drivers continually oversteering
Great trip episode. Had to smile watching your little fella on the laptop as you were bouncing off the mud walls:D
Awesome Video Tyler, you've certainly convinced me to add the Watagans to my to-do list. It sure makes things interesting having a couple of different types of vehicles too. Keep up the great work.
Thanks mate, awesome place out there!
You'll have to get the nav up there tyler it'll have most tracks up there covered 👍 another top vid m8 👍🍻
Yep Ill be back there soon in the nav I reckon
Haha. Using the blow torch to light the fire for so long. Might as well just throw a whole box of firelighters in. Probably cheaper

Jimny being a lightweight vehicle , it easily crossed various obstacles , what is the engine specifications?
Great vid of the Watagans. Can I ask where the abbots falls is on the map/track? Steve 🇦🇺
To lift the jimny 5cm, are shocks and coils enough or do you need other stuff like for example extended brake lines etc...?
Hi Tyler, what have you used for suspension upgrade on the Jimny.Getting a 5 door one delivered in India soon and thinking of picking up a kit from here in Perth and taking it there when i holiday in April
question: what size of tires are running here and if the clearance is not an issue in comparison with bigger vehicles?
Stunning perf by Jimny. great vid thanks!
I'm sure you did, but on those rock sections in the beginning, it looks like you haven't let the tyres down at all.
The Watagans are certainly on the list when I go north on the odd 4WDing occasions.
Yeah I had them at 16 on the Jimny, not much weight on them though to bag out
Suzuki is an amazing car! Hello from Sochi!
Could you tell me please how much does it cost at your place? Thanks in advance!
The Suzuki driver struggling with clutch, amazing weight advantage and short wheel base, makes the slippery tracks look easy.
Alright , further in , I don't drive em but I ride em, you guys tore that. Great stuff guys
The jimny looks like so much fun to drive!!!
the boy in Jimny was in another universe.
Hi Tyler! Great video! Can you tell me about your tires specs?
how the lil jimny beat them big boys
easily without dif lock
short wheel base
So mad suzuki left the USA and released that gem
Does the Jimny have four wheel lock? I nearly bought a Jimny but went for a Peugeot 4007 which moves through those conditions on low gear tickover/anti stall.
You should upgrade the brakes with steel lines and better pads so the 4wd systems works better. Seems to me that the 4wd systems allows a lot of slip before really hitting the brakes.
i would love the pin point for that lookout at 4:20 can you share the pin on google maps?
Great stuff! Watching from out here in East Africa! We just got a jimny and based on what we've seen you do with it, we're pretty chuffed we did!
They are a great little 4wd!
Your content is awesome, so glad I found this channel!
Glad you enjoy it!
awesome vid Tyler, the 76 is a beast
Is a Jimney strong enough to have a wind and pull itself up?
Because I really want one and a rope wind would be a great thing to have :D
Yes it can have a winch if you have a bullbar or winch mount. You can even use a 4500lbs or 9000lbs rather than a big 12000lbs.
So the Zook would def be better wth an auto because the gearing is high. Same music as Lite brite. Good stuff. You show the Wattagans like no other. Great to see it has beautiful spots and tracks instead of that gnarly stuff every one else shows.
Thanks mate! Yep I reckon auto would help
How many extra fuel tanks needed for the 3-day adventure?
The low range is only like 2:1, my Jeep TJ is 2.72:1 (still not quit slow enough).
Fun times, Shad's Toyota is a beast, I love to hear it unleashed!
Thanks mate 👍👍🤠
Did you regear the jimny tcase and/or diffs?
top work mate, looks like a fun week out.......... crack up how Kai snoozes or is happily radiating his nutsack on the laptop through half the excitement ...........
I love jimny still waiting to come in India
Cracking watch again mate love them little things but here in the UK i just don't think you get a lot for your money for them but do really like them 👍🏴
They are awesome fun!
Whats the name of those sick round blue work lights in the front?
Your T-shirt says it all (35:46). Great video.
Awesome video, really enjoy the nature. You go hard the on Suzuki 🤣
Yep got to drive it hard because of the gearing and traction control system haha
Is this the same jimny that sits at the dealer in singo? Also surprised it doesn't have a snorkel !
Yep that's it
the jimny looks like the new ford bronco😂bugger
Another good one mate, Good to see Shad out again too. Cheers Steve
Thanks 👍
Which among them is the most comfortable?
The Isuzu MU-X looks a little displaced 😆
Like a SUV on steroids playing with the wildtrack boys 😉

Thanks for the feedback mate, they sure are a lot of fun!
Best 4wd channel!❤❤❤
Keep up the great work Tyler!
Just one question. Your little inverter you mentioned. Do you use a pure sine wave inverter or a modified sine wave? Cheers!
Modified sine wave is the little one I have. My proper one in my 4wd I have a pure sine wave though
This is my dream life and the boy is so patient. Thank you.
What tyre size are you rocking?
Kid looks stoked
Great looking tracks ,👍
give the youngster the wheel at the safer parts , that will be much more exciting for him.

Is the land cruiser right ? Sounds abit sick
i love that falken livery lol gives that need for speed underground 2 vibes.

I just put in a rear arb locker in my 99 model i got a front to install yet.
Great job, Tyler. Very enjoyable mate. Can't wait for the next episode.
Glad you enjoyed it
What are you doing in that little thing?
Great country for off roading
Does the Jimny in the video have an automatic transmission?
Manual
