Would love to see a longer one that can fit a suppressed pistol, and all a usb port inside for those of us that prefer to run rechargeable lights on our HD guns.
On the market, there are fast charging chargers and super fast charging chargers. Vauktek tried to make this like a big revealing. Truth is it's $500.00. We all have chargers already...we all have clocks already....we all know what temperature our bedroom is already....so what do we have here? We have a 2 gun safe that looks cool as hell but is it worth $500.00? For a clock, some chargers, and the temp AND humidity...Ahhh.....not for me. Nice looking though....
@@jimbo4260 Definitely not for everyone but the DS2i was our fastest selling product when released and one of the best selling pistol safes on the market. The DS5i just adds to the success of the popular DS2i.
@NWSafe the % that wasn't the question posed to you..the question was what charger is in the safe? The regular charger that first came out before fast chargers came out or.....SUPER FAST CHARGING which is currently the fastest charging on the market? Which of the 3 is in the safe?
I checked their site but could not find the specs on the AC adapter, in 2024 I would say more than likely a 100-240VAC 50/60Hz unit but if not there is always amazon. Just insure that the barrel connector on the aftermarket AC adapter has the correct polarity ( + & - ), output voltage and at least the same output amperage. Polarity you can hack by cutting the wires and swapping them. You an go higher on the amperage too but I would go over by much. Hope that helps.
Use your cell phone?! Like cry about something your phone can do it does charge your phone hahahah why else buy it? If your not using all the features. Common sense. Or do you not have the money. Just be honest and say its too pricy for you
@@32phoenixx it’s funny you say that because we initially had the same reaction to Vaultek with several of their product launches. They seem to always prove us wrong as they dominate the pistol safe market and this is currently one of our best selling units. They may not be the cheapest electronic pistol safe but they’re no doubt the best in the industry.

I appreciate that this one is at least big enough to hold a suppressor if you use a quick attach system.

Vaultek won’t answer my question. Maybe you can. Does this have wireless FAST charging. The previous version was terribly slow.

@@jimbo4260 it’s not in the product spec but given the wattage numbers from testing it’s not up to the levels of even a FAST Charger.

The electricity in my area is 220 volts. Can I buy one? Can the transformer handle this power?

@@ahmadhotary7205 Vaultek just replied to my email and it is indeed a 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz and is CE rated so it won't spontaneously combust!
bluetooth 2.0 only? bluetooth standard right now on common products is version 5.0.
It’s not exactly doing anything crazy over Bluetooth that would utilize those features.
