This is why i rooted my k1 and installed fluidd. I did this the 2nd day I got my k1. I have had it for a few months now and it works great. I also used the spacer .
I added screws with a suspension under the plate so i can change it on my own. After i rooted my k1 max and in fluid i can do srew levelibg and it give me a fast recommendation how the corners are leveled. Then bed leveling and my result was good not perfect. There is still a litle whole in tve middle😢
If you are going offline after resetting is it getting a different IP address from DHCP each time? The IP address in Creality Print is sticky, but most people have dynamic addresses in DHCP.
This ia a great video! However I am struggling to understand how you actually did it. Is there any way that can do a more in depth video explaining how you did this. Great video and I enjoy your content.
I did not do much, all I did was print out some spacer and put them on the 3 corner where the lead screw were. There should be 2 screw on each of the lead screw(rod) take those off and put the spacer in that spot, then put the print bed back in and rerun the auto leveling. Check your bed mesh on a browser (chrome, Firefox, edge, etc) which ever browser you use. Then just repeat the step again. Let me know if you need anything else.
@@Scratch3DPrinting I have been working at getting it correct for a few days and the improvements swing wildly. I have experimented with different size shims to see what effects it has on the results and the swing in the map is crazy. I actually love the process of learning what happens when the change is slight but getting it right is frustratingly interesting.
Odd to say. That bed wasn't too bed to work with. I have a huge camel back in the center. I can get all 4 corners looking good...but the camel back hump. I don't know how to pull the center down! It was suggested to just replace it?
Yes, sorry...I have an almost new Ender 3v3 core xz with exactly the same problem you described on your K1,; the mesh I get in Fluidd is horrible, I think it might be a common issue on the core xz model too, and if you could make a tutorial on how to fix this issue it would be great. Thank you very much for all your videos!

Ahh, I would have done a video a long time ago if my ender 3 v3 has bad bed mesh, but unfortunately I got a great bed mesh, my prints on the ender 3 v3 is always perfect. Not quite sure how would I adjust the bed on the ender 3 v3. Maybe you can try to tighten the screw on the bed and manually level it using the paper method. But I'll see what I can do, if you need more help join my discord, there are many knowledge people in there.
@@Scratch3DPrinting Thanks for responding. My mesh looks identical to the one you show at the start of this video; I've had this printer for a couple of months and first I believed my bad results were because noob errors but now I have realized it is impossible to get decent printings from this machine. There are no screws to tighten here like in the older Ender 3, just 4 tiny screws that cannot be adjusted, and regarding the paper method I don't see how can it be performed on this machine. Please let me know if you think of something, I feel frustrated because I can't find anything on the web about this issue. Thanks again!
@@Scratch3DPrinting What kind of problem did you live after spacers mod? I have done that mod, actually everyting seems ok until today but now two times my prints cut middle of printing today. Hotend just stopped without a visible reason. Is it possible that they were because of spacer mod? What do you think?
You can use and browser, like google chrome, Microsoft edge, or Firefox. You can also use slicer like OrcaSlicer. I made a video about it here: ruclips.net/video/AttoeB2HKQI/видео.html
You can't see it in Creality print. What you need to do is, get your printer's IP address and type it on a browser (I use google chrome) then you will be able to see it.
please, is there no one who can answer me… how do I add the program that sees the unevenness of the table??? It does not exist in Creality Print. :)@@Scratch3DPrinting

I only added second smallest spacer to the lowest point, then tightened the screws of the ones that were still higher/orange and is mostly white now and more level to the bed, might help you if you want a better result.
That's nice to hear. I did try that a while back, it works for like a week or so, then problems start to arise, I did remove them and adjust the belt a bit and now it's printing fine.
You need to get the printer's IP address and put it into a browser, ex: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, etc. Any browser you use, Creality Print don't have it.
consider yourself lucky, I have a CR-M4, one of the lead screws arrived so badly bent it grinds when it moves and the bed was so badly warped I had to bend it back flat with a rubber mallet

Nice. I am thinking about rooting my k1 max as well, just don't have the time yet.

Is there an stl file of the part you printed so that the cover can rotate more?

uhh, interesting. I did not know that.
@@Scratch3DPrinting you should try to put the printer on static ip, that's what I've done.

@@ClarenceMcCrayIIyou need to let the bed heat up for around 10 minutes before attempting to calibrate.

Yeah if the middle part is humping then the bed is warped. There are replacement for the k1's bed out there.

If it is going offline frequently try reserve the IP address on your router.
