- Peace River by Camil Mapping is an absolute epic, if you like big machinery and huge fields this really is going to be a tempting map.

Here's what Camil said about the new map:
Welcome to Peace River, British Columbia, CANADA. East Dawson Creek. The map is based on a true elevation map, and satellite views, as well as some modifications coming from my inspiration. The map is composed of 93 fields, from small to very big sizes.
- 5 farms full equipped
- Dairy, hogs, feedlot, 2-grain farms
- 6 sell points:
- 3-grain sell points, roots, milk, hay, manure
- You can buy everything in the industrial zone: gas, animals, herbicide
- Canola swath, anhydrous, customized crops, traffic, season mask, decofoliage compatible w. season, multi-terrain angles.
- You start your career without vehicles, however, I let you a gift, two stock certificate of 2500000$ each. It should represent a good starting point.
- Geo mod and Season mod included.
- Not a 4x, 16x, 64x, something different, never released on FS19. The map is 10km large, which is an unconventional size. For that reason, I modified the Season mod script. I received the agreement of Realismus to integrate the modified season mod directly to the map.
WARNINGS:
- Unselect Season RM mod in your mod list
- The map is based on half-pixel resolution. It is not in line with the Giant guarantee. The map is by the way not optimized and probably required high PC performances.

Finally a map worthy of being called realistic for its location. At least as close as it gets for actual field size. Seems like I'm gonna pour a couple hundred hours into this one
I thing you need a couple of days irl to harvest the big field with 6 harvesters. I believe that I would spend at least a couple of thousand hours on this map. I have almost 2000 at Western Australia X16 and I didn't finalise my equipment yet.

I generally prefer open prairies but this is a map has pretty much everything I like; large fields, a large map, realistic location, and it’s one of the few maps I’ve seen that actually has proper quarter sections of land. Very rarely do I find maps that set their fields up that way. I’ll definitely be giving it a shot as soon as my new PC is built

Oh man I cant wait to try this one out!! For large odd sizes maps like this you should mentions the coordinates on the bottom corner of the mini map, so we can get an idea of the actual size of these maps.

Great looking map, and a great map tour video again from TFG; however since I barely use FB and don't want to unfairly sign into a page that I'll never use after I get the map, I'll have to accept that this isn't a map I can try out. Disappointed, but it's my loss for being downright stubborn. Thanks for the video, the map really does look awesome!

Woot, my home Province, beautiful map! Also they have the BC flap on the farm :). The train is correct for CN. The other rail we have is CP. Dawson Creek is a Northern BC down. As for Canuck silo that is probably to represent the Vancouver Canuck Hockey team. Vancouver is one of the main cities in British Columbia. Tim Hortons another Canadian brand for coffee. The gas station I think it said Co-op, and that is a brand/franchise of gas stations in Canada. Very awesome map, I am going to try it out as a solo Multiplayer. I give props to the maker of this map, feels like home :)

little update i havent been able to switch maps since... this map is AMAZING i adore the cattle layout... the trips to the shop actually feel like an event... going to sell points during seasons actually feels like you have to put a day to the side to ship the order which is just like irl. and i dont mean a day of real life time. i mean 1 day game time lol 5-15x. after getting my courseplay running everything has come together. if you ever seen mike Mitchell's youtube channel he farms land in Saskatchewan and this farm SEVEARLY reminds me of his farm. even decided to replicate his squad of 6 big ol bourgault drills with a army of 9rx's. such a great map. amazing job camil.

This looks fantastic! Looks very realistic from what I know about the area. I haven't been that far north in BC, I live in the Lower Mainland near Vancouver, but up there it's the north end of the prairies with lots of open spaces. If you look on google maps, you'll get a good idea of how the farms are set up there. Short growing season IRL, it gets dark early in the winter and winter can hit very hard. BTW, Canuck sounds like 'luck' not 'Luke'. Great map tour, maybe someday I'll be able to play it and visit the area in person.

Although the season is short and winter nights long...summer days are almost endless. The sun shines on your crops a long time on June 20th.
@@HOWNDOG66 I spent a couple of years in Edmonton, I know not as far north at the Peace. Middle of summer it never gets totally dark there. Conversely, in the winter it never really gets light some days.

I hope this map comes out for FS22, it would be perfect to make a timelapse series on it. I've been searching for a fitting map for a XXL Farm and this might just be the one.

The small issues are being sorted out, otherwise, this map is fantastic. Camil did an amazing job! I believe the static farm down to the south is a sell point, if I remember correctly!
Just remember; Seasons is built in, so be sure to disable RM Seasons while playing this map!

Also I noticed at 5:34 the field info says that the field is owned by Delage Farms which is an actual family farm in Indian Head Saskatchewan

The peace country is amazing. They get a ton of sunlight mid summer so they can grow almost everything. They are very dry right now though so not much growing this year. We are in central Alberta. I make farming videos.

I tried it out yesterday, my PC handles 16x maps pretty good usually, but this one gave me huge FPS drops and several log errors, as soon as I had my equipment set up Don't know what went wrong, maybe I try again in some weeks, the map looks great tho.

It was a big Map, I mean I play Wild West there is 16X map but 25X map .... it's big.But I understood it in such a way that there is no production or I am mistaken.

Growing up in Prince George and visiting Fort st John and Dawson Creek many times I’m looking forward to trying this map out. I didn’t catch if it’s season’s ready and if there’s a geo for it? ...now to brush up on course play and autodrive...
It actually has seasons built into the base map (so you can’t turn it off) and it’s own built in Geo 👍 Check out my Autodrive and Courseplay tutorials too 👍

Alberta north not BC... ok ok the river separate province? wow ok and this is BC side... well i just learnt this. I was there (nearly) when i was 19 years old for working on farm
You are not on a low spec PC so that means that people with lower end systems this map will lag loads for them. Nice job explaining that you need to make sure to tell people that so that when they try playing this map they know that ahead of time. This is not a map for every computer built.

Nice a hometown map, but sadly the map is about 100 square Km in total, console maps are only 2x2 km it would never run on console I’m afraid

How do you download from Facebook? Also, How is it possible to be a 25X map?
In FS19 maps are 1x, 4x, 16x, 64, and so on in multiple of 4.
If you look at the PDA the map isn’t square, the map maker talks about it in some of his posts, also follow the link in the description and join his Facebook group to access the map 👍

So, I have found the sell points for grain, but I cannot sell anything.
Well I downloaded the Peace River, British Columbia map, og unziped it, put it into the modfolder, and stated the game. But the only thing happening is, I can choose the map and mods, but then it loading, my pc get stuck on some strange way. Don't know what to do.

I don't think it would pass Giants testing, the majority of PC maps don't make it to Modhub especially not 4x and larger as they are not officially supported by Giants
That is not bc, I live in Alberta, live in bc for the summer, and that is way more like alberta than it is bc. May be wrong but I’ve been just about everywhere but the very northwest of bc and I’ve seen nothing like this outside of alberta and Saskatchewan

There are no shadows as far as I can see, I think it has too much impact on performance

Requiring facebook account to download the map, love modders who restrict access to their own mods, it is boggling.
I don't think they choose Facebook to restrict access, it's still the worlds largest Social Media platform (2.7Bn people) They've probably chose FB as it's got the widest possible audience. Of course this doesn't help you as you don't want a FB account (which I respect if that's your decision), but that's your personal choice. You could have a FB account and have access to the map if you wanted to.
Requiring joining a group to get the link is restricting access to folks with a facebook account. The DL location is not in facebook (MEGA I believe), why not just put the link open to everyone if you are not specifically driving folks to join? Modders loss not mine, plenty of accessible awesome maps out there, great review though, made me want to give the map a try anyway.
