That's a decent dairy. But I keep waiting for somebody to build a KS feedyard. They usually feed between 10,000-300,000 hd of cattle a day. Imagine the contracts
A couple of issues: Has anyone had trouble getting Courseplay to work on some/most of the fields? I ran into that on several of the round fields, tried many of the CP options, a lot of difficulty getting any course to generate. Found a problem with a section of road on the SE part of the map near field 6 and 8 where vehicles using Autodrive simply stop on the road (all the waypoints are correct), weirdly corrected by moving the transit of vehicles off of the road. This action was strangely near one of the irrigation systems to the east of the sugar plant. Finally, in field 45, when using seeder/cultivator (as a contract), with seeder fully loaded when attempting to run, there was never any change to the soil and no progress on the contract as attempted. Yes, the seeder was lowered and turned on. Attempted this multiply, trying reloading game, etc. Behavior again near the irrigation apparatus in that field. I wonder is there is some sort of glitch? Anyone who has seen this on this map or other, appreciate suggestions. Mostly I have loved this map.
The autodrive stopping is to do with the collision boxes for the irrigation booms it's a frustrating one, I removed a good few of them to solve the issue.
Technically, Plainview is in the Texas Panhandle - really more like North Central Texas rather than West Texas. Folks from the western most parts of Texas sometimes take issue with outsiders calling places in the panhandle "West Texas."
Love the map, love the panhandle area of Texas. Would like to see someone make a map of the Mertens/Frost Texas area. Big farming on the Blackland Prairie. We operate a cattle and hay ranch on the Blackland Prairie.
@@TheFarmSimGuy there seems to be a trigger on it as pressing f4 or f5 i think on pc shows a big orange box which is a trigger around the thingy. ill try tinkering with it when I get the chance to

Sorry I've not seen that issue before, it could be for many reasons from not enough disc space to a dodgy mod. try loading the game with no mods installed and save it, see if that works, at least then you'll have narrowed it down to being a mod, if it still does it, there may be a problem with your FS19 install, or that specific save game.
Has anyone found the feed trigger for the cow farm above field 2? I have tried everything in both highlighted zones and for the life of me can not get any sort of trigger. Tried multiple sets of equipment
It’s in the middle of the field weirdly, if you have developer console turned on hit F5 and you can see the trigger wireframe in the field, took me ages to find it too 👍
@@TheFarmSimGuy thank man. Just started watching your channel and love the videos. I see the highlighted zone but I just never get a prompt to unload. Could be a mod maybe? The pigs work fine just tested that. I’ll try without animal pen extension and what you suggested. Thanks man

I've Been playing on this map for a couple weeks. I like it. When I first started playing it the pivots were stationary. I cant get course play to map all the fields yet.
Anyone know if it is possible to add an ethanol plant on other maps? Or maybe a mod that lets you use corn for fuel instead of canola etc like the global company mod.
You could if you want add Corn as a fill type to the ethanol plant from Lizard, there are a few that come with maps too (Georgetown I think has one) but on the whole it only seems there isn't a specific mod that does it for corn.
I downloaded this map right after your review. Love it but having issues with weight in vehicles. A full water trailer is almost impossible to pull. Same with my potato harvester, can't use over 60% full or it starts to miss crop and bounces.
Does this not work on multiplayer? Been trying to get this map to work on my gportal server but I just sit at the loading menu waiting for game host acceptance. Wish I could play on my dedicated server 😕
I downloaded the map, and I have to ask...how do the hired help work on the circular fields??? Is it an issue where I have to cut the field into a square first?
Im not sure to be honest I only tested it with Courseplay, but they should work, they work determined by the field edges so should jsut run horizontally or vertically across the field. let me know if it works.
Im playing on this map and i bought the dairy farm and i put some cows at the dairy and i fed tmr to the cows but tmr shows 0 percent after i fed tmr to the cows. I was wondering if you know what to do or how to feed the cows at the dairy
Have you tried to use the lanscaping textures? When I try to build a gravel road I have grass in the texture. Matter of fact it’s all the textures I use to build my farm
@@Razorbackfever Yes Sir there is. There is a line of code that can be removed from the map that will prevent that from happening, but it impacts how the grass he has in it will grow back I believe.

Can you suggest a few maps that have good contract work? Something similar to the default maps. My GF and I play together and many of the model maps we have looked at had very few or no contracts available.
Location is not a concern, she gets really annoyed with steep hills though! I like taking multiple smaller fields and extending them out, joining them together, clearing out trees and flattening uneven areas to make a much nicer field for less cost than buying a ready made large field. I can find something to entertain myself on most any map, we are mainly looking for maps that have good contracts for her.
Hey guys, we have the map as a dedicated server map and we are loving it, i do have a question though and hoping that someone has an answer for me. On the map between fields 29 and 31 there is a huge cow pasture as well as a pig den, i own the field but cannot seem to fill the water on either the pasture or the den, im using vanilla equipment to fill but no luck, does anyone have a solution for me or am i doing something wrong, thanx in advance.
On a few you have to generate the field edge course and then generate the actual course. I have been using course play on it from day one. It is a challenging map for course play, but after a bit of trial and error with generating courses it all works for me. I like the challenge of working out how to farm theses fields because it gives me more of a sense of realism.

I like your editing and how you use different intro music for each map. Btw. Your going to have a lot of maps to play
Yeah way to many! 😂 Thanks for the kind words mate
The small ranch/farm over by the Horse Ranch, where does the wool go from the sheep?
Beautiful! I started playing this a couple days ago 👏🏻
has anyone else encountered an issue with courseplay on the circular fields? I can get it to work on any other field but the round ones
I didn’t have an issue when I recorded the vid, I demo it at 34:06 just check your courseplay is up to date and you own the field 👍
@@TheFarmSimGuy very odd I own the field, but when I press generate course, the only fields available are the non round fields
sorry I just watched the demo again. I missed that you need to calculate the edge. Thank you very much for the help.
@@am9505 all good bud, glad it helped
Technically, Plainview is in the Texas Panhandle - really more like North Central Texas rather than West Texas. Folks from the western most parts of Texas sometimes take issue with outsiders calling places in the panhandle "West Texas."
North central is like dfw denton vernon etc
Nice map review again and an interesting map. Great job.
Thanks, it’s a really interesting map!! Not sure I’d want to attack it as a solo game 😂
@@TheFarmSimGuy Yep. I've played on a few 16x maps but end up playing a 2x part of it!!! Nice and different style of map though!
Love the map, love the panhandle area of Texas. Would like to see someone make a map of the Mertens/Frost Texas area. Big farming on the Blackland Prairie. We operate a cattle and hay ranch on the Blackland Prairie.
Awesome map. I have been waiting for a map of the area where I live. I am in the county west of Hale County.
Ty ty ty man ive been looking for a map like this absolutely love this map =)
No worries man, enjoy playing it 👍
I lived in Plainview for quite some time didn't even know this map existed
What to do with those box generator with tanks thingy on the side of non circular fields? do I put in water or fuel or liquid fertilizer or what?
I think they are just decoration
@@TheFarmSimGuy there seems to be a trigger on it as pressing f4 or f5 i think on pc shows a big orange box which is a trigger around the thingy. ill try tinkering with it when I get the chance to
That dairy farm would be quite a multiplayer joint effort for FSG MP
community down the line!!
I thought exactly the same when I saw it, you'd need an army just to run it
@@TheFarmSimGuy we got the fsg army lol
Indeed. Took a break from community playing as rl concerns began to dominate. I rather enjoy the sensibility brought by FSG; all-in for the game and NOT a pontificating lecturer. I prefer my entertainment and absolutely separated😎. Class act FSG!
@@mesamkiv7960 Genuinely man, you don;t know how much that means! I put real effort into producing content that I think people will like so to hear that makes all the hours worthwhile! Thank you!
@@TheFarmSimGuy hey...sorry to bug you, but try as I might I have not found the trigger in the dairy farm fir cattle...can you help?
If you go in that one building at the livestock dealership there's like a place to auction off cattle
pretty spot on for plainview,tx..like it
Great to hear, I've never been but from what I know about the area it feels pretty good, but nice to have it confirmed by you local guys
I’m from western Oklahoma but was thinking the same thing.
Now that’s a map love it!
Everytime I try to save my game on this map for some reason it just freezes on the "saving content" screen. Does anybody know why?
Sorry I've not seen that issue before, it could be for many reasons from not enough disc space to a dodgy mod. try loading the game with no mods installed and save it, see if that works, at least then you'll have narrowed it down to being a mod, if it still does it, there may be a problem with your FS19 install, or that specific save game.
@@TheFarmSimGuy Ok thanks. I'll have to try it. I was pretty excited to play on this map when I first saw this video.
I was wondering at the ethonal plant do you use the distiller grain for feeding cattle like some maps on fs17
From someone who use to farm in west texas we called the irrigation pivots
Thanks man
Do you own the land? Silly question I know but thought I’d check, the trigger point is very small to I remember that
@@TheFarmSimGuy yes I do I gave up for now lol I live in Texas and really like the map. Wish more people played it
There's no points to buy bulk seed, liquid fertilizer,or herbicide is there? All I can find is Lime
Did you try Autodrive? I could not get the vehicles past the erregation Systems. Always stopping on the middle of the Road. My guess is some Kind of collision causing this...
No I've not tried autodrive yet
i downloaded the map and installed it but it just shows the loading screen and dosent open. any help would be appreiated
Start the game with no mods running, if it loads it's a mod problem 👍
@@TheFarmSimGuy thanks ill try that
I've Been playing on this map for a couple weeks. I like it. When I first started playing it the pivots were stationary. I cant get course play to map all the fields yet.
I can't either, and I'm afraid it may be a deal breaker
Okay can anyone tell me how to fill and operate the Lindsey pivots in the map.
I’m not sure what mods you are using but that sounds more related to the vehicles themselves rather than the map
@@TheFarmSimGuy it is happening with base game trailers and harvesters
Does this not work on multiplayer? Been trying to get this map to work on my gportal server but I just sit at the loading menu waiting for game host acceptance. Wish I could play on my dedicated server 😕
Absolutely it does, I'm currently running a multiplayer on it 👍
I downloaded the map, and I have to ask...how do the hired help work on the circular fields??? Is it an issue where I have to cut the field into a square first?
Im not sure to be honest I only tested it with Courseplay, but they should work, they work determined by the field edges so should jsut run horizontally or vertically across the field. let me know if it works.
@@TheFarmSimGuy course play doesn't work for me on circular fields
@@am9505 I demo it at 33:52 in the video, as long as you own the land it should be fine
Map looks great!
Im playing on this map and i bought the dairy farm and i put some cows at the dairy and i fed tmr to the cows but tmr shows 0 percent after i fed tmr to the cows. I was wondering if you know what to do or how to feed the cows at the dairy
I cant open the gate at the dealership
,any clue how to open it
Its only open certain hours .look for sign on gate
great drive through wondering how to get the new updated version. the link is for a older version
Nope that's the most up to date version, anything higher than that isn't from the original modder and should be avoided
Have you tried to use the lanscaping textures? When I try to build a gravel road I have grass in the texture. Matter of fact it’s all the textures I use to build my farm
I hadn’t checked that out but I’ll take a look
@@TheFarmSimGuy 10.4 thanks. I’m curious if it’s just me and I have a mod conflict
all you do is smooth out the ground to remove the grass texture
@@FillyGman I get that but thats not normal. There’s an issue
@@Razorbackfever Yes Sir there is. There is a line of code that can be removed from the map that will prevent that from happening, but it impacts how the grass he has in it will grow back I believe.
I didn't see the meat works, is there one?. We can sell meat but where do we produce it?
I’m still working that out, will probably do a follow up vid
@@TheFarmSimGuy I noticed yards on the back of a building , think it was the Cagills place, maybe there??

great map, im loving this map
On Xbox
15:39 those are cicadas, not crickets, and with how loud they are being id assume its hot as hell. funny enough i dont usually hear cicadas around lubbock
I have a problem with this map. Have only about 10 sell points and no price showing in pda for the grains (wheat, barley, oat, canola, soybeans), nothing. Just prices for wool, grass, hay, straw, meat (only in mcdonald’s), sugarbeet and potatoes. Any ideas? Mod conflict perhaps?
Yes definitely sounds like a mod conflict, try a new game save with just the mods included in the ZIP and see if that works.
@@TheFarmSimGuy finally get ir resolved. Ir was a mod conflict with the 'GSI grain complex / con dryer' mod. Now I can't get the prices back. Any ideas? TÍA!
hello why when I buy a vehicle in the store it turns black, when I buy cattle they all turn black, what is the error map WEST TEXAS V2.1.0.4 FS19 PC

Can you suggest a few maps that have good contract work? Something similar to the default maps. My GF and I play together and many of the model maps we have looked at had very few or no contracts available.
Sure, What sort of maps do you like playing? US or European?
Location is not a concern, she gets really annoyed with steep hills though! I like taking multiple smaller fields and extending them out, joining them together, clearing out trees and flattening uneven areas to make a much nicer field for less cost than buying a ready made large field.
I can find something to entertain myself on most any map, we are mainly looking for maps that have good contracts for her.
@@alanprihoda7772 Maybe have a look at Deere Country by DJ Modding or some of the maps from MRG? Farmersburg could be fun
Thanks, we well give those a look!

How did you get the train to work? I am really bummed I cannot figure it out and would love some assistance on how to get it!
The train just works I’ve not done anything to make it work
@@TheFarmSimGuy maybe I installed the map on the wrong mod hub? Where did you download it from.
@@TheFarmSimGuy is it because I am running a newer version of the map?
Have you tried course play on the circle irrigated fields? I could not get it to work.
On a few you have to generate the field edge course and then generate the actual course. I have been using course play on it from day one. It is a challenging map for course play, but after a bit of trial and error with generating courses it all works for me. I like the challenge of working out how to farm theses fields because it gives me more of a sense of realism.
Just saw your work around, thanks
Did you find it in the video @bill?
Where can we find that Ford
I think I’ve already linked it in the comments
