Slaughter house is on the back of the Cargills building, unload trigger is at the loading ramp, pickup meat from inside the open door.
Awesome!! Thanks man great stuff

Finally a good big Texas map! As a Texan I can say this map looks and feels very authentic to West Texas Lubbock/Amarillo area. Cotton is big in this region. Caprock Canyons State Park is even on there. If I can buy a burrito at an Allsup’s convenience store in town then I’ll know I’m in West Texas for sure.
Haha, Nice one Scott, glad it's authentic, I did have a look at Google Maps
Definitely need an Alsups fried burrito.
@@billziegenhagen I've never tried one but I really want to now! haha
Where is the Whataburger franchise store?
@@TigerOutlaw67 Whataburger for sure. I need my breakfast tequitos. A DQ and gas station out in the middle of no where as well! LOL
As a native Texan, I approve of this map. Maybe a bit too lush looking for west Texas...
Too many good maps, not enough time!
Agreed, I'm from West Texas and my first thought was that it is a little too green, but aside from that, it looks great!
@@TuplexGaming I'd love to see a Texas map with some proper Johnson grass or Buffalo grass - the grass we mow for hay here is, at least anywhere I've seen it, a yellow to golden brown color, even in the prime of growing season - it just naturally doesn't get real green
Facts it’s actually far to green for the people in Texas lol if you ever go threw west Texas you will see a lot of brown
Yes its way to green. Them aspects will be changed. No it will probably will never be 100% accurate. I'm trying to give people options as to what they could do in the map but keep it as accurate as possible. At this time its trying to get the feel of gameplay feedback from people. In general what would be worth adding into the map.
@@marcausgossett865 Totally understand! I'm certainly not bothered by it, more just a general comment. Ggreat work and looking forward to whatever updates may come!
Finally, A Texas map and realistic cow pastures! Amazing work.
I live in Texas and I definitely see Texas in this map. Can’t wait to try this one
Is it coming out for console
@@Kameron16 ya i would like to know too I play ps4 and I like how that map looks
@@Kameron16 no it can’t come out bc it gots McDonald’s and stuff like that sorry bro
I love this map because I grew up about an hour from Plainview and this really was the first map that felt like where I grew up on the farm in Texas. I wish I could share my edit of it, but I don't have the permissions to do so. I've added more cars and life to the city area, made the canyons and washouts and other low lying areas in the maps and fields flood during rains, made it maizeplus compatible and added propane, calf husbandry, anhydrous, and a few other crops.
Sounds great! nice work.
Class act FSG. Your production style and “all-in” focus on the game result in a very satisfying experience.
Wow thanks so much, I really appreciate it!
You are, of course, very, very welcome, sir. FarmSim has long been a favorite game of mine as it meets my need for escape and fantasy. As the darkness of our current existential threat continues unabated I find the game - supplemented by your fine content - very reminiscent of my favorite Islay malts (for the record, I enjoy Lagavulin and Ardberg (yes I know owned by Glenmorangie which I enjoy as well) and warming up to relative newcomer Kilchoman); forgive the presumption if you please. Stay safe and best of luck with your channel. I will continue to take in your content.
I like how some of you guys can have the segments of your video highlighted in the progress bar. If I have questions about a specific part of the subject, I can go right to that particular point. keep up the good work.
I live about 2 1/2 hrs away from Plainview, Texas and I must say ..... this is very very close to the real thing..... obviously there are more buildings and businesses in the real town that can not be added on here (space restrictions) but none the less very very good and realistic........ NICE WORK
After seeing this video and listening to your commentary, I subscribed. Really great video, top-notch! Thanks for taking a look at a map that others have overlooked. And the part of the country where I came from we called those large cattle areas pastures :) Keep up the amazing content!
Thanks, really appreciate the comment 👍
hats off for the builder, and a great aplausse for you for showing!!!
Thanks Eric, it's a great map for sure!
Great map tour, I was aware of this map but didn't realise the scope of it! So much thought has gone in to it, top work 👍👍

I lived in Olton, about 20 miles west of Plainview. That’s a great farming area. I remember the tractor supply being my favorite place in Plainview as a kid
Beautiful! I started playing this a couple days ago 👏🏻
I live in TX, ranch/farm in W Texas. This is very realistic! Thanks for the review!
My pleasure 👍
I grew up in the Texas Panhandle about an hour north of Plainview. This map isn't a replica of the area, but it does a perfect job of modeling the environment to make a fun map to work in FS19. If only irrigation was an actual thing in FS19 it would really make the center pivot sprinklers something worth using. The center-pivot fields also make me wish Guidance steering worked with curves.
Check out Red dirt country that does have working center pivots, I’m hoping it’s a future update doe this map too 👍
And the funny thing is as much as you showed us there is still so much more to it in farms still and even a BGA too! Plus the sugar place also takes sugar cane too as well.
It is an awesome map no ands if's or doubts about it.
Thanks for the review and first look at the map great job and reaction to it!
Thanks, yeah still discovering stuff all the time 👍
@@TheFarmSimGuy I bet you are like I just did places have an opening and closing time for one.
Doing fantastic work FSG!

Now that’s a map love it!
There are so many great maps on the mod network that go unnoticed. The past my I did was Senaca county. Good map.
Ty ty ty man ive been looking for a map like this absolutely love this map =)
No worries man, enjoy playing it 👍
This map looks wonderful. I was hoping the dairy was actually going to be a proper feed lot for cattle. The lot I work at in North Central Kansas holds 12000 head. Im looking forward to working this map though.
22:35 it was at this moment that I fell in love with the map! That's how we raise cattle in real life in Washington, that's a definite download for me :D
I've gotta say it blew me away
it’s definitely something to blow you away by Farm Sim standards haha. But in real life, that’s actually an average sized dairy farm for the area. Where I live, the biggest farm milks 10,000 head of dairy cattle!
@@TheCarpetFarmer In RL I haul Milk form the Biggest Dairy in the Northwest ....
I downloaded and started a save for this map. I hadn't done anything as yet. Though I do believe this will be my next map. Plainview is about 280 miles from where I live in DFW area. Good job on the tour!
I’m from DFW too. I always enjoyed the drive to Lubbock to visit my children when they were attending university there.
You’ve mentioned a few times you were looking for a decent Texas map! I thought you’d be pleased when I found this

Nice map review again and an interesting map. Great job.
Thanks, it’s a really interesting map!! Not sure I’d want to attack it as a solo game 😂
@@TheFarmSimGuy Yep. I've played on a few 16x maps but end up playing a 2x part of it!!! Nice and different style of map though!
Have done a lot of loads out of that Cargill when I drove for TransAm Trucking lol... beautiful area to visit...
Awesome stuff!
I've been playing this map for a couple months now. good map. and a fyi those are called center pivot irrigation. Valley, Zimmatic, Rienke, and T&L are 4 of the major brands of which all originated in Nebraska where I'm from. Oh and most people in the USA call (the area's where the cows are) a "pasture".
Nice one thanks for the info Toby
@@TheFarmSimGuy Your very welcome. I'm happy to see a few maps that have center pivot fields, In the Usa there is a lot of center pivot irrigation used and hardly anyone has made map's that include them! Here in Western Nebraska where I'm from the fields are still square or odd shaped even with a pivot on them, we still farm the corners just usually in a dry land concept or irrigated with gated pipe. The map Royalton also has a few center pivot fields. I'd love for someone to make a map based off of Western Nebraska, we do have a few specialty crops like sugar beets not everywhere raises them, Western Nebraska, Eastern Wyoming, Texas, Minnesota and North Dakota is the main states they are raised, we also raise quite a few edible beans here, like pinto's, kidney, small reds, and 90% of the worlds supply of Great Northern beans. Any way enough of my rambling, thanks for your vids always good content, thanks to you I'm now using the Sim Dashboard mod and loving it! Have a good day!
@@tobyneal8501 Just have to Google maps the west Nabraska area and the 100's of pivots that out there are amazing. they show up so easily
Definitely would do multiplayer on this in a heartbeat
Nice map :)
Just a tid bit on the irrigation they're actually called irrigation pivots. Great video
Always called em Center Pivots in CO
Nice video... just stumbled across it today, WAY late, but still enjoyed it! This is a nicely laid out map, lots of good details, I see that the mapper ripped my train and the custom scripts for it out of my Nebraska Lands USA map along with other scenery parts... I would likely not have minded, but asking for permission first would have been appreciated... anyways, thanks for a well done video!
Thanks man, and sorry to hear that I wasn’t aware. Such a shame so many modders think it’s ok to rip of others hard work
@The FarmSim Guy. A thought occurs that it may not have picked up by any RUclipsrs or other Content creators as in the form you have shown us it does contain a number of Trade Marked Companies. People are probably not wanting to fall foul of The You Tube or Twitch Police and risk getting any strikes against them. A nice looking map though. Thankyou for the review.
Excellent map. So many well thought out realistic features. I think that is large beef feedlot not a dairy farm though. The first time I flew over the USA Midwest I saw those circular fields from the air. Looks weird from thousands of feet up. It’s just the circular field irrigation systems they use.
It’s got full dairy equipment and milk tanks and the sign says dairy, but I’m sure you could use it for beef too
great map, im loving this map
On Xbox
Awesome map. I have been waiting for a map of the area where I live. I am in the county west of Hale County.
pretty spot on for plainview,tx..like it
Great to hear, I've never been but from what I know about the area it feels pretty good, but nice to have it confirmed by you local guys
I’m from western Oklahoma but was thinking the same thing.
Mr FarmSim Guy, thanks for the tour. Gonna download it now... Can't wait. Just can't help to mention... You sound JUST like Squirrel, are you Squirrel? Lol, if no, are you sure?? You guys sound identical... Seriously.
Haha, Thanks Chris, you are not the first person to say that to me! but no we're definitely not the same person 🙂👍
@@TheFarmSimGuy hahahaha. Just to mention... you are now my favourite farming sim channel. Your map tours are just out of this world. Comprehensive and so well setup. I have now downloaded 5 maps in the last 30 min based on your recommendation. Still dont know how I'm going to play them all but yes. Keep up the awesome work!
Love the map, love the panhandle area of Texas. Would like to see someone make a map of the Mertens/Frost Texas area. Big farming on the Blackland Prairie. We operate a cattle and hay ranch on the Blackland Prairie.
Dude we NEED a playthrough on this map!
Glad you like it, maybe in the not to distant future 👍
That's a decent dairy. But I keep waiting for somebody to build a KS feedyard. They usually feed between 10,000-300,000 hd of cattle a day. Imagine the contracts
I am not sold on the accuracy of this map, in the US, all taco bells are halved with KFC. But joking aside this looks like an incredibly detailed map. Great stuff from the creator and great tour FSG!
Thanks mate, lol at the KFC/Taco Bell gag 😂
In Texas most Taco Bell’s are standalone or share with Pizza Hut.
I grew up in the county next to hale. Palo duro canyon is the state park and the lake is lake Tanglewood if I'm not mistaken. It's the second largest canyon in north America.
I've Been playing on this map for a couple weeks. I like it. When I first started playing it the pivots were stationary. I cant get course play to map all the fields yet.
I can't either, and I'm afraid it may be a deal breaker
I had just started with this map today and you make a video on it. How cool is that ! Just the circle fields through me for a loop. Not certain about that. I still gave it a try tho.
Haha, spooky!
I lived in Plainview for quite some time didn't even know this map existed
I was wondering at the ethonal plant do you use the distiller grain for feeding cattle like some maps on fs17
My dad was a cotton farmer around Hale Center, we went broke about 6 years ago but everything is very accurate, especially the Taco Bell right next to the McDonald’s!
I've had a lot of comments saying how accurate it is, which is great. Sorry to hear the farm didn't work out. It's a tough industry these days.
@@TheFarmSimGuy prices go up and down whenever and wherever, but I was actually in Plainview last Saturday to look at a truck, the place is great.

From someone who use to farm in west texas we called the irrigation pivots
thanks
I would love to have that map on consoles thanks for doing this video I’m from south tx
cool map
Not sure if anyone’s said it yet; but the pivots do work when filled with chemicals. It’s all done manually, though.
Interesting, I'm going to have to have a look at that too. keep an eye out for another video
This is beautiful. And you did such a great job walking us through it. What difficulty did you have it on here? How do you find it plays with the prices so low? That is a lot lower than base game for sure
Thanks for the comment, I've not had a lot of time to play on it yet to test it out, I like the lower prices from the perspective that it's more true to real life, but it's going to make for interesting playing to see how it works properly.
@@TheFarmSimGuy Yeh for sure. I actually commented on your post in FarmSimPC on YT saying the same thing. I always play on hard now myself. But it's daunting seeing the prices of land vs the prices of crops here. Meat looks to be really valuable though so maybe the creator is trying to push people in that direction
Thanks for the great videos! I was looking for a great Texas map and am really enjoying this one. Question, the price screen shows you start with a corn silo. Do you know where that silo is? I haven't found it yet.
Thanks Keith, I don't off the top of my head, have you started in New Farmer mode?
@@TheFarmSimGuy Correct, and its orange under corn saying you have a corn silo. I just can't for the life of me find it. Lol

Great tour as always. I would suggest that, just as you place the link of the map, maybe put a link to the vehicles you use. I love them and keep hoping you would place a link to where you found it, with a disclaimer of course.
Thanks man! Good suggestion! Here's a link to the truck fs19.net/farming-simulator-2019-mods/cars/2011-ford-f350-crewcab-edit-v1-0/ (I think it's this one, I've had it for a while)
Technically, Plainview is in the Texas Panhandle - really more like North Central Texas rather than West Texas. Folks from the western most parts of Texas sometimes take issue with outsiders calling places in the panhandle "West Texas."
North central is like dfw denton vernon etc
That dairy farm would be quite a multiplayer joint effort for FSG MP
community down the line!!
I thought exactly the same when I saw it, you'd need an army just to run it
@@TheFarmSimGuy we got the fsg army lol

I downloaded this map right after your review. Love it but having issues with weight in vehicles. A full water trailer is almost impossible to pull. Same with my potato harvester, can't use over 60% full or it starts to miss crop and bounces.

A couple of issues: Has anyone had trouble getting Courseplay to work on some/most of the fields? I ran into that on several of the round fields, tried many of the CP options, a lot of difficulty getting any course to generate. Found a problem with a section of road on the SE part of the map near field 6 and 8 where vehicles using Autodrive simply stop on the road (all the waypoints are correct), weirdly corrected by moving the transit of vehicles off of the road. This action was strangely near one of the irrigation systems to the east of the sugar plant. Finally, in field 45, when using seeder/cultivator (as a contract), with seeder fully loaded when attempting to run, there was never any change to the soil and no progress on the contract as attempted. Yes, the seeder was lowered and turned on. Attempted this multiply, trying reloading game, etc. Behavior again near the irrigation apparatus in that field. I wonder is there is some sort of glitch? Anyone who has seen this on this map or other, appreciate suggestions. Mostly I have loved this map.
The autodrive stopping is to do with the collision boxes for the irrigation booms it's a frustrating one, I removed a good few of them to solve the issue.
@@TheFarmSimGuy I see. Thanks! The CP seems to work most of the time, mostly likely my inexperience...
I worked for one of the larger manufacturers of the irrigation systems shown on this map and I don't believe there is a correct name for them. I have heard them called center pivots, pivots, irrigators, irrigation systems or sprinklers this depends upon where you are at.
By the way FSG as I'm sure you are aware you won't find any in the UK. The closest ones I can think of are in the Po River delta region of northern Italy.
Interesting stuff, thanks, yes I can safely say I’ve never seen anything like this in the UK

Im about an hour south of Plainview.
Also cargill slaughterhouse is no longer in plainview it was shutdown about 10 years ago
Okay can anyone tell me how to fill and operate the Lindsey pivots in the map.
Anyone know if it is possible to add an ethanol plant on other maps? Or maybe a mod that lets you use corn for fuel instead of canola etc like the global company mod.
You could if you want add Corn as a fill type to the ethanol plant from Lizard, there are a few that come with maps too (Georgetown I think has one) but on the whole it only seems there isn't a specific mod that does it for corn.
of course there is a wall mart, every small town needs one, they even have them in the middle of the ocean
and a dollar general
can you make a video explain how to use the dairy farm im having issues finding triggers and not many videos out there on this map
if you have developer mode turned on you can hit F5 and it will show you the triggers. There is one inside the gate of each of the pens 👍
is this a PC only map ?
Don't remember seeing it on console, I'd love to play it though.
Yeah it’s a big 4x map so PC only I’m afraid
@@TheFarmSimGuy Well that sounds about right.
Can you suggest a few maps that have good contract work? Something similar to the default maps. My GF and I play together and many of the model maps we have looked at had very few or no contracts available.
Sure, What sort of maps do you like playing? US or European?
Location is not a concern, she gets really annoyed with steep hills though! I like taking multiple smaller fields and extending them out, joining them together, clearing out trees and flattening uneven areas to make a much nicer field for less cost than buying a ready made large field.
I can find something to entertain myself on most any map, we are mainly looking for maps that have good contracts for her.
