- Love the dream home you get with Starfield, but didn't do much with it. Decided to use two outposts and placed them as close to the house as possible.
Used one as a military outpost with cargo links to close of the valley entrance (using turrets and robots for security). The other one became the landing site for the house and a huge cliffside base for operations and all my resource storage.
I like building bases that have decorated and functional rooms, first one only has a military guard post, second one has store rooms, bedroom, kitchen, living rooms, entertainment and crafting/operation room.
Cargo link provides iron, aluminium, helium-3 and the outposts themselves provide water and iridium.

Saw a Reddit post that said something about it and wanted to test the limitations myself as they said they couldn't see the house from their bases, wanted to do something to create a compound feel with a closed off valley, that's why I used two outposts in the end!
Fantastic stuff dude but i take it a step further. I go in to detail by placing "junk". Coffee mugs, plates, pens, paper, lights, aquariums, etc. Really makes these outposts pop!
Yeah try to do that, but had to place everything twice as it dropped half through surfaces
yea it can be frustrating for sure. Most things work out okay. Plus I noticed when things fall through surfaces just leave, go to another planet or system, come back and things are fine again. Idk 🤷♂️

Imagine a room full of people going about their jobs. Supervising production, contacting clients, routing shipments, managing inventory, managing the base etc..
You would talk to the Base manager and get the update on production, problems etc..
One day.. soon I hope.

Same, love the planet it is on and really like the house itself a lot. That's why I wanted to do more with it and now it's my home base and storage of all resources!
Same, as soon as I saved up the 125k I bought the place. I was level 10ish.
@@TheLimeInc Can you access the storage in the outpost from the crafting tables in the dream house?
You better build them tall because if you build where there are a lot of trees and shrubs they will grow right through your buildings - rendering them useless.
Whay can you see benzene and Argon for?
How do you have a round hab with windows? Is that a console command on pc?
If you click on the walls you can change them, same with most other habs.

How or where do you get this house?
So you have two outpost there? That isn’t just one?
Even have 3 surrounding it now, checkpoint alpha, checkpoint beta and landing and homebase. In the middle of the 3 is the dream home. All outposts bring in resources from all my other outposts to act as a massive main storage and in the homebase and dream home there are massive storage rooms for more uncommon resources, weapons and gear :)
How far is your outpost from the home? I'm at about 300m unless i put it on a weird mountain 😂
around 200 meter for the two in this clip, 300/400 for the other one, but the last one is my main transport hub so don't really care :)

hate that you only get the house through a trait and that you cant buy it since you dont have the trait
Build your base thier. Then go to Galt Bank and report that some idiot has built a base on your land and it's spoiling the landscape and scenery. That the property value should be less now and the bank should lower your mortgage payments 🤣.
