Oh love! I’ve never seen a grey napkin before 😱 May I recommend Crafting Besties Sublimation paper. No Bleeding. I do use A sub also
I have done white napkins with my clients order and it came out awesome. It is not that your printer is low on ink it is definitely the grey causing the faded color. Next time you have that situation of grey napkins put a distressed look in your artwork then it fits the faded look.
What time and temperature did you use?
If I can remember right it was 15sec at 140deg celsius
The same formula that is for sublimating on clothing will be the same formula for that. Yes, you can sub on colors. But to get the best results, the colors that you’re subbing on should be lighter than the colors that you’re using in your image so because that was a dark gray, that’s the reason why your colors on is vibrant a light gray would’ve worked better

You might want to change your paper type from plain paper to something better. I would start at premium presentation matte and work my way down. Did it bleed through the napkin?
Hi there! Does it have to be dollar tree napkins? I got some of Amazon and followed directions to the T and my sublimation print did not transfer over to the napkin. Would greatly appreciate any suggestions or tips!
So in the end, was it 400 degrees and 60 seconds?

Tried the same technique using epson sc F570 temp 410 degrees time 60sec white napkins from dollar tree and the napkins came out very faint. Any suggestions?
I had the same faded results with the heavier napkins

Yes sublimation ink doesn’t come off 🩵
Your cartridges being filled or not had nothing to do with it. It was because it was a dark gray napkin.
