Being a trumpet player, I know from experience that breaks are always appreciated. (For those who don’t know, spit will occasionally gather inside your mouthpiece {usually when playing difficult or high intensity parts} and make it difficult to play certain rhythms/ notes. Ya gotta take a break and use your sleeve/ shirt to dry out your mouthpiece and wipe off your lips every now and then so you can actually play 😂😂😂) It’s also nice to be able to empty your spit valve once in a while 🤪🤪
