    Shout out to Louis Quigley for getting the teaser (measure 47 in the sousaphone part), and especially to Tom York again for being off by only one measure. Sorry lol I had to mislead you or else everyone would’ve gotten it, really impressive either way!

    Thank you so much for this sheet music, even though I'm not the best trumpet player since I've only started 2 weeks ago, I love coming home from my school learning how to play these pieces.look forward to when I come home is watching one of your vids and playing along. Even though I'm not the best as I can only hit a high a, I view it as satisfactory progress in my challenge of being good enough for trying out my school's jazz band next year.

      @Matt11111

      LOL! 🤣😂 Probably might even need the treble clef to be honest! I know bassoons and cellos use it for their extreme high notes, but not 100% sure if tenor trombones would do the same.

    As someone unfamiliar with sousaphones: is the sousaphone meant to be that quiet, is the microphone crap or is the guy just unable to play well (unlikely, I know, but still a possibility).

    • @nolanhernandez3662
      @nolanhernandez3662 5 лет назад +3

      Well, it can be loud or soft, blasty or smooth. I think that the way it sounds in the video is meant to be that way, and personally(as a tuba/sousa player) it fits the song perfectly. IMO he is a great sousa player, better than i will ever be. But that's my opinion, it's fine if you disagree
