Drvena po meni ima mekši i lepši ton.Ali imam utisak da je drvena puno starija pa piredjenje možda nije korektno.Pozdrav Per.

You are correct. It would probably benefit from cleaning. These old Hohners sound fantastic even if they can be stiff to play!

seems like a good investment, how much did it cost?

What was done to the customized 270 besides replacing the original comb with the Power comb?

If I remember correct there was gapping, profiling, embossing and chamfering? The full package 😀

played quickly, almost all harmonicas sound the same. and noodling around is meaningless. why is it that no one ever plays a recognizable slow melody, so that you can hear what a given harmonica sounds like?

That's a good point! I tried playing some longer notes for that particular reason in the video. Did you find yourself wanting more slow stuff? While all harmonicas sound the same played fast, they don't all respond the same at speed. These two were like comparing a racing car with a tractor 😂

I bought myself a super chromonica 270 with 48 reeds, that thing is simply unplayable, reeds that constantly get stuck and windsavers that constantly stick, cold or warm makes no difference, and certainly in the two highest octaves it is not at all to do it, you have to suck and blow your lungs to pieces to get anything out and I'm sure it has nothing to do with my technique, I don't understand why this instrument gets good reviews on youtube and the internet in general. You are almost obliged to have it adjusted by a customizer.

Did you get the Deluxe version or the regular one? Was it new or second hand?

and you bought it new from store? That doesn't sound right, you might have gotten a bad apple?

@@woelneberg Yes, I bought them new from music store in Germany, and I have already bought a lot of bad apples, including diatonic ones. Honhner no longer has anything to do with Germany, but everything to do with mass production in Asia.

That's a shame! Hohner is usually quite good at QC. I only ever once got a faulty harmonica from them. It was a Super 64 Performance with a broken valve on arrival. I offered to replace it myself but they gave me a new harmonica the same day. While Hohner is no longer a fully German company they still operate in Germany. Administration and production is still fully german except from their very cheapest harmonicas. I believe the 270 is still completely made in Germany, but the design with the wooden comb and nails is a very poor design, but kept a live for what I believe must be nostalgic reasons?
Do you have any experience with Seydel? They are the last 100% German harmonica company. Their customer service is amazing, they are very available for answering questions and follows up their products. Out of all the brands I feel Seydel by far has the most solid construction and design in terms of ergonomics and materials. Every harmonica just feels solid in the hand!
