- So once in a while you make a hard landing :) Not the end of the world and at least you make sure that after a long flight everyone wakes up ;)
Whats cool about this clip is you can see the Just Planes Studios over the wing as it overflies Winthrop... anyway I hope you enjoy the clip, share it with your friends and subscribe. Thank you!
Another week and another 5 videos posted, this one a little different from usual, hope you get a kick out of it and it doesn't break your computer screen :) Wishing you all the best and we'll be back on Wednesday with a new video.
I like see everything a pilot has to encounter, smooth or rough, amazing piloting and grave errors. Thanks!
I think my desk chair is bent now.
I like how he looks over at the Captain almost to say .. “was that hard enough Captain? “ 😃😃
+mikaelsport1...hahaha...exactly
When your only flight training was on FSX steam edition
Joey M lol
Amazing how many people didn't know the A300/310 have normal control columns!!
I'm a plane fan and I didn't know that either!
Yoke*
I Knew that Because I am a Loyal Airbus Fan, they had the Yoke and the old control cable system when Airbus was born, Now they got the awesome Flight Stick with FBW
Scary GPWS ..
It happens at any stage of your career once in a while. And the flight deck was stuffed with cameras so no pressure on him at all...
Every pilot that's flown a large aircraft have had one of those....I have, it's very humbling
When computer started counting down faster than usual the pilot must have realised what's coming...
Those Boston potholes...
+Andrew Burke...hahahaha...i love that comment
I got whiplash after he landed
Ohh he nearly fell off the chair. But lets be fair. It might be a windy day. Thanks for the video!
wind was 210/14. Mind you ive done this in calm winds
For that hard of a landing and barely any flare (looks like it was attempted though) it was probably light windshear.
He was slightly crabbing on the approach
He just didn't flare enough.
That VSI was still pinned at 500fpm during touchdown
Audible couldn’t call out the number fast enough
Oh man I loved that. Watched it twice.
Awesome, I love it :)
Goodness. My entire screen and desk shook!!
When your student pilot forgot to flare
Awesome, some excitement after a long boring flight
I think its the A310 from SATA that is now called Azores Airlines. The captain's accent it's definitly Portuguese.
Cool 🛩
I'm sure you will become very respected Ryanair employee :D
Bad air day
This one needs likes :D.
Is this an A300 or A310? Rare to see the "old fashioned" controls on an Airbus nowadays!
Surprising Horizons says at the start A310
My back hurts.
Hehe nice one ;)
Hello guys,
Just to answer a fellow airman. This an Airbus A310, with a yoke. Very stable and smooth plane.
Greetings to all.
Last flight for that old bird.....wingtips hit the runway lol
Ahahah that was awesome, imagine how it felt in yhe back of the airplane..
The glance at the pilot to the left after the rough touchdown..
The radio altitude announcements appeares to sqeuence faster than usual, perhaps due to a higher than usual sink rate, which coiuld not be arrested with the usual control inputs for the flare. The FO may have been genuinly surprised. The passangers would never ask again, why they need to fold their tray tables and faster their seatbelts for landings....
To be fair though the A300/310 flys like a bank vault. And when you whipe the power out....RIP
Nice job, captain kangaroo
Ow. I felt that in my spine.
Any landing you walk away from is a good one..
It was the plane, captain!!!!
Compared to the other landing videos that I have seen this airplane came down a little too fast. Anyone with experience care to elaborate?
Wow the title of this video is funny and hilarious
That "Fatty" Airbus A310. Another Airbus classic that I love.
Which video is this an excerpt from? What is the name of the complete video?
For the benefit of those who might have some back pain, would you kindly share with us which airlines it was? I suspect SATA...
I bet everything on Ryanair
F.O. is like : "What ? Did I really smash like that ??"
Sweet Jezuz, he buried it.
Igor at the controlls might had a tad bit tooo much Vodka the night before???
Wow.
hard sitdown!!!)
Which Just Planes DVD program is this from? Not sure who does an A310 to Boston
www.worldairroutes.com/Sata.html
That thing has the same chart holders as the Lear 45.
If i was the pilot i would say "did we get that on video, we did!? lets ......... not post it!"
Firm landing, some days just not your day happens to the best, once your down safe its a successful landing, i know people it looks easy but its not.
Oww what a hard landing.. I think it s because of he almost didnt flare at all🤔
0:41 actually dying.....
Favorite aircraft Airbus A310
How old is this Airbus supposed to be?
lmaooo that'll FOR SURE wake everyone up 🤷🏾♀️😅
Ouch
Wind was ok. Poor flare. Retraining needed
I think the captain made a new english word Jeasy.... It’s when you want to say Jesus and easy at the same time lol.
Butter
well thats clearly an A310-300 by looking at the wingtip and the old fashioned Joystick....ive flown in them and basically grew most of my life watching them and the A300-600
Oops!...,I did it again....
Did the captain say “easy” just after touch down?
anirban747 I think he said “Jesus!”
Lol :)
Yes, but he should have said that a little earlier.
Chiisas
wtf...uffffff..hard landing
He's probably just new...
Almost no flare
i thought airbus had a side stick, but i'm seeing a yoke..not completely sure..maybe someone can explain
Omari Joseph The A300 has a yoke
It happens... what now... maybe the wind knock airplane, air can be different over the water level and then againg, a lot of factors... so, its not that rare. I've experienced a lot of landings like this
and i really love airbus a300
First !! Morocco ❤️❤️🇲🇦🇲🇦
Ali Wydadi
Congratulations with the world cup qualification sahbi!
Weird seeing a yoke in an Airbus.
A300?
A310.
A310
It should be an a310, it was one of the first airbus to get fly-by-wire altough the sidestick came first with the a320 family
No, the A310 is not fly-by-wire, and never was. What it introduced was EFIS, or electronic flight instrument system, otherwise known as "glass cockpit". It allowed it to be operated by a 2-person flightcrew without a flight engineer.
pinkdispatcher very correct 👌
Fiftyfortythirtytenfive OUCH
More like shattered tailbone.
What plane? This one is O - L - D
is this the a310 or a300
I didn’t know that the airbus also have a yoke
He forgot to flair. Didn't even attempt to.
Jesus
didn’t know airbus could also have these yokes.
300, 310. google 'em
Thot the new Airbus comes with Joy stick, could be an old airbus A300?
why didn't the capt make any corrections? even as you hear the the RA passing rapidly, no one takes care.. totally avoidable..
SATA?!!!
Airbus A310 with people in it? Don‘t see that very often these days. Often they are used as cargo planes
Pilots break, maintenance guys fix.
aaaaaauuuuuu :( I dont know, but the pilot has done no flare ... he was just looking into the ground and then was surprised, what happened ...
"Breaking News" Earthquake Along Boston...
i guess that captain had laissez-faire style or else he will be punched in his head :D
Well that was embarrassing.
5 feet ( at that moment he knew he fcked up
I had no idea there were Airbus planes without sidesticks. Looks like 320 family from the wing view? Can anyone shed any light on this?
A300. The first Airbus plane
I Think is a a300.
thats clearly an A310-300 by looking at the wingtip and the old fashioned Joystick....ive flown in them and basically grew most of my life watching them and the A300-600
The old Airbus has the regular yoke. This is an A310 or A300.
I suspect it’s an Azores a310
Wheel borrowed it, who needs to flare? That's very bad. A300 had yokes. "reverse is green, spoiler deployed, see me later."
What did the wheel borrow?
ouch
Ryanair?
How are you all able to tell that it is an A310 and not an A300? Not trying to stir the pot, honestly curious. Thanks.
Difference is only external www.airlinerspotter.com/images/airliner-spotting-charts/airbus-a300-a310-comparison.jpg
Lets see. you can walk away and they can use the airplane again.. I would say it is a good landing..
Thats the first generation of Airbus..the A300/A310 have jokes..
Theres a yoke
Is this a a300
Wait airbus has yoke? I thought they use sidestick.
Airbus a310 and 300 is yoke
Not uncommon. Runway 27 is short at 7000’. Boston is a scary airport because of the crosswinds
I thought all the airbus are using fly by wire side-stick. hm..
300, 310. google 'em
Boeing joystick in airbus :D
Is airbus a300 310
We don't have a yoke in Airbus aircraft....???
On A300/A310 yes
kindly google it
