  • So once in a while you make a hard landing :) Not the end of the world and at least you make sure that after a long flight everyone wakes up ;)
    Whats cool about this clip is you can see the Just Planes Studios over the wing as it overflies Winthrop... anyway I hope you enjoy the clip, share it with your friends and subscribe. Thank you!

      For that hard of a landing and barely any flare (looks like it was attempted though) it was probably light windshear.

    The radio altitude announcements appeares to sqeuence faster than usual, perhaps due to a higher than usual sink rate, which coiuld not be arrested with the usual control inputs for the flare. The FO may have been genuinly surprised. The passangers would never ask again, why they need to fold their tray tables and faster their seatbelts for landings....

    • @pinkdispatcher
      @pinkdispatcher 6 лет назад +5

      No, the A310 is not fly-by-wire, and never was. What it introduced was EFIS, or electronic flight instrument system, otherwise known as "glass cockpit". It allowed it to be operated by a 2-person flightcrew without a flight engineer.
