I think this type of race is also fun.
Any time when a race has tires as a strategy I turn TC up to 1. It doesn't really reduce my pace and it saves my tires by at least 2 fold
great racing again Rory,I nearly fell over when you turned on TC!! I tried it too, must admit good shout for TC,cheers and yes it's a bad idea to fiddle with buttons at high speed, Road Atlanta is a fantastic track in my opinion 👍👍👍
I resisted it for a good while but chat pretty much forced me into it after 5 races with a spin on the bounce… but I’m glad I did!
@@EERIEISSSS You might be able to use countersteer assist on weak instead of TCS. Countersteer assist can help prevent the spinouts without negatively impacting tire wear in the way TCS does.
It's always the last lap that gets ya. Good race, nonetheless. I had the lead in the Tsukuba (not spelled right) kart race until I caught the curbing a little on an exit and blew the lead. Oh well!!
This seems like you need yo be a combination of obsessively clean plus just the right power and tire wear strategy. Would be a fun thing to watch you grind and experiment with over several attempts.
This race is super fun this week, lucky for me everyone pits and I just keep getting a podium finish lol.
The fast pace shicane of corner 4/5 on dead Tires and on Controller is actually Build different. Also aomehow in my Rating (B S) everybody is still Pitting. What would you say from wich average laptime on the pit stop is worth it?

I'm pretty sure someone during the week will find a best strategy and car combo to preserve tires and then everyone will use that and it will be fine. I think everyone has the same handicap, so let the best on used tires win!

we need a proper puncture simulation 😅 at this point you can do infinte laps and "dead" tyres with only 2-3 second slower laptimes

Ok guys I am new I been in B Dr right now I been playing on A Dr but men my car is spinning off so much every brand every race It can not be me I just drive on B with some A I was doing great some of you is happening the same like something is not right?

Seems like there’s always a flaw with any daily race PD gives us at the moment … it could be a great race ‘but’
Why i cant have my livery in daily race B?
PD found a bug where BoP locked events could still have all car settings like suspension, diff, gearing etc adjusted. Their workaround until this is fixed is to publish events with only renter cars available, which means no liveries.

If there's any shame for using TC, then there should be some for using gears for breaks.
Also, for brakes 😉 But yeah, these guys all use TC in ACC so why not GT7?
Most race car drivers don't use TC (standing starts are an exception), but everyone with a manual or sequential gearbox uses engine braking. So I'm not sure why they should be considered alike. One is a crutch, the other is using effective performance driving techniques.
this game is not fair, running with no tires should do massive difference between someone did change tires, you can't just run with no tires and still do almost same lap times!!? not fair

This week race C is absolute garbage. I had a miserable time on my one and only attempt. I feel sorry for all the streamers who have to put up with this for the rest of the week.
I enjoyed this one even tough my tires are dead in the last lap. Still managed to get one win. Also it sucks i cant use cudtom liveries now
