unpopular opinion: I liked the race before the change. I dont mind driving with terrible tires, as long as everyone around me got the same. Handling the worn out tires is a different set of driving Skills.
And its more chaotic , and who doesnt like a bit of Chaos.
But the race after the Change has it charme aswell
I enjoy the chaos, apart from when I am centre stage!
Except that driving with completely meatless tyres is just not fun... At all. You are not fast, braking zones triple in size, your steering angles quadruple etc... AND it's just not realistic at all.
It's fun to drive from full to worn tyres, seeing how everyone handles the added pressure and changes to the tracks layout (since braking zone changes, the cornering changes etc) but it's not fun to drive with completely degraded tyres (100% red).
We all like chaotic races, but chaotic as in you got no idea when you'll overtake or someone overtaking you in a complete madness of a corner and surviving, not chaotic as in tyres completely damaged and players randomly not on their own accord just spin out and take you out of the game because of the damn 100% damaged tyre.

I watched your first race without even playing it myself, last night I jumped on and did the whole race on fucked tyres and finished 1st……..only to realise they introduced the mandatory pit stop haha, I actually came last🙄.

We will never get 20-24 car daily race grids, more iconic racing circuits and current race cars with proper BOP. GT7 is just broken in a different way than Forza and it is kinda sad the backwards steps it took from GT Sport.

Anyone knows why you can't use your own cars from the garage on Sport mode now?
There was a glitch where you could change the car's tuning settings even though BOP was supposed to apply. To fix the issue temporarily, you can't use garage cars for now.
why do you always short shift coming out of the turns? You're losing on the torque band.
Ja by a fairly big margin especially 10+ lap races.. Vettes are short shiftable, BMW's like the red line.
To not die! Sometimes max torque, especially in this car, isn’t always best for me
@@EERIEISSSS Ja ist fine Rory, we all have different tactics und obviously it works great for you. Was not a criticism. I know if you take the older generation of M series out in AC, AMS2, PC2 they can be very ass happy with little input. Keep doing what your doing, good man mit fun content.
@EERIEISSSS ok. I understand, but when I watch you race, I hope you stay in it and not the the other drivers bully you because they know you race clean and try to beat the with better driving. At the cost of a lower finish, but I honestly love your style of racing. I, on the other hand, fight back.. lol
The BMW has a lot of power over steer and short shifting a turbo car especially means. Less gear shifts on the straight(although they are only short) More traction than the cars in front depending on what they do.
Id like to know how u guys get a 1:17.400 lap time or better. The fastest ive got is 1:18.182 and i had the car gripping to hold on for all it had and dont think i could push any harder.
I’m the same but it all comes down to 3 things: skill, knowledge and experience!

@@volkmerrodrigo Ive noticed the harder i push, the slower i get. Ive even watched race replays to see what the leaders are doing and even when i do the same thing, bupkis. Idk man.
@@volkmerrodrigo I wish i had kept up with Gran Turismo all these years between 4 and 7 because i stopped playing GT when they made my chase cam so stiff. I was so quick at GT3 that all my friends would come up to play and they couldnt keep up with me. On GT1 and 2, i would use slower cars than my buddies and still win because i was quicker through corners. But like i said, i bought GT4 and when i seen my chase cam was locked, i gave the game away and stopped playing GT.
@@Cj1985_GT so you are saying to me that the game gives privileges to A+ drivers? I would love if that was true, that would explain to me why I keep spinning when I use the Supra or the Genesis Gr3 with TC 0
@@Cj1985_GT You'd be amazed how much time you lose on slightly suboptimal lines and overly long braking zones. It really can add up to seconds per lap. Gear choice also matters, letting you decelerate more effectively and giving you greater speed out of corners when you get it right. The really good players drive clean lines, minimize coasting, engine brake like a mofo, and get on the accelerator the instant they have traction.
I still dont know what "the change" is...

Added a mandatory pit stop. Usually to be a 0 stop race until they changed it.

Before, you had to run 13 laps on Soft tires with no pit. But by the time the 7th lap came around, your tires were BARELY alive. Which meant you had 6 more laps on DEAD TIRES. But they added the mandatory pit stop so the ones that cant save tires might stand a chance. My A rating took a hit because of 4 attempts of this race. So i stopped before it got to a B rating. I was gonna just wait til Monday to see what track was next so that my hard work wasnt pissed away by 2 factors. 1, Im not the best at Road Atlanta. And 2, i dont know how to save tires.

From what I heard, there was a glitch using your own cars. When using your own cars from your garage, you can change the setup on your car, and that's not the way they intended it for the bop. If you entered the settings, exited, then entered right back in again, you could change the setup. So, to avoid the change of setup, they made everyone drive cars from the game garage.
The change was bollocks. I had a few wins before the changes just by being consistent. It certainly made up for any first lap fuckery
but why we can't use our cars ?!
That Kjedlor is the worst. Fast but makes loads of mistakes and blocks after making an error.
