Did this trophy on the controller last year. Sat for 6 hours on the license challenges with the drift mission and the last one at spa.
Safe to say i was pretty frustrated and tired after i got it, but very satisfied.

@@TUFFOLDMAN that one at daytona was killer. Sat for hours and couldn’t get it, while being 1-2k pts low over the line. Then suddenly out of nowhere i hit it and got it. That feeling when i got it was so amazing and i’m so glad i sat through it and got platinum.
@@christofferrsnes9508 so the joy is that I will at some point have to do it again as I have started GT7 from scratch... and yes, the drift is my nightmare challenge.

This is nothing, it's just stuff that people wouldn't do unless going for the trophy AND loving the game, I'm just bitter though because I have the GT Sport platinum which was harder

To me lots of those challenges were very difficult. Did it all on hard level. You might be a better driver though 😉

I've had a the Platinum for a long time and achieved it quite easily with a controller. However, I have one mission left to complete, as well as the Circuit Experience for the Nurburgring (full lap, I have gold on all the sectors). One day I will have to sit down and solve these. Congratulations to all of you working on unlocking everything! I strongly encourage your behavior!
i lately replayed that, did a 6:26.8. when the game came out i started immediately 100%ing everything and because there were no global leaderboards, i went for 1st in my friends list in every license test, mission and circuit xp test, and i had guys like manurodry in my friends list…
took so damn long and then they reset all times when the big tire update came. oh and i also tried until i had gold 2 everywhere, basically meaning you take the difference between silver and gold and shave that off the gold time. so if bronze is 1:40, silver is 1:35, gold is 1:33, i wouldve tried until i hit 1:31 and it was possible everywhere. now i dont know but ill replay all of them soon
The Nordschleife Experience was VERY hard for me, I was so happy when I made it. And a few weeks later they changed the times of all tracks (after that big car-handling-update) so my time was practically useless 😂
@@Targon999 Were you using a steering wheel for the Nurburgring Circuit Experience? So far I have been able to do a lot with my controller, but I admit that I am intimidated by this 'ring challenge lol
@@Vertignasse82 at that time I had the logitech g29, but a few months ago I got the fanatec dd pro, and it's really way better. But I havent dared to try the nürburgring challenge again. It took me weeks back then 😂
i got the 600kph trophy in the chevrolet c7 zr1. at the beginning there was a bug where you could glitch the car into the touristenfahrten entry at the nordschleife and it would fly in the air.
i am amazed however that you didnt have the rigidity trophy and even easier, the 10 rims…
as well as safety car.
oh and the 10 same cars trophy also was the c7 zr1 for me, got myself one in each colour. and when the 992 gt3 rs came out, i got myself 18 of them and made a livery for all of them so id have a full screen of them
I only have two of the Le mans legends left. The 500 miles does not have to be in one go. And for the 100 scapes pictures one you can take the same picture 100 times if you want.

I grinded the license golds for that trophy, now I just need the oval driving and the legendary cars which are just time consuming. But after the thrill of completing the license tests I have no motivation to grind credits to buy the last 2 legendary cars

Damn I got mine 3/3/2023 I didn't realise it was less than 1% as the platinum was pretty easy to get. Except buying the right cars for collector as needed one & it hardly went on sale

I'm platinum for quit a while now... Within the first year i got gt7 i think i already accomplished it.
Now i'm trying to own every single car.
liked a lot the video, just one thing, quick rally tip: try to "drift" thru corners instead of doing the corner like an asfalt with low grip and remember to stay low with gears to improve reactivity wich is super important on low grip surfaces like gravel or dirt (sand is a bit different because it is almost 0 friction and the car "float" less on the surface )
All I need is 2 of the 3 fancy cars. Can't be arsed with the grind though.
Except the Spa license this is a very easy platinum xD

I think you should try to invest some time shooting pics of your favorite cars in scapes or by finely tuning some of your basic cars, it's a lot fun and you can see the game from a whole new perspective
The one I really hated and loved at the same time was that spa challenge.
I feel so bad that ovals took that long. The trophy popped for me a month in and I’m pretty sure I was no where near 500miles.
It also gave me the trophy for doing 8,500 miles online when I had only driven 4,000 miles in my whole GT career 😂

I tuned my tomahawk to reach 400 mph/643 kwh with conditions that are just right on special route x.
This shows why Rory is such a nice person in PvP. After the streams he goes to Daytona to kill innocent AI drivers to get it all out. The mask has fallen.

I got mine a while back. I sat around for 3 whole months waiting for the legendary cars I needed to be available for purchase. Would’ve gotten the platinum a lot sooner if it wasn’t for that.
As a very casual gamer with only a control pad, seeing big time youtubers have to grind this achievement makes me feel like I achevied something getting the platinum trophy. Not that you struggled with it (I'm looking at you, Jimmy Broadbent 😂)

For the people that don't know... The Tomahawk does have a boost / overtake button which makes it very easy to go 630 km/h. Took a while before I figured that out lol

The only trophy I don't have is the all gold for licenses. I have all gold through International B, all but 3 on International A, and just 1 on Super. And I don't think I'll ever get it as I've never had all gold on all licenses. As well, I've never had a platinum trophy on any GT game. But that's OK, I still have fun.

Is there a work-around or fix for the "Student of Motoring History" trophy? I've obviously done the first car collecting menu, but it shows as not earned. I'm afraid this is going to forever prevent me from getting the Platinum trophy :( :(

Arguably the real hardest is getting gold in all the license tests and getting the three Le Mans cars… however…. This was fun and I’ll get the two trophies I mentioned one day…. Those are my last two before platinum

I’m 1 car shy of all cars in the game and watching this has spurred me on to get all trophies, all I need is all gold in licences, 50 sport mode races and the hidden trophy, googled how to get the hidden trophy and it says to complete menu 39 in cafe, I’ve already done that so is there a reason I didn’t the trophy for it?

Ps great idea for a video for the variation. I’d personally like to see you tackle the daily races in different cars with qualifying to mix it up. I never really enjoyed the meta aspect of the game. Gets boring. Leave that to kie25. 😏
I technically have the platinum trophy as well but i started at the ps4 version of the game and when i switched to my ps5, 2 of my trophees didnt get transfered over. 1st is compleeting the 1st carmenu and 2nd is compleeting the finale. does anyone know how to fix this?
