Do you really need a short answer to this challenge, Yellowbird? Well, let me tell you this. You need ALL the cars to beat Gran Turismo 4. If some of them don't work, try something else.
Great video tackling this challenge. I do need to add some constructive criticism: Having the same song that consists of a 4~5 second sample for almost 20 minutes was immensely headache inducing. Also, your voice inflection and intonation was pretty much always the same across the whole video. It's like you're reading all the sentences ending with a question mark. I do think that having a more diverse soundtrack and keeping the narration a bit more toned down would help. I hope I don't come across too harsh. Keep up the good work and thanks for the content.
You're not the first person who says this, I thought it would be less distracting but seems it's the opposite. Something to keep in mind for future videos, and yes, still trying to nail this voice-over thing.
I had a challenge run like this in mind but for 100% completion and wanted to make a video about it. I did find some parts of the run a bit questionable
Gran Turismo has always had absurd levels of difficulty, but the bots in Gran Turismo 4, forgive me, in the second to last corner of Opera Paris, I don't know why they brake, just to get in the way.
Yes, you would have to grind a bit to make the Beat competitive in MR challenge, however I think you could pair it with other events instead, say a Clio V6 for the French championship and MR challenge. Given most of the cars I used aren't crazy expensive, you should be fine. It will take longer, is all. The Legacy would decimate Capri rally and you could grind RSCs, if you feel like grinding.

These challenges are absolute fun. Especially also on GT5.
These Minoltas playing Gran Turismo 4 as if it's Burnout Revenge.
They don't give me a break, at all.
@@YellowbirdYT Just like in burnout, sadly for them. In GT4 you don't get rewarded with a nitro if you crash other's cars.
Shame I couldn't get into GT4 back when I played my ps2 more, I remember really enjoying GT2 as a child.
Imagine being in an NSX, and you see some shitter in a fucking Honda Beat, and then that Beat obliterates you in the race
Absoultely a life-changing event.
Great Video and a very nice challenge👍
It was pretty fun to tackle it, glad you enjoyed!
I love to be there before you blow up. You got the potential. ❤ subscriber well earned
We'll see! I'll make sure to keep working on these videos, only way to produce better content for all of you.
Drive the LOTUS ELAN from 1961 fully tuned!!! I swear it almost kills everything. Use slicks and nitro.
The Elan is pretty good indeed, always above its class!
Ace combat music on gt gameplay makes me feel home
Might as well mix two of my favorite games with eachother! Glad you noticed.
I have no idea how a Honda Beat could beat a Lotus Elise or Esprit.
How do you get your game to look so good? Mine is still pretty grainy even on 1080p. Still even with those settings it looks pretty good for 20 years old.
There are good tutorials on YT on how to set it up, with newer releases of PCXS2.
2:33 Nice rhyme.
I didn't notice, hah.
The song from Tokyo Xtreme racer drift 2 at the intro
I need to replay it again, but yes, totally!
The Honda Beatdown
Absolutely!
that's why it's called the beat
Do you really need a short answer to this challenge, Yellowbird? Well, let me tell you this.
You need ALL the cars to beat Gran Turismo 4. If some of them don't work, try something else.
the honda that BEAT the opponents
How silly of me, it's in the name. Of course it was destined for great things.
Great video!
Also I was wondering what emulator setting you use? This is the best looking GT4 gameplay I have ever seen
PCSX2 Dev build with Vulkan, there are a few good guides on YT on how to set it up proper. Also the HD UI mod which can also be found on YT!
Unless I'm mistaken, he didn't modify the cars either??
Also, the AI cannot figure out how to keep the RUFs on the track lol.
I did modify them, the Beat had a ton of upgrades. However, the rest of them were rather tame, mostly gearbox and suspension for better handling.
The Legacy made my heart happy. My Legacy Sedan just blew up 😢
Aw, no way. Hope it can be fixed!
You only need the Cappuccino.
Damn.. the only Honda Beat I know is the motorcycle one 😂
I had a challenge run like this in mind but for 100% completion and wanted to make a video about it. I did find some parts of the run a bit questionable
I'll watch it again ❤
That is a threat
Great video, where are you from?
Argentina.
Gran Turismo has always had absurd levels of difficulty, but the bots in Gran Turismo 4, forgive me, in the second to last corner of Opera Paris, I don't know why they brake, just to get in the way.
How many cars in total did you use, I lost track
14, unless I also missed something.
Would the same amount of cars be possible without cheating the amount of starting money?
Yes, you would have to grind a bit to make the Beat competitive in MR challenge, however I think you could pair it with other events instead, say a Clio V6 for the French championship and MR challenge. Given most of the cars I used aren't crazy expensive, you should be fine. It will take longer, is all. The Legacy would decimate Capri rally and you could grind RSCs, if you feel like grinding.
So funny when you‘ve won the M3 GTR 😂
As much as I like M3s. I couldn't stop myself.
Fun video but the music drove me crazy, the loop is too short. :P
Thank you! My apologies, figured it would be less distracting. Will take care of this for my next video.
@@YellowbirdYT No problem! Says a lot that the content was entertaining enough to keep me around despite this, eh? :P
Looking forward to it!
Honda Beat is in a Forza Game?
You can even change drivetrains to be unstoppable
Seems posible to do and keep the bumping and cutting at minimum
parking lot theme day tokyo xtreme racer drift 2 eh?
Close! It's the sponsor theme, actually.
@@YellowbirdYT oh darn, I knew it had to be a daytime song.
So much for those 70+ hours I spent on it lol
can u share graphics settings?
7:23 You did not just call the MR2 r€tarqeq
I'm not sure if my lawyer would appreciate if I answered this.
I hear Ace Combat music👀
Of course! One of my favorite franchises as well.
700+ cars, not a single Lamborghini or Ferrari... I would also say not a single Porsche, but they do have RUF.
