Up to All Hope Is Gone the band was growing and experimenting with their sound. Then Paul passed, Joey was given the boot, and then passed shortly after as well. Since then the band dumbed down and went backwards with their sound. Trying to be like “old school Slipknot” and just sounding like a shell of it’s former self.

I'm still gutted! Was fortunate enough to see Vimic and Sinaenum play live but still can't believe it. Joey couldn't believe the way he was treated by the band he co founded along with Paul Gray. Slipknot was their lives! R.I.P my favourite drummer. Life goes on but it will never be quite the same without his genius.

After Joey left us…I started looking up all his stuff..A lifelong fan. I found a gear tutorial about his drumkit/ brands/ endorsements etc etc while he was on tour with his new band (at the time) Vimic.. which led me to this, which i never heard til now and i cant stop listening. RIP JOEY 🤘🏻

Nichole Heather Honestly Corey Taylor was a good vocalist back in the day but now when it comes to slipknot he struggles keeping up with the tempo (or at least he did when i saw him live in 2013 and download and on live videos) . He can still sing but i think he's a bit old to be doing it in slipknot and he should focus on Stone Sour more
