- Seeing as our last review of this was over 2 years ago, AND that we have the White Version in our possession, we thought it would be nice to do an updated review of the ever-amazing DPT-RP1
Since we conducted our initial review the Digital Paper has received additional firmware updates that allow you to pinch and zoom PDF files and a ton of new writing features. Наука
Ive dreamt about this since I was a kid and it finally happened
This is just perfect. I have a ipad pro but it doesnt give me a good note taking experience. This device will hopefully do it. It looks so minimalistic and awsome. I just ordered it
This one is really great!
Speaking of the new 1.6 firmware update, they have just retrieved that update...
Great device ...thanks for the review
My lord, it's nice how this guy really gets on with the show from the opening frame. You had me when you skipped "hello".
10:28 This was so good until the last ten seconds, and then they lost the plot with that cheesy, drooling side-pan right out of Hasbro idiom from the 1970s.
Are these devices not for sale in the UK?
I imagine that the zoom up to 2000% would come in Handy in creating mind maps. You can zoom in and write the detailed information very tiny but get the big picture in the same document! But otherwise I'm more interested in the remarkable. Does anyone know whether this is possible on the RM too?
Change tip and recharge the pen and microusb and no pressure sensitivity and no real wifi.. but I really like the eraser and highlighter button
for those that are complaining that it has limited capabilities, i think that Sony want to initialy pefect the e-ink technology and then to include any other secondary capabilities
it is awesome
Would buy if it was available in Europe.
Can I write notes on my Bible or write notes on a mathematics workbook on this device?
I need this device , a device without facebook and twitter that deviate my focus, focus is the what we lack in this society and one specialized device for this purpose
Such a shame it's so limited compared to other devices because the screen and writing experience seems superb
The minimalist is its beauty. The only reason I use this is because I want exactly what it does. Glad it does not have android so it do not drain battery. Glad it does not do anything. I do not want to buy a helicopter and think like it does not fly like plane.
Will stick to Remarkable for now.. the new premium pen works great!
1) How long does the battery last on your Remarkable if you use it 5hrs/day? 2) Is it slow, lags a lot?........They are on sale at $499. Any input can help. Thanks!
cridecar Buy one and try it out for yourself. If you don’t like it, you can return it. No questions asked. I think it’s 30 days, but you’ll want to double check that. Free shipping both ways.
cridecar i have one. My battery lasts quite a while. for example, i may use it for two hours and the battery shows i have used a bar of battery life. i haven’t noticed any lag. the most annoying thing to me is not being able to organize my notes the way i want. i am hoping future updates may i prove this.
@@2twinszz Remarkables file transfer system is just plain bizarre and there's no need for it to be.
I wonder if Sony is gonna release a newer product it's been some time
No. Look at their track record: the DPT-S1 was on the market for 3 years b4 they released the RP1. Plus they actually have competition now, so Ill bet that they exit the market after this round fails to make any money
The same with you .
They will release once the chips inside it goes out of production
Why is this so expensive? Can someone tell me why you buy one of this instead of an iPad Pro an the pencil. Can't I take notes on that and also use it for multimedia? Thank, and great review. I would love one of this but is so damn expensive
Because of the e-ink screens. These screens are so expensive to make that it creates products that are priced insanely. Nobody with a working brain would buy such a thing and yes, a ipad with pencil is much better.
people who need this don't use it for multimedia. it's eink for superior reading experience with big screen for complex pdfs
If you're staring at documents all day and don't/can't carry around folders with you and/or want one of the best writing experiences. Battery life is also better.
It won't strain your eyes like any other tablet on the market. Uses a whole different technology.
I am looking for:
-sony dpt-rp1
Or
-remarkable 13.3
But used and cheap price suits me
like 300-400$
Can you show me a site where I find These types or someone who has these versions and sells them at this price 300-400$

💗💗😜😜Please provide a review with using inkredible android app in any e-ink device....
A bit restricted in this day and age.. Is there one with Android / Google play store? If it could have better Cloud integration and support multi format content, that's the least comprise one should have. True, the writing experience is unmatched I believe..
actually yes. and we are the only guys who sell it
