Winner of two Oscars, the romantic comedy that sparkles like diamonds! The names Audrey Hepburn and Holly Golightly have become synonymous since this dazzling romantic comedy was translated to the screen from Truman Capote's best-selling novella. Holly is a deliciously eccentric New York City playgirl determined to marry a Brazilian Millionaire. George Peppard plays her next-door neighbor, a writer who is "sponsored" by a wealthy Patricia Neal. Guessing who's the right man for Holly is easy. Seeing just how that romance blossoms is one of the enduring delights of this gem-like treat set to Henry Mancini's Oscar-winning score and the Oscar-winning Mancini-Johnny Mercer song "Moon River."
Featuring: Audrey Hepburn, George Peppard, Patricia Neal, Buddy Ebsen, Martin Balsam, Mickey Rooney, John McGiver, Dorothy Whitney, Stanley Adams, Elvia Allman

I know this is one of Audrey Hepburn's iconic roles but can we also take a moment to appreciate just how gorgeous George Peppard looked in this movie?
im so in love with his blue eyes urgh
Finally someone said it!!!!!!
yes ues yesssss
Delicious!
I thought he was wonderful! He was apparently difficult to work with (he was going through some tricky personal stuff at the time of filming, was mocked by Patricia Neal and Blake Edwards for his serious approach to method acting) and took the character in a different direction to what was intended (Paul/Fred's backstory was supposed to be much more sordid, also quite different from the book character who was an author-insert of sorts for Truman Capote) but I thought he played the role just perfectly. He gave the impression that Paul was just as lost as Holly, genuinely loved her, and had an irresistable earnestness that made him a very worthy leading man.
"I don't wanna put you in a cage, I wanna love you!"
Love the new Breakfast At Tiffany’s trailer! Premiered exactly on the day Audrey Hepburn was born 92 years ago.
a tip: watch movies at Flixzone. Been using them for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
@Jayden Darwin Yea, have been using flixzone for years myself :)
@@jaydendarwin3354 how can i get there? Pls comment the link
The advertising team has finally done some justice for this iconic film in Hollywood history!!
My girlfriend and I have no shared interests. One day we were trying to find common ground and just randomly I thought of this movie. She just barely remembered the film. We both seemed to recall enjoying it which I said gave us at least one thing.
Deep Blue Something song lyrics by any chance?!!
That's so precious 💞:)
I always thought that was a song about a guy REALLY desperate to stay in a relationship with his girlfriend.
Yes!!! 😀
I ❤ those 50s 60s dramatic Hollywood movies but nowadays movies are all about superheroes and fairytales. Breakfast at Tiffany's is truly a cinematic brilliance.
You read my thoughts. I'm so fed up of superhero souless movies. Nothing like a good old movie.
@@TheAdrianaPolari what a coincidence, i am just reading about of audrey hepburn and you have commented on me right now
They do have romantic movies nowadays the difference is people don’t pay to see those movies anymore. Times have changed
You just have to look for more. There are bunch of brilliant movies coming out every year
@@swagkachu3784 agreed! and many don't contain racist stereotypes of asians!
Still looks fresh and hip to this very day. Can't imagine what a treat this film was when it made its theatrical debut.
There aren't enough words to properly describe just how much I love this movie ❤️
I watched the movie, it was disappointing and stopped watching it halfway through.
Happy that they know the importance of the cat, but should have mentioned it in the cast too 😅
So good ❤❤ Moon River always gives me chills with Audrey singing it
I saw this on TV in the 1970s. I 1961 I had no clue about romance as I was busy playing army in the dirt. Moon River has always been on my list of many favorite songs though.
I love a great film like that.
Hoy cumple 60 años de estreno la genial película con la bellísima Audrey Hepburn ❤️
Growing up, I never heard of this movie until I heard the Deep Blue Something's song.
Wow. This looks great. I might finally watch it.
Don't bother
For a minute I thought they were announcing it was coming to 4K
Ite coming out in 8k for the new 2025 Redray players.
Who else came here from CGP Grey?
So this movie is the reason the name “Tiffany” became popular.
She’s kind of a manic pixie dream girl here.
I love how classy things were back then. The people, the way they dressed, speak, moved, the cars, even relationships were classy back then… The only thing that hasn’t changed is, fortunately, the cats; they remain as classy as they used to be…
Meu filme favorito ❤️
I'm surprised they haven't tried to CGI Mickey Rooney out.
Me encantó esa prlicula😊
breakfast at tiffanys with bottles of bubbles

オードリーヘップバーンの声がとても心地よくて素敵
AUDREY A MUSA SAGRADA DIVINA ETERNA E IMORTAL
Que comedia, todo lo que hizo es inolvidable❤
Ok i really wanted her to name the cat :'l
经典永不过时
The ginger cat was cute
I always thought the themes in Breakfast at Tiffany's were similar to the ones in the novel Great Expectations by Charles Dickens.
I thought I was watching the A-Team 😆
I think if they got Steve McQueen in this movie it would go to the next level
I don't like this movie, that would have been great ❤❤❤❤
In movie history.
When are we getting a 4K transfer?
Why 4K? Why you just don't wait for 8K? Or 16K?
@@ivankamarelj3542we do! And why u dont watch VHS again?
She was before her time
I don't deny the idea that my Asian friends could become Hollywood actors and actresses Superstars but it's just hard for me to perceive them
My second favorite movie 🥰🤍🤍🤍🤍👐🫠
thanks.
CGP Grey sent me here.
Mickey Rooney's best!
Audry Hepburn was amazing in this, but if u pay attention her character is kind of apprehensible.
best. movie. ever.
❤❤❤❤
Production ideas goodnight
Esta mulher só não é mais linda por falta de espaço.
😍🌹
I completely agree with one of the Commenters that the scenes with Mr. Yunioshi so clearly make fun of Asians! Racial Stereotyping, and even worse poking fun at them. I guess in those days producers thought Mickey Rooney in a film would draw more people to see the film --- especially if they made up his face as they did.
In the 50s, as a kid and a church goer, I was surprised to hear schoolmates making fun of Chinese people, squinting their eyes by pulling them sideways, and talking very much like Mickey Rooney did. This continued into Junior High School, as well. There were also jokes about Ukrainians , and Poles and words that I didn't recognize but later discovered were cruel racial names. The kids got heard those jokes from older kids, who must have heard adults laughing and name calling.
I'm so glad that wrongs like this are finally being righted in families and in schools, and are being written into the Criminal Code as a Racist Crime in Canada. Yes, I'll watch the movie again, but I'll fast forward through Mickey Rooney. :)
Mickey Rooney scenes are not of any impirtance to the story so if some people want to fast-forward through hs scenes they won't miss much, really.
I agree that some of the horrible stereotypes of certain races is not a good thing in the films of that generation, but I do think certain social engineering has gone way too far, especially when it comes to gender and sexuality.
Xenophobia is a natural human reaction, humour, including making fun of others, is a coping mechanism
While we should understand and get better, thinking of these as crimes is missing the point
Apparently when the legendary director Akira Kurosawa met director of Tiffany's Blake Edwards and realized who he was, he could hardly bear to be in the same room as him; Edwards, to his credit, was in turn deeply embarrassed and regretted casting Rooney
I wouldn't do it again but its if its time and part of it now. I like Mickey Rooney and Hepburn together. He did a good job.
A classic, for sure - and great acting.
But what i will comment on, story-wise, is that it could have been written better. Thankfully, i don't like this movie for the story *lol* i just appreciate Audrey's acting and style. Her character deserved better - could have given her a hot rich dude who wasn't a knobhead to her.
People dont belong to people, i wouldnt let anyone put me in a cage.

I want to watch this .. seems fun.. but not in black and white
it’s not in black and white?
It’s never in black and white! Plz do watch! It’s amazing
It's not black and white, but don't bother, it's not a great movie.
I'm sorry but I AM NOT A FAN of this film, or a fan of Audrey Hepburn.
this movie is terrible don't be fooled by the trailer
Yeah I watched this with my boyfriend.. so disappointing. What a misleading trailer
@@_swesters_ me and my girlfriend watched this together too it was a real bummer..
You people need to grow up.
It's about two lonely sex workers in a very stylish early 60s setting, what's bad about that?
@@ceceliajones9927 tbh I like it for the outfits and overall aesthetic. And who could forget Moon River!
I think people mostly love seeing it because Audrey is simply in it. Its not bad, but most movies were like that back then. I feel like “Charade” was her best movie! Loved the plot in that one.
I like this film except for Micky Rooney's character. It ruins the film. I'd actually like to see a remake of Breakfast at Tiffany's with Natasha Legerro, where Maragaret Cho and Bobby Lee are her neighbors and it would still have the same romantic story, but have a clash of cultures between her and her neighbors, until they become friends. A different take on it, might actually make the film better. Obviously stay true to the original story, but reference Legally Blonde, Clueless and other romantic comedies. The TV show All American Girl had a hilarious representation of an Asian family that was believable. In my take Holly Golightly presents herself as classy and sophisticated, but her lifestyle is all an illusion, because she has 5 Credit Cards and is in Credit Card debt. A Middle Class girl, who's family lost everything in the Stock Market Crash of 2008, she doesn't want people to know she's lower middle class.
This movie was not good and did not translate well to our times. I stopped watching half way through.
As I recall I think we both kinda liked it
They sure did skip the racist parts in this trailer… well done 👌🏾
